AACC [WASHINGTON, DC] announced that it has appointed Mark J. Golden as CEO effective August 17. Prior to joining AACC, Golden served for 7 years as Executive Director and CEO of the National Society of Professional Engineers. Golden began his association career as an editor with the Association of Telemessaging Services International, and since then, he has served in various association leadership roles for the last 35 years. Prior to his time at the NSPE, Golden served as Executive Director and CEO of the National Court Reporters Association from 1998-2012, as Vice President of Government Relations and Senior Vice President of Industry Affairs at the Personal Communications Industry Association from 1991-1998, and as Vice President of the Association of Telemessaging Services International from 1985-1991.
Sienna Senior Living Inc. [MARKHAM, ON] (TSX: SIA) announced the appointment of Nitin Jain as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Jain has also been appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors. Jain has served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Sienna since joining the Company in 2014. Lois Cormack has advised the Board of Directors that she is resigning as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a Board Director.
HanesBrands [WINSTON-SALEM, NC] (NYSE:HBI) announced that it has appointed Stephen B. Bratspies as chief executive officer and board member, effective Aug. 3, 2020. Bratspies will succeed Gerald W. Evans Jr., who previously announced his plans to retire after a 37-year career at HanesBrands. Most recently, Bratspies served as chief merchandising officer at Walmart Inc. His prior leadership positions at Walmart included executive vice president of general merchandise, executive vice president of food, and senior vice president of marketing. Earlier in his career, Bratspies served as chief marketing officer for Specialty Brands, held various management positions at PepsiCo, Inc.’s Frito-Lay North America division, and was a management consultant with A.T. Kearney.
Be The Match® [MINNEAPOLIS, MN] announced the appointment of Amy Ronneberg as chief executive officer. Ronneberg joined Be The Match in 2013 as chief financial officer and chief of staff, and has served as acting CEO since February.
Mediate.com [EUGENE, OR] announced that Colin Rule has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Jim Melamed, the company’s co-founder and CEO will become chair of the board and general counsel. Rule returns to Mediate.com where he served as General Manager in 1999. Rule spun his company OnlineResolution out of Mediate.com in 2000. In 2003 Rule became the first director of ODR for eBay and PayPal. In 2011 he co-founded Modria.com, where he was CEO and COO. Tyler Technologies acquired Modria in 2017, and Rule became Tyler’s first vice president of Online Dispute Resolution.
RedRock Technologies, Inc. [IRVINE, CA] announced the appointment of the company’s Executive Vice President Chad M. Davis to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining RedRock, Davis was most recently Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration with TAE Technologies, Inc.
SCAN Group and SCAN Health Plan [LONG BEACH, CA] announced the appointment of Sachin H. Jain, as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2020. Jain succeeds Chris Wing, who previously announced his departure from the organization. Most recently, Jain served as the president and CEO of CareMore and Aspire Health. Prior to CareMore and Aspire, Jain held senior federal leadership positions in the US Department of Health and Human Services, as part of the founding team at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) and also the senior leadership of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
Datica [MINNEAPOLIS, MN] announced the appointment of Kevin Lynch as its new Chief Executive Officer. Jeremy Edes Pierotti, co-founder, will continue to serve Datica in a new role as President. Most recently, Lynch served as CEO of Netgain.
Miami Beach Medical Group Medical Centers [DORAL, FL] announced that Efrain Duarte will assume the Chief Executive Officer role, and Rodolfo Dumenigo, who is the Founder, is named Chairman of the Board and will assume the role of Chief Medical Officer. Duarte is the former President of Medicare for both Simply and HealthSun.
HC2 Holdings, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: HCHC) announced it has appointed Wayne Barr, Jr. as interim Chief Executive Officer. Barr succeeds Philip A. Falcone. Barr will continue to serve on the recently created Executive Committee of the Board. Barr has served as a director of HC2 since January 2014, as well as serving as a director of certain HC2 subsidiaries. Since March 2019, Barr has been President and CEO of CCUR Holdings, Inc. Barr joined the CCUR board in 2016 and was also Executive Chairman of CCUR until April 2020. Barr is also a member of the board of directors of Alaska Communications Group, Inc.
Discovery Behavioral Health, Inc. [LOS ANGELES, CA] has announced the appointment of Cameron Bolish as Chief Executive Officer of New Hope Ranch, a provider of addiction and mental health services in the greater Austin, TX area. Prior to his appointment at New Hope Ranch, Bolsih held several senior leadership positions with Acadia Healthcare; most recently serving as CEO of Rebound Behavioral Health Hospital.
