Crown Media Family Networks [STUDIO CITY, CA] announced Wonya Lucas as president and CEO. Crown Media Family Networks is a subsidiary company of Hallmark Cards, Inc. Lucas previously held several positions at Discovery Communications, including executive vice president and chief operating officer for Discovery Channel and Science Channel, as well as global chief marketing officer. Lucas also served as general manager and executive vice president of The Weather Channel networks. Prior to that, Lucas held several positions at Turner Broadcasting System, including senior vice president of strategic marketing for CNN; vice president of business operations and network development for TNT and TBS; and vice president of entertainment marketing for TNT Entertainment properties. Earlier in her career, Lucas spent several years in various brand management roles for the Coca-Cola Company and Clorox.
Waller Helms Advisors [CHICAGO, IL] announced that it has appointed James Anderson as Chief Executive Officer. Anderson joins WHA from CNA Financial where he most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Anderson was with CNA Financial for seven years, initially as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. Prior to CNA, Anderson spent nearly a decade as an insurance investment banker with Fox-Pitt Kelton Cochran Caronia Waller and Macquarie Capital.
indiGO Auto Group [HOUSTON, TX] announced the promotion of Kelly Wolf to Chief Executive Officer and Dealer Principal. Wolf joined indiGo Auto Group in 2010 as General Manager. After the acquisition of Desert European Motorcars in 2013, Wolf was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
NOM [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced the appointment of Brian Atwood as chief executive officer. Prior to NOM, Atwood served on the leadership teams of Zefr, dataxu, iHeart Radio and AOL. Atwood was also a member of the board at the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA).
MarinHealth [GREENBRAE, CA] announced that it has selected David G. Klein as its new Chief Executive Officer effective September 1, 2020. Klein will succeed MarinHealth’s current CEO, Lee Domanico, who is retiring September 30. Domanico will move into an advisory role for the month of September. Klein comes to MarinHealth after serving as President and CEO of Dignity Health’s Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco. Before Dignity Health, Klein was Chief Operating Officer and then President of the Baylor Scott & White Health All Saints Medical Center. Klein has also served as Administrator of Presbyterian Hospital of Denton, and as CEO of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. In addition to his new role as CEO at MarinHealth, Klein currently serves as the Chair of the San Francisco Section of the Hospital Council of Northern and Central California and is a member of the San Francisco Marin Medical Society. Klein also sits on the Board of Directors of the Saint Francis Foundation and the Board of the Hacienda Surgery Center and serves as an ex-officio member of the St. Mary’s Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors.
Angel Medical Systems INC [EATONTOWN, NJ] announced the appointment of Gordie Nye as its new Chief Executive Officer. Gordie succeeds the company’s founder David Fischell, who will become the Chairman of the Board. Nye’s career began at Gillette and progressed to Reebok and then LA Gear. Nye entered the medical device field as the CEO of “A” Company Orthodontics.
TRIP II [STERLING, VA] announced that it has appointed Renée N. Hamilton as Chief Executive Officer. Hamilton joins the Greenway following a distinguished 32-year career at the Virginia Department of Transportation, where she served most recently as Deputy District Administrator for Northern Virginia.
Security Services Holdings, LLC [NORWALK, CT] announced that it has hired Nathaniel Shaw as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Protos Security, Shaw served as the Chief Commercial Officer of Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC.
The Silicon Valley Leadership Group [SAN JOSE, CA] announced that it has selected Ahmad Thomas as its new CEO, effective August 10, 2020. Thomas succeeds Carl Guardino, who served the group as CEO for more than 23 years. Prior to joining the Leadership Group, Thomas worked for a decade as an investment banker at Barclays.
Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc. [LAKEVILLE-MIDDLEBORO, MA] announced that it has selected Tom Hayes as the cooperative’s next president and chief executive officer. Hayes is the former president and CEO of Tyson Foods.
Ardent Health Services [NASHVILLE, TN] has appointed Martin Bonick President and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 17, 2020. David T. Vandewater, Ardent’s long-tenured President and CEO, has retired from the company. Ardent Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Paul Kappelman is serving as Interim President and CEO until Bonick joins the company. Prior to joining Ardent, Bonick was CEO of PhyMed Healthcare Group. Prior to PhyMed, Bonick served as a Division President at Community Health Systems. Previously, Boncik was Senior Vice President of Operations at Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s Health System; President and CEO of Jewish Hospital; CEO of Oklahoma State University Medical Center; and VP of Operations at Hillcrest Medical Center.
