The Russell Family Foundation [GIG HARBOR, WA] announced Kathleen Simpson as chief executive officer. Prior to this appointment, Simpson served as TRFF’s interim CEO since January 2020 and chief financial officer since September 2015. Prior to joining the Foundation, Simpson was director of finance for an independent wealth management firm. Simpson also founded and operated a public accounting firm providing CFO services to businesses.
Bob’s Discount Furniture [MANCHESTER, CT] announced that Bill Barton has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Barton will succeed Ted English, who has been serving as Interim CEO since June, effective November 3, 2020. English will continue in his role as Executive Chairman and will remain actively involved with the Company. Most recently, Barton spent 11 years as CEO of California Closets.
ATWEC Technologies [MEMPHIS, TN] (OTCMKTS: ATWT) announced the promotion of Darnell Stitts to President & CEO. Alex T. Wiley will step down to serve in an advisory capacity after acting as ATWEC Technologies’ CEO since 2000. Most recently Stitts served as Director and Chief Operating Officer of ATWEC Technologies.
Real Good Foods [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced that Gerard Law has been named Chief Executive Officer, effective October 14. Law most recently was Senior Vice President of J&J Snack Foods Corp’s snack division.
defi SOLUTIONS [WESTLAKE, TX] announced the appointment of Tom Allanson as CEO. Allanson will succeed Bret Leech, who is stepping down as CEO and leaving the company. Allanson most recently served as head of Enterprise Payment Solutions at Fiserv and previously served as CEO of PerfectForms Inc.; president of digital, international, and commercial at H&R Block; and CEO and co-founder of TaxNet Inc, which was ultimately acquired by H&R Block.
The InfoTrack Group of Companies [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Matt Duncan as the new Group CEO for InfoTrack US, effective 12 October 2020. Duncan has been a key leader of the NetDocuments executive team since its start-up days in 1999, and was appointed as NetDocuments CEO in 2014.
Randstad Sourceright [ATLANTA, GA] announced the appointment of current EMEA Managing Director Michael Smith to Global CEO. Smith will assume the duties of current CEO Rebecca Henderson, effective January 1, 2021. Smith currently manages the dual responsibilities of leading Randstad Sourceright EMEA and the Randstad UK operating company out of his post in Amsterdam. To replace Smith in Randstad UK’s office, Victoria (Vicky) Short will become the CEO of Randstad UK, effective January 1, 2021. Short began her career with Randstad over 20 years ago in Randstad’s Business Support division in the United Kingdom.
Christie Campus Health [LEXINGTON, MA] has named Katharine (Kate) Begley its new Chief Executive Officer. Begley most recently served as head of sales for Health Advocate. Begley spent 25 years at Aetna Insurance in a variety of executive roles. During her career at Aetna Begley was President of Aetna Student Health.
STV [NEW YORK] has named Gregory A. Kelly president and chief executive officer, effective October 26, 2020. Prior to joining STV, Kelly was the chief executive officer of Heritage Construction + Materials. Before this role, Kelly was president and chief executive officer of WSP USA.
Dewpoint Therapeutics [BOSTON, MA] announced that it has appointed Ameet Nathwani as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Nathwani most recently served as Chief Medical Officer, Chief Digital Officer, and Executive Committee member at Sanofi SA. Prior to Sanofi, Nathwani was the Global Head of Medical Affairs and a member of the Pharma Executive Committee at Novartis Pharmaceuticals AG. Over his 12-year tenure at Novartis, Nathwani held a number of senior development and commercial positions including Senior Vice President and Global Head of the Critical Care Business Franchise and Senior Vice President and Global Development Head of the Cardiovascular and Metabolism Franchise.
Secure Futures Solar [STAUNTON, VA] has appointed Ryan McAllister to the role of acting Chief Executive Officer effective October 1. McAllister previously served as the company’s Business Development Manager. Anthony Smith steps down from his role as CEO to continue to serve as the company’s President and Founder. McAllister joined the company in June 2019. Previously, McAllister held positions with Sigora Solar and Bank of America.
Submittable [MISSOULA, MT] announced that Thor Culverhouse, former CEO of Skytap, Lighter Capital, and Stratavia, has been appointed the new CEO.Co-founder Michael FitzGerald steps down after 10 years as CEO.
CCS Medical, Inc. [FARMERS BRANCH, TX] announced that the Company has named Tony Vahedian as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 26, 2020. Vahedian joins CCS from Cardinal Health where he most recently served as President of Cardinal Health Canada.
SPI Pharma [WILMINGTON, DL] announced that Scott Thomson has been appointed CEO. Thomson joins SPI Pharma after 29 years with BASF. During his tenure with BASF, Thomson held various leadership roles in both North America and Germany, including Senior VP of BASF’s Global Pharmaceutical Solutions Business. Thomson’s most recent position was Senior VP Care Chemicals Division, North America.
CircleUp [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced that Nick Talwar has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Co-founder Ryan Caldbeck, CEO since the company was established in 2012, will become Executive Chairman. Talwar joined the company as President in July. Prior to CircleUp, Talwar was most recently a partner at Apis Partners. At Uber, Talwar served as the Global Head of Vehicle Supply. Talwar also led Visa’s credit card business in North America where he built the Visa Infinite platform for the U.S. and spent several years at Citi, with his last role as Country Manager for Citibank in Sweden.
Logi Analytics [MCLEAN, VA] announced that it has appointed Kevin Greene as Chief Executive Officer. Steven Schneider will assume the role of Executive Chairman and will continue to serve on Logi’s Board. Greene first joined Logi Analytics in 2013 as Vice President of Business Development and then moved into the COO role in May 2017. Greene started his career at Goldman Sachs and then joined IBM as a program director. Greene has also served as a principal at Flagship Ventures, now Flagship Pioneering, and as a partner at Valhalla Partners.