Outward Hound [DENVER, CO] has announced the promotion of Michael Black to Chief Executive Officer. Black succeeds Outward Hound founder Kyle Hansen, who will transition to a new role as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. Since joining Outward Hound in May 2019, Black served as Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to joining Outward Hound, Black held several Senior Roles at Walmart and Reckitt Benckiser, where he focused on sales, brand building, P&L and category growth.
OnLume Inc. [MADISON, WI] has announced the appointment of James A. Bowman as Chief Executive Officer. Bowman has held senior leadership positions in growing MedTech companies including as CEO, President and Director of public and private medical device companies. Bowman has driven the business development of disruptive technologies in firms such as C.R. BARD, Ohmeda, Surgical Laser Technologies, CloudCath, Encision and PharmaJet.
Employers Holdings, Inc. [RENO, NV] (NYSE: EIG) announced that Douglas Dirks, president and chief executive officer, has informed the board of directors of his intention to retire from his position on April 1, 2021.
Inogen, Inc. [GOLETA, CA] (NASDAQ: INGN) announced that Scott Wilkinson, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and President, has informed the Company’s Board of Directors that he intends to retire as Chief Executive Officer and President, and as a member of the Board, in each case before the end of 2021.
Boston Microfluidics [CAMBRIDGE, MA] announced that it has appointed Linh Hoang as its new Chief Executive Officer. Founder Brandon Johnson has been appointed Chief Innovation Officer of the company. Prior to joining BMF, Hoang was the Vice President of Reproductive Health at PerkinElmer and oversaw the prenatal and neonatal businesses, part of the clinical diagnostics segment. Prior to PerkinElmer, Johnson led the Clinical Quality Controls business at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Red Lion Hotels Corporation [DENVER, CO] (NYSE: RLH) announced John J. Russell, Jr., has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Russell has been serving as RLHC’s interim CEO since December 3, 2019. Prior to joining Red Lion in December 2019, Russell served as President and COO of Sentry Hospitality from October 2017. From March 2016 to July 2017, Russell was the Senior Vice President, Guest Experience, Education and Development, at the Georgia Aquarium, and from January 2012 through February 2016, Russell served as the President of Sentry Hospitality and Sentry Companies. Russell also recently served as Senior Advisor for Ocean Visions, Inc.
Metacrine, Inc. [SAN DIEGO, CA] announced the appointment of Preston Klassen, M.D., MHS as President and Chief Executive Officer. Klassen joins Metacrine from Arena Pharmaceuticals. Prior to Metacrine, Klassen was Executive Vice President, Head of Research and Development at Arena Pharmaceuticals. Before Arena, Klassen served as Chief Medical Officer of Laboratoris Sanifit S.L., and prior to that was Executive Vice President, Head of Global Development at Orexigen Therapeutics, Inc. Earlier in his career, Klassen held several positions of increasing responsibility at Amgen Inc., including Therapeutic Area Head for Nephrology. Prior to joining Amgen, Klassen was a faculty member in the Division of Nephrology at Duke University Medical Center.
Select Interior Concepts, Inc. [ATLANTA, GA] (NASDAQ: SIC) announced that L. W. (Bill) Varner, Jr. has been named Chief Executive Officer. Varner previously served as President and CEO at United Subcontractors, Inc. Tyrone Johnson, who served as CEO and a director of SIC since November 2017, is resigning from both positions by mutual agreement with the Company. Varner is the Chief Executive Officer of Select Interior Concepts. Previously, Varner was CEO of United Subcontractors, Inc. from July 2012 to May 2018. From 2004 to 2012, Varner served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Aquilex Corporation.
Technosoft [SOUTHFIELD, MI] announced that Sean Narayanan has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and will join the Board of Directors of Technosoft. Narayanan joins Technosoft from Atos, where he was a Senior Executive Vice President and CEO of the €4B Business and Platform Solutions division. Prior to Atos, Narayanan was Chief Business Officer at LiquidHub (now Capgemini). Narayanan also spent many years in executive leadership positions at NASDAQ listed firms iGATE (now Capgemini) as Chief Delivery Officer and at Cognizant as Vice President.
