Urban Armor Gear [IRVINE, CA] has named Scott W. Hardy as Chief Executive Officer. UAG Co-Founder Samuel Siu will shift to the position of President and will retain his seat on UAG’s Board of Directors. Prior to UAG, Hardy spent two years as President of Blue Zones Brands. Before Blue Zones, Hardy spent nine years as President and CEO of Polaroid. Hardy has also held various leadership positions in product marketing at Dell Inc. as well as at Intel.
NYMBUS® [MIAMI, FL] announced that it has appointed Jeffery Kendall to serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Kendall succeeds the company’s founder, Scott Killoh, who will continue to serve as Executive Chairman of the Board and advisor to the management team. Kendall previously served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Kony DBX.
Rally [NEW YORK] announced that George Leimer will join the management team as CEO. Leimer previously held roles at Disney/ESPN, Apple & eBay. Christopher Bruno, founding CEO, will transition to a new role as President and will remain on the company board of directors.
United Natural Foods, Inc. [PROVIDENCE, RI] (NYSE: UNFI) announced that Steven L. Spinner has informed the Company of his intention to retire as Chief Executive Officer after the conclusion of the term of his employment agreement on July 31, 2021. Spinner has agreed to remain on the Board to serve as Executive Chairman following his retirement as CEO.
American Expediting Company [FOLCROFT, PA] announced that Kerry Anne Carter has been named as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently Carter served as the Executive Leader of Staples’ B2B furniture division. Prior to that Carter served as the Executive Leader of Staples’ B2B office supplies business.
Granite Construction Incorporated [WATSONVILLE, CA] (NYSE: GVA) announced the appointment of Kyle T. Larkin as President and Principal Executive Officer, as well as the upcoming retirement of President and Chief Executive Officer James H. Roberts. These changes were effective September 22, 2020. Larkin joined the Company in 1996, and since February 2020, has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Larkin held a variety of positions with successive responsibility within the Company, including serving as Senior Vice President and Group Manager from 2017 to 2019. In October 2019, the Company announced that Larkin would serve as Senior Vice President and Manager of Construction and Materials Operations. Previously, Larkin served as Vice President and Regional Manager in Nevada from January 2014 to September 2017, and President of Granite’s wholly owned subsidiary, Intermountain Slurry Seal, Inc. from 2011 to 2014. Larkin also served as Manager of Construction for the Company’s Reno area office from 2008 to 2011, Chief Estimator from 2004 to 2008 and Project Manager, Project Engineer and Estimator at Granite’s Nevada Branch between 1996 and 2003.
Liberty Media Corporation [ENGLEWOOD, CO] (NASDAQ: LSXMA) announced that Stefano Domenicali will assume the role of President and CEO of Formula 1 in January 2021. Chase Carey, the current Chairman and CEO, will move to the role of non-executive Chairman. Domenicali began his professional career at Ferrari in 1991, where he held various positions, increasing his responsibility until he became the Team Principal for Ferrari Formula 1 in 2008. In 2014 Domenicali joined Audi AG as Vice President of New Business Initiatives and then was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini in 2016.
ISOutsource [BOTHELL, WA] announced that Naveen Rajkumar will be joining ISOutsource as Chief Executive Officer and President. Rajkumar will be joining ISOutsource from iLink Digital, where he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer for the past three years. Prior to iLink Systems, Rajkumar was SVP and Chief Information Officer at Onvia Inc. until 2017 and General Manager at Aditi Technologies until 2009.
CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced the appointment of Marcel Loh as president and chief executive officer. Prior to joining CHA HPMC, Loh served as the CEO of Providence Saint John’s Health Center, and the John Wayne Cancer Institute from 2014 to 2019. Loh previously served in executive roles with Providence affiliate Swedish Health Services, for 14 years. Loh succeeds Robert Allen, who joined CHA HPMC as the CEO in 2017.
Chartered Business Valuators Institute [TORONTO, ON] announced the appointment of Christine Sawchuk as its next President and CEO. Sawchuk assumes the position from Mary Jane Andrews who is retiring after five years in the role. Sawchuk joined the Institute in May 2014 as the Associate Director of Education and Standards before taking on the role of Director of Education and Accreditation. Prior to joining the Institute, Sawchuk held various roles in public practice valuation for over 10 years.