Pioneer Energy Service Corp. [SAN ANTONIO, TX] announced that Stacy Locke has decided to step down as President, Chief Executive Officer, and as a director of the Company effective July 17, 2020. Locke has been President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since December 2003 and has been associated with the Company in various leadership capacities for over 25 years. Matt Porter, a member of the Company’s Board of Directors will serve as interim President and interim Chief Executive Officer until a successor is appointed. Porter has been a director of the Company since May 29, 2020. Porter is currently a founding partner at Activos, LLC and Allied Industrial Partners. Previously, Porter was a chief executive officer, president and director at Xtreme Drilling Corp. and chief financial officer at Bronco Drilling Company.
Continuum Global Solutions [DALLAS, TX] announced that Ronald Gillette has joined the Company as Chief Executive Officer. Gillette was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of WNS Global Services Pvt. Ltd. Gillette also held leadership roles with Xerox Services Europe, Accenture, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and EDS Russia.
ANGUS VENTURES INC. [TORONTO, ON] (TSX-V: GUS) announced that Andrey Shamis has been appointed interim Chief Executive Officer. Shamis joined the Company’s board of directors in 2017. Shamis is succeeding Patrick Langlois in this role.
TEDCO [COLUMBIA, MD] announced that it has appointed Troy LeMaile-Stovall as Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director, effective September 7, 2020. LeMaile-Stovall serves as Chief Operating Officer at the University of the District of Columbia and he founded and serves as Managing Member of LeMaile Stovall LLC. LeMaile-Stovall was Interim President for Zenith Education Group. Additionally, LeMaile-Stovall was a Principal at Butler Snow Advisory Services, serving not only higher education clients but also senior levels in higher education as EVP/COO at Howard University and Sr. VP/CFO at Jackson State University. LeMaile-Stovall co-founded and operated as the first President/CEO of GulfSouth Capital, Ambassador John N. Palmer’s multi-million dollar family investment office; LeMaile-Stovall served global technology and telecommunications clients as a Sr. Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co.; and held positions at Southwestern Bell Telephone, Bell Labs and Rockwell International.
Spiral Binding [TOTOWA, NJ] announced that Robert Roth is retiring and Douglas Nash will be the new CEO. Roth, an owner of the company and a 50-year veteran of Spiral, will serve as Chairman of the Board. Nash was previously president since September 2018.
PLH Group, Inc. [IRVING, TX] announced that the Company has appointed Peter J. Sandore as Chief Executive Officer. Sandore recently advised company management teams and Boards of Directors as a management member at Business Resource Consulting, LLC. Prior to that, Sandore held the position of Chief Executive Officer and later Chairman of the Board of Sabre Industries, Inc. Previously in his career Sandore held senior management positions at Fansteel, The Siemon Company and American Tower.
Hudson Technologies, Inc. [PEARL RIVER, NY] (NASDAQ: HDSN) announced that it has appointed Brian F. Coleman Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer, roles he had assumed on an interim basis following the passing of Kevin J. Zugibe, the Company’s former Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, on June 23, 2020. Coleman has been with Hudson Technologies since May 1997 and most recently served as Hudson’s President and Chief Operating Officer since August 2001.
Qumu Corporation [MINNEAPOLIS, MN] (NASDAQ: QUMU) announced that it has appointed technology executive TJ Kennedy as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 20, 2020. Kennedy will succeed Vern Hanzlik, who has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director of the Company, to pursue other interests. Kennedy joins Qumu from Allerio, Inc., where he served as CEO and a Director since January 2019. Kennedy was also one of the founders and principals of The Public Safety Network. In addition, Kennedy served as the President of First Responder Network Authority. Prior to FirstNet, Kennedy served as the President of JPS Communications, Inc., a subsidiary of Raytheon Company.
Applied Biomimetic [GAITHERSBURG, MD] announced Imran Jaferey as Chief Executive Officer. Jaferey comes to AB from Nanostone Water, where he was the Chief Commercial Officer. Jaferey started his career working in engineering and project management roles at Lurgi PSI. Jaferey spent sixteen years at Koch Membrane Systems in business development roles with the last four years as Sr. Vice President of the company’s water and wastewater business unit.
Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. [OAKVILLE, ON] (NYSE: AQN) announced the retirement of Ian Robertson as Chief Executive Officer and the appointment of Arun Banskota as the incoming CEO. Arun Banskota joined APUC as President in February 2020. Banskota was previously Managing Director, Global Power, El Paso Corporation.