Dendreon Pharmaceuticals [SEAL BEACH, CA] announced the appointment of Jason O’Neill as chief executive officer, effective June 1, 2020. O’Neill was previously responsible for leading Sanofi’s oncology portfolio during six of his nine years with the company. O’Neill also recently served as chief executive officer at Iridium Therapeutics. O’Neill has also held a variety of general management and senior new product development roles throughout his career at major pharmaceutical companies including Roche/Genentech, Mallinckrodt, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Pfizer.
Vonage [HOLMDEL, NJ] (NASDAQ: VG) announced that the Company has appointed Rory Read as Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2020. Read will succeed Alan Masarek, who will be stepping down as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Masarek will work closely with Read to assist in the transition. Read joins Vonage from Dell Technologies, where he has most recently served as its Chief Operating Executive and as CEO and President of Virtustream, a Dell Technologies business. Read also has served as Executive Vice President of Dell Technologies Boomi. Before joining Dell, Read served as Chief Executive Officer, President and member of the board of directors of AMD. Previously, Read served as Chief Operating Officer and President at Lenovo. Additionally, Read spent 23 years at IBM, serving in various leadership roles.
ActiGraph [PENSACOLA, FL] has promoted Jeremy Wyatt to Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2020. ActiGraph’s former CEO, Jeff Arnett, has stepped down to assume a new role as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy. Arnett also occupies a seat on the company’s Board of Directors. Wyatt has been with ActiGraph since its inception in 2004. During this time, Wyatt has held multiple hardware and software engineering leadership roles and most recently served as the company’s President and Chief Operations Officer since early 2019.
BioLumic Ltd. [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Steve Sibulkin as Chief Executive Officer. Sibulkin joins BioLumic from Yara International. Before joining Yara, Sibulkin was a multi-time CEO, entrepreneur and strategic advisor, and held leadership positions at Sapient, Ogilvy & Mather, and Mainspring.
Saban Community Clinic [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced the appointment of Muriel Nouwezem as the new CEO effective July 1. Nouwezem stepped in as the interim CEO two years ago. Before her appointment as CEO, Nouwezem served as Chief Financial and Business Services Officer.
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement [BOSTON, MA] announced that Kedar Mate will become its new President and CEO, effective July 1, 2020. Mate, IHI’s current Chief Innovation and Education Officer, will succeed current IHI President and CEO Derek Feeley, who announced in January that after nearly seven years at IHI he would be stepping down.
Geospan Corporation [MINNEAPOLIS, MN] announced that Andrew Zickell has been tapped to serve as Chief Executive Officer. Zickell most recently served as the Sr. Director of Business Development for CoreLogic and has more than forty-two years of industry experience managing small to mid-sized firms.
AccuVein Inc. [MEDFORD, NY] announced that Chris Hutchison has joined the company as CEO and President. Hutchinson has also been named to the company’s Board of Directors. Hutchinson most recently served as President and CEO of Cheetah Medical, which was purchased by Baxter in 2019.
Elemica [WAYNE, PA] announced David Muse as its new chief executive officer. Muse was previously the President and CEO of Enviance. Muse was also COO of P2 Energy Solutions. Muse’s early career was spent in the industrial automation and software space, holding executive positions with Honeywell and Aspen Technology.
digitalundivided [NEWARK, NJ] announced the appointment of Lauren Maillian as Interim CEO. Maillian takes over from digitalundivided’s Founder, Kathryn Finney, who recently resigned as CEO, after courageously leading the organization since its founding in 2012. Maillian is Founder and CEO of the LMB Group. Maillian was the first black woman to start an early-stage venture capital fund, as a founding partner and Managing Director of Gen Y Capital Partners. Maillian began her entrepreneurial journey at age nineteen, as co-founder of an award-winning, internationally recognized winery, Sugarleaf Vineyards. The youngest winery owner in the U.S., Maillian served as Chief Operating Officer through the brand’s acquisition in 2011.
Redwire [BOCA RATON, FL] announced today that Peter Cannito has been named Chairman and CEO. Cannito brings more than 25 years of experience in the defense, technology, and government services industries to Redwire. AE Industrial Partners, LP, a private equity firm specializing in Aerospace, Defense & Government Services, Power Generation, and Specialty Industrial markets, launched Redwire earlier this month through the combination of Adcole Space and Deep Space Systems. Cannito is also an Operating Partner of AEI, and was instrumental in developing the strategy for the Redwire platform. Prior to joining AEI, Cannito served as the CEO of Polaris Alpha. Cannito has spent the last 12 years working as an executive for private equity-backed companies in the defense, technology and government services markets.