Animal Supply Company [IRVING, TX] announced the promotion of Tim Batterson to President and Chief Executive Officer. Don McIntyre, former Chief Executive Officer, has accepted a position as Chief Executive Officer for another company outside of the pet industry. Batterson joined Animal Supply Company in 2014, most recently serving as its Chief Operating Officer.
Conga [SAN MATEO, CA] announced the appointment of Noel Goggin as its Chief Executive Officer. Goggin takes the helm from Frank Holland. Goggin joins Conga with nearly 30 years of leadership, management and culture experience within the software industry. Goggin most recently served as the CEO and Culture Leader at Aptos. Prior to joining Aptos, Goggin was the General Manager of the retail business unit at RedPrairie.
Bacharach [PITTSBURGH, PA] announced the appointment of Matthew Toone as Chief Executive Officer. Toone joins Bacharach from Emerson, where he served as Vice President of Sales, Service and Solutions for Emerson’s Cold Chain Platform. Prior to his time with Emerson’s Cold Chain Platform, Toone was Vice President and General Manager at Cooper Atkins.
Intelivideo [BROOMFIELD, CO] announced the appointment of Adam Zeitsiff as the company’s new president and CEO. Zeitsiff most recently served as President and CEO of Gold’s Gym. Matt Given, current CEO of Intelivideo, transitions to serve as chairman of Intelivideo’s Board of Directors.
Tarveda Therapeutics, Inc. [WATERTOWN, MA] announced the appointment of Brian Roberts as President and Chief Executive Officer. Roberts will succeed Drew Fromkin, who has resigned from his roles as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board to pursue other interests and will transition to an advisory role. Roberts served as Chief Financial Officer of Tarveda since joining the company in January 2018, and in March 2020 was appointed to President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Tarveda, Roberts served as Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Avedro, Inc. Previously, Roberts served as Chief Financial Officer at Insulet Corporation. Prior to Insulet, Roberts served as Chief Financial Officer for Jingle Networks, which was acquired by Marchex, Inc. Roberts also served as Chief Financial Officer at Digitas. Roberts also held finance positions at Idiom Technologies, Inc., the Monitor Group and served as an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP.
The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. [NEW YORK] has named Patsy S. Doerr as Chief Executive Officer, effective on October 19, 2020. Doerr was most recently the global head of Diversity and Inclusion at Credit Suisse and prior to that was responsible for Thomson Reuters’ corporate social responsibility, diversity and inclusion and sustainability functions. Doerr was also a brand ambassador for Thomson Reuters. Doerr has held leadership roles at JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse in New York, London, and Hong Kong.
Rx.Health [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Richard Strobridge as its Chief Executive Officer. Strobridge has served as the founder or co-founder of seven companies and has had three successful digital health exits.
AAMP Global [CLEARWATER, FL] has named Scott Forst as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Previous President and Chief Executive Officer, Jamie Fraser was appointed Executive Chairman of AAMP’s Board. Forst has been with AAMP Global for over 8 years in various roles, starting as Senior Vice President of Sales. After 5 years, Forst was promoted to President of the Americas.
Summit BHC [FRANKLIN, TN] announced that Brent Turner has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Turner succeeds Jon O’Shaughnessy, who will now serve as President of the company. From 2011 to 2019, Turner served as President of Acadia Healthcare. Turner spent seven years at Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. as Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration.
The United States Institute of Peace [WASHINGTON, DC] has unanimously selected Lise Grande to be the Institute’s new president and CEO. Grande, a senior American UN official who has spent most of her career in conflict zones, will be the sixth president in the organization’s 36-year history. Grande is currently the head of UN humanitarian and development operations in Yemen. Prior to her assignment in Yemen, Grande was responsible for the UN’s humanitarian, stabilization, and development operations while serving as deputy head of the UN’s political mission in Iraq during the campaign against ISIS. Grande was also responsible for the UN’s humanitarian and development work in South Sudan in the lead-up to independence and during the first year of statehood. Grande has headed UN operations in India and Armenia and served in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, Tajikistan, Sudan, and Haiti.
BST Global [TAMPA, FL] announced that Javier A. Baldor has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. This announcement comes in light of the passing of BST Global’s Founder, President & CEO Carlos A. Baldor Sr. in August 2020. Javier, who previously served as the company’s Executive Vice President, joined BST Global in 1989 and has served in various capacities during his tenure.
