LOGIX Fiber Networks [HOUSTON, TX] announced that Craig L. Collins has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and board member, effective September 15, 2020. Matt Murphy, a Partner at Astra Capital Management, who was the Interim CEO over the past year, will continue in his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Most recently, Collins was a senior executive at Transit Wireless. Previously Collins served in C-level roles at Intermedia Communications, XO Communications and Time Warner Cable. Collins has also served in executive roles at SunGard Availability Services, Verizon (formerly Bell Atlantic) and Kaplan University. Collins currently serves as an Advisor and Member of the Board of Directors of Jarbly University and GroopView. Collins served as a co-chair of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing, a board member of The National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications, and as a senior leader and Executive Sponsor of the Time Warner Cable and Transit Wireless Executive Diversity Committees.
Advanced Micronutrition [ORLANDO, FL] announced the appointment of Faith Son as Chief Executive Officer. Son joins the company from her role advising clients in the Food & Agriculture Practice Area at Clareo Partners. Son is the former Group Vice President, Head of Global Marketing and Innovation at PureCircle.
Unified Power [TERRELL, TX] announced that Eric Reisner has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer. Chris Roach, who has been CEO since 2011, has shifted into a new role as Executive Vice-President of Strategic Business Development.
Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions [ARLINGTON, VA] announced the appointment of Mike Kahn as Chief Executive Officer. Kahn takes over from Shawn Black, who is leaving the business to pursue other opportunities. Kahn most recently served as the Sector VP and General Manager for Weapon Systems at Northrop Grumman, following the acquisition of Orbital ATK where he was President of Defense Systems.
Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation [DENVER, CO] (NASDAQ: HYMC) announced the appointment of Diane R. Garrett as the Company’s President & Chief Executive Officer, effective September 8, 2020. Garrett will also join the Company’s Board of Directors on that same date. Garrett was President, CEO and Director of Romarco Minerals Inc. Romarco was subsequently acquired by OceanaGold in 2015 and Garrett was appointed to the Board of OceanaGold and a member of the Steering Committee for the Haile Gold Mine. Garrett was most recently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Nickel Creek Platinum Corp. since June 2016. Garrett is also a Director of NovaGold Resources Inc. Prior to her time at Romarco, Garrett held numerous senior positions in public mining companies including VP of Corporate Development at Dayton Mining Corporation and VP of Corporate Development at Beartooth Platinum Corporation.
Nexeo Plastics [THE WOODLANDS, TX] announced that Paul Tayler, formerly Vice President, Europe Division, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Interim Chief Executive Officer Michael Modak will transition his responsibilities to Tayler and remain a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. Tayler previously spent nine years at DSM Engineering Plastics, most recently as Vice President Commercial, Asia Pacific. Following his tenure at DSM, Tayler served as Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing at Innovia Films. Tayler began his career at Imperial Chemical Industries and held several positions there, including Commercial Director of Uniqema EMEA.
Wellington Management [BOSTON, MA] announced that Brendan Swords, Chief Executive Officer, will retire from Wellington on 30 June 2021. At that time, Jean Hynes, Managing Partner, will succeed Swords as Chief Executive Officer. Hynes joined the firm in 1991. Since 2014, Hynes has served as one the firm’s three Managing Partners alongside Swords. Hynes is a member of the Investment Committees at Wellesley College and the Winsor School.
Cybin Corp. [TORONTO, ON] announce that Doug Drysdale has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Earlier in his career, Drysdale served as Head of M&A at Actavis Group, between 2004 and 2008. In 2008, Drysdale became the Founding CEO of Alvogen Group.
Indigo Ag [BOSTON, MA] announced that it has selected Ron Hovsepian as its next chief executive officer. Hovsepian will succeed David Perry, who has stepped down from Indigo Ag after serving in the Chief Executive Officer position since December 2014. Hovsepian began his career with IBM that spanned 16 years. After IBM, Hovsepian went on to be CEO of Novell and Intralinks. Hovsepian is also on the Board of Directors of a number of public and private companies. In addition, Hovsepian is an Executive Partner at Flagship Pioneering.
Califia Farms [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced that Dave Ritterbush has been named chief executive officer. Greg Steltenpohl, the company’s founder will retire as CEO and remain on the board as an Executive Director. Ritterbush most recently as president and CEO of Quest Nutrition. Ritterbush has also served as CEO of popchips, and helmed Premier Nutrition Corp. Additionally, Ritterbush served as a vice president and general manager of Red Bull North America and had a long tenure at Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream.