Haliburton International Foods [ONTARIO, CA] announced that founder Ian Schenkel has stepped down as CEO and that Dan Glick has been named its new CEO. Glick has decades of experience advising businesses in the food and consumer products industries.
Wella Company [CALBASAS, CA] has named Annie Young-Scrivner as the new Chief Executive Officer. Young-Scrivner joins Wella from GODIVA Chocolatier where she served as CEO for the last three years. Prior to GODIVA, Young-Scrivner spent seven years in a number of senior positions at Starbucks Corporation. Young-Scrivner started her career at PepsiCo Inc. where she held senior leadership roles in sales, marketing and general management during her 19-year tenure with the business.
CEDIA [FISHERS, IN] announced that Tabatha O’Connor, Global President and CEO of CEDIA, will depart the association in January. In the interim, O’Connor will transition her duties to the CEDIA board of directors.
ASP Global [ATLANTA, GA] has appointed Doug Shaver as Chief Executive Officer. Shaver served at McKesson for the last 17 years. In addition to McKesson shaver he has led corporate development, sales and marketing functions for medical device and distribution businesses and served as the Chairman of the Health Industry Distributors Association.
SignatureFD [ATLANTA, GA] announced that the company has appointed Heather Robertson Fortner as Chief Executive Officer. Robertson Fortner previously serving as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and President of SignatureFD. Prior to joining SignatureFD in February of 2003, Robertson Fortner was the senior operations supervisor at a local trust company.
Terra Tech Corp. [IRVINE, CA] (OTCQX: TRTC) announced it has appointed Michael Nahass as Chief Executive Officer. Nahass currently serves as Terra Tech’s President, Chief Operating Officer, Secretary and Treasurer as well as a Director, and has been working at Terra Tech since its inception. Nahass takes over the position from Matthew Morgan, who has been CEO since February 2020 as he is stepping down to pursue other interests.
Timberline Resources Corporation [COEUR D’ALENE, ID] (OTCQB: TLRS) announced that Patrick Highsmith has joined the Company as President and Chief Executive Officer. Highsmith has co-founded, and/or acted as a director or senior executive in several junior companies, including Canadian listed companies such as: Lithium One, Bellhaven Copper & Gold, Pure Energy Minerals, Idaho Champion Gold Mines, and FireFox Gold, for whom he is co-founder and chairman of the board. Steven Osterberg, the company’s current CEO will continue with the Company as Vice President Exploration and Director.
Veolia North America [BOSTON, MA] announced that Matt Madeksza has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Madeksza, who earlier held leadership positions with Boeing and United Technologies Corp., has spent the past 14 years with Saint-Gobain Corp. In 2017, Madeksza joined Saint-Gobain’s CertainTeed Corp., where he led Insulation Products Group and Roofing Products Group. Madeksza replaces interim President and CEO Brian Clarke. Clarke, who has also served as VNA corporate counsel and senior executive in charge of corporate development, will remain with the company to lead and support its strategic growth strategy.
Boathouse Sports [PHILADELPHIA, PA] announced that Cindy DiPietrantonio has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. DiPietrantonio is the former President of Alex and Ani, LLC and Chief Operating Officer of The Jones Group where she spent over twenty-five years in senior leadership roles.
Yello [CHICAGO, IL] announced the appointment of Corey Ferengul as Chief Executive Officer. Ferengul has been serving as Executive Chairman for the company since February. Ferengul is currently a board member and investor for Hyde Park Angels and also serves on the board of directors for other companies. Most recently, Ferengul was the executive chairman and CEO of Magnetic. Ferengul also served as CEO of Undertone and held leadership positions at Rovi Corporation, Platinum Technology and Meta Group. Co-founder Jason Weingarten is moving on from day-to-day operations but will remain on Yello’s board and provide strategic guidance.
Destiny Solutions® [TORONTO, ON CAMARILLO, CA] announced the appointment of Brian Kibby as Chief Executive Officer. Kibby brings an exceptional record of growth and digital transformation, including 23 years at two of the world’s largest EdTech and content companies, McGraw-Hill and Pearson. Recently Kibby served as CEO of Knewton. Lance Merker will be transitioning from the CEO role to join the Destiny Solutions Board of Directors, where he will serve in an advisory capacity.
Origin Holdings, Inc. [LAS VEGAS, NV] has selected Justin Saye as the new Chief Executive Officer. Mark L. Black, Origin’s founder and current CEO, will transition to the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Most recently, Saye was Chief Operating Officer at iFood Decision Sciences Inc. Prior to iFood, Saye was Vice President at The Trade Desk. Saye has held senior leadership positions in Agtech, Adtech, Connected Vehicle, and enterprise IT service companies.
Spartech [ST. LOUIS, MO] announced that John Inks has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Inks previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Spartech. Following the company’s divestiture from PolyOne in 2017, Inks was promoted to Vice President of Operations. In 2019, Inks was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
Enclara Pharmacia [PHILADELPHIA, PA] announced the appointment of Mark Morse as Chief Executive Officer. Morse succeeds Andy Horowitz, Enclara founder and CEO, who made plans to move into a strategic advisor role. Before joining Enclara, Morse most recently served as Humana’s vice president of Pharmacy Service Operations. Morse’s previous roles at Humana include serving as practice leader for pharmacy benefit management sales. Morse was also sales director for national and major accounts. Prior to joining Humana in 2001, Morse spent six years with United Healthcare, serving as the business owner for its consumer portal and operations director for health plan and systems migrations.