Achieve Life Sciences, Inc. [SEATTLE, WA & VANCOUVER, BC] (NASDAQ: ACHV) announced the promotion of John Bencich to Chief Executive Officer. Bencich has been serving as Achieve’s Chief Financial and Operating Officer since 2017. Bencich will join the Board of Directors in his role as Chief Executive Officer. Rick Stewart, Achieve’s current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will remain with Achieve as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors.
YPO [DALLAS, TX] announced that Xavier Mufraggi, a member of its YPO Paris Chapter, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 December 2020. Mufraggi joins YPO from Club Med. Mufraggi was most recently the President and CEO of Club Med Europe, Middle East, Africa Markets. Mufraggi previously held the position of CEO for North America and the Caribbean. Mufraggi is succeeding Scott Mordell in the position. Mordell has been YPO’s longest serving Chief Executive Officer, in the role since 2011 and an active YPO member since 1995. Mordell announced in December 2019 that he would be departing at the end of this year.
Corel Corporation [OTTAWA, ON] announced that Christa Quarles has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Quarles recently served as CEO of OpenTable and having previously held executive roles at NextDoor, Inc. and The Walt Disney Company. Quarles succeeds former CEO Patrick Nichols who stepped down from the company earlier this year. Quarles also served as Chief Financial Officer of Playdom, which was later acquired by Disney. Prior to that, Quarles held the role of Partner in Equity Research covering the internet sector at Thomas Weisel Partners LLC (now Stifel Financial).
Team Whistle [NEW YORK & LOS ANGELES, CA] has promoted Michael Cohen to CEO. Cohen has also been appointed to the company’s board of directors. John West, Team Whistle’s founder and CEO, will assume the role of full-time executive chairman and remain on the board. Cohen has held a series of increasingly senior roles within Team Whistle, originally joining the company as executive vice president of finance and operations. Cohen was subsequently promoted to COO and has most recently served as president since 2018.
GammaRey [NEW YORK] announced that Mark Carter has been appointed as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. Carter previously served as Chief Operating Officer at GammaRey before this appointment. Before joining GammaRey, Carter held the position of Vice President, Product Mobile at Skrill.
Make-A-Wish® Canada [TORONTO, ON] announced the appointment of Lynne Hudson as Chief Executive Officer. Hudson has worked at some of Canada’s largest and most respected charities, including Plan International Canada and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Most recently, Hudson served as the CEO of the Canadian Cancer Society.
HDT Global [SOLON, OH] announced the appointment of Jim Stephens as the new President and Chief Executive Officer. Stephens replaces Fred Strader, a current member of the HDT Board of Directors, who had served in the role on an interim basis. Stephens most recently served as the General Manager for Parker Hannifin’s Stratoflex Products Division. Stephens also served as the General Manager of the Wheel & Brakes Division, Business Unit Manager of the Hydraulic Valve Division and Business Development Manager for Defense Systems. Prior to Parker Hannifin, Stephens was general manager of Domnick Hunter’s Protective Filtration Systems US division.
Tertill Corporation [BOSTON, MA] announced that Helen Greiner will take on the role of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. Greiner was Chairman and President of iRobot Corp. from its startup phase, to the successful launch of the iconic Roomba Vacuuming Robot®, and all the way through IPO.
H-CYTE, Inc. [TAMPA, FL] (OTCQB: HCYT) announced that Robert Greif has been named the company’s new chief executive officer. Most recently, Greif was Chief Commercial Officer and Business Development Leader at Atox Bio. Prior to that, Greif led the Commercial Operations of rEVO Biologics. Grief has also held a variety of business unit and commercial leadership roles at United Health Group, Boehringer Ingelheim and Sanofi. Greif replaces William E. Horne, who is stepping down as CEO but will remain on the company’s Board of Directors.
AFFCU [SAN ANTONIO, TX] announced the selection of Ryan Ross as AFFCU’s new President and CEO. Ross will succeed retiring CEO Bob Glenn, who has led the credit union for the past 14 years. Ross has more than 12 years’ experience in the credit union industry, most recently serving as Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer at Pen Air Federal Credit Union in Pensacola, FL for the last six years. Prior to Pen Air FCU, Ross worked at SAFE Federal Credit Union in Sumter, SC at Shaw Air Force Base from 2008 until 2014.
Abeona Therapeutics Inc. [NEW YORK & CLEVELAND, OH] (NASDAQ: ABEO) announced that João Siffert resigned from his positions as CEO, Head of Research and Development, and Chief Medical Officer, as well as member of the Board of Directors, on September 23, 2020.
Kaleido Biosciences, Inc. [LEXINGTON, MA] (NASDAQ: KLDO) announced that Daniel Menichella has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the company’s Board of Directors, effective October 13, 2020. Menichella succeeds Alison Lawton, who stepped down but continued to work with the Company in the Office of the CEO Menichella is an experienced Chief Executive Officer, having been hired as CEO of CureVac Inc.’s US subsidiary in January 2017 before taking over as CEO of the international company in June of 2018. Prior to that, Menichella was Chief Business Officer at several companies, including Bamboo Therapeutics from 2015-2016, Applied Genetic Technologies Corporation from 2013-2015 and Zyngenia, Inc. from 2011-2013. Menichella also led Business Development and Corporate Strategy functions at Talecris Biopharmaceuticals from 2007-2011 and at Merck KGaA from 2002-2007.
AZTherapies, Inc. [BOSTON, MA] announced the appointment of Marc de Garidel to the position of Chief Executive Officer. de Garidel has also joined the company’s Board of Directors. De Garidel succeeds company Founder and former CEO David R. Elmaleh who is remaining as Executive Chairman of the AZTherapies Board of Directors and Chief Scientific Officer. Prior to joining AZTherapies, de Garidel served as CEO of Corvidia Therapeutics. From 2010 to 2016, de Garidel served as Chairman and CEO of Ipsen SA. de Garidel continues to serve as non-executive Chairman of the Ipsen Board of Directors. Prior to that, de Garidel spent 15 years at Amgen, initially joining as the company’s Chief Financial Officer in Europe and ultimately leading the South Region of Amgen International.
Delcath Systems, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: DCTH) announced that it has appointed Gerard Michel as Chief Executive Officer. Michel will also serve as a member of the Delcath Systems Board of Directors. In his most recent role, Michel was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Corporate Development at Vericel Corporation. Prior to Delcath, Michel was Chief Financial Officer of Vericel since June 2014. Michel also served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Corporate Development of Biodel from November 2007 to May 2014, and Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Corporate Development of NPS Pharmaceuticals Inc. from August 2002 to November 2007. Prior to Mr. Michel was a Principal at Booz Allen and held a variety of commercial roles at both Lederle Labs and Wyeth Labs.
First Merchants Corporation [MUNCIE, IN] (NASDAQ:FRME) announced President & CEO Michael C. Rechin announced he will retire from his position effective December 31, 2020. Rechin will remain on the First Merchants Board of Directors and will serve as an advisor to First Merchants going forward. Succeeding Rechin will be Mark Hardwick, current COO and CFO, who will become CEO. Hardwick joined First Merchants in November 1997 as corporate controller and was promoted to CFO in April of 2002.
Verso Corporation [MIAMISBURG, OH] (NYSE: VRS) announced that Adam St. John has resigned as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors. The Verso Board of Directors has named Randy J. Nebel, a current member of the Board, as interim President and Chief Executive Officer. Nebel will also continue to serve as a member of Verso’s Board. Nebel joined Verso’s Board in 2019. Nebel previously served as Executive Vice President of Integrated Packing at KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation. Nebel was formerly President of Longview Fibre Paper and Packing, Inc. and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Manufacturers and the American & Forest Paper Association.
Fearless Films, Inc. [TORONTO, ON] (OTC: FERL) announced that Victor Altomare, the principal shareholder of the Company will become the CEO and join the Board of Directors. Dennis dos Santos, is stepping down from his role as CEO. dos Santos will remain with the Company in a consulting role, to assist the management team.
Precision [LAS VEGAS, NV] announced that Thomas Sedlak, the former Senior Vice President of Precision, was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Precision. Sedlak most recently served as Precision’s Senior Vice President. Sedlak joined Precision in 2008 as the Controller and was promoted to Manager of Operations. In January 2013, Sedlak was promoted to Vice President of Operations and, in November 2017, Sedlak was promoted to Senior Vice President. Prior to joining Precision, Sedlak had more than 11 years of financial management and controllership experience with PPG Industries and DQE Energy Services.
Global Boatworks Holdings, Inc. [BALTIMORE, MD] announced that Robert Rowe submitted his resignation as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board. Prior to the above resignation, Laurin Leonard was appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Treasurer, Secretary, and Director. From May 2018 to the present, Leonard served as the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of R3 Score Technologies, Inc. From 2012 to present, Leonard has served as Executive Director of Mission: Launch, Inc.