Hearsay Systems [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced that Mike Boese has been named CEO. Clara Shih, who co-founded the company on September 1, 2009, will transition from CEO to Executive Chairperson, remaining on the board of directors. Boese joined Hearsay as COO in Q1, after 25 years of executive leadership at some of the world’s most iconic software companies including Taleo, SAP, PeopleSoft, and Oracle. Most recently, Boese was co-founder and CEO of Plantt and CEO of Certent.
The American Wood Council [LEESBURG, VA] announced Jackson Morrill, President of the Composite Panel Association, as AWC’s new President & CEO, effective September 16. Morrill is succeeding Robert Glowinski, who is retiring at the end of the year after 10 years spent as AWC’s President & CEO. Prior to CPA, Morrill worked at the American Chemistry Council, practiced environmental law at a Beveridge & Diamond, and served as an environmental law consultant at the World Bank.
Medicus Healthcare Solutions [WINDHAM, NH] announced the appointment of Joe Matarese to serve as Medicus’ Executive Chairman. Matarese will transition from his current role as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and transition day-to-day leadership and responsibilities to Medicus’ current Chief Operating Officer, Robert “Bob” Dickey, who has been appoint as CEO of the Company. Dickey served as Chief Operating Officer since August 2017. Before joining Medicus, Dickey served as a Group President at Randstad.
Galectin Therapeutics Inc. [NORCROSS, GA] announced the appointment of current board member, Joel Lewis, to the position of Chief Executive Officer and President. Harold Shlevin is retiring from the CEO position. Shlevin and Lewis will retain their positions on Galectin’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining Galectin Therapeutics, Lewis served for 13 years as the Managing Director of Shareholder Services at Uline, Inc. Before his employment with Uline Inc., Lewis served as Tax and Accounting Manager for Century America LLC from 2001 to 2006. Lewis also worked for the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche from 1998 to 2001.
Sitecore® [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] has named Steve Tzikakis its new CEO. Current CEO Mark Frost will continue as an advisor to Sitecore. Tzikakis spent the last five years as President of SAP’s South Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.
Braingrid Limited [TORONTO, ON] (CSE: BGRD) announced the appointment of Andrew Parks as the Company’s Interim Chief Executive Officer. Parks was previously appointed a director of the Company on April 9, 2020.
XG Sciences, Inc. [LANSING, MI] announced that it has appointed Robert M. Blinstrub as Chief Executive Officer. Philip Rose, CEO of XG Sciences, Inc. for the past six years, has resigned to pursue other interests, but will continue to serve as an advisor to the company. Blinstrub has been an investor in the Company since 2018 and has served as a Member of the Board of Directors since March 2019. Blinstrub was founder, President and CEO of Applied Global Manufacturing, Inc., a company he started in 2000. Boechler joins XGS following a successful 30-year career with General Electric Company.
CSG® [GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO] (NASDAQ: CSGS) announced that Bret Griess, president and chief executive officer of the company has shared his plans to step down at the end of the year, following nearly 25 years of service with the company. Brian Shepherd, executive vice president and group president has been selected to succeed Griess as president and chief executive officer of the company, effective January 1, 2021. In addition, Shepherd will be appointed to the Board on the same date. Shepherd joined CSG in 2016. Prior to joining CSG, Shepherd held a variety of executive roles with companies such as TeleTech, Amdocs, DST Innovis and McKinsey & Company.
LINQ [WILMINGTON, NC] announced the addition of Krista Endsley as Chief Executive Officer. Adam Hooks served as Linq’s CEO since 2018 and has now taken the role of President and General Manager of the LINQ Enterprise business unit. Prior to joining LINQ, Endsley served as CEO for Cantata Health. Before her position at Cantata Health, Endsley served as CEO for Abila. Endsley also held various executive positions in her time with Sage.
Sweetwater Royalties [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of John DeCooman as President and Chief Executive Officer. DeCooman joins Sweetwater from SSR Mining where he ran business development and strategy. Prior to SSR Mining DeCooman has corporate and banking experience at Echo Bay Mines, Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and Standard Bank.
Home Franchise Concepts [IRVINE, CA] announced that H. Scott Barrett has become president and CEO. Barrett had been serving as interim president and CEO of HFC since September 2019. Barrett joined JM Family in 2001 as chief information officer and a member of JM Family’s Executive Management Team. Barrett worked in various capacities at JM Family before becoming president of JMSC, and eventually president of JMsolutions. Prior to JM Family, Barrett worked in franchise management at Republic Industries, AutoNation and Blockbuster Entertainment.
Danaher Corporation [WASHINGTON, DC] (NYSE: DHR) announced that the Company has appointed Rainer M. Blair as President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Blair’s predecessor, Thomas P. Joyce, Jr., retired from these positions and will continue to support Danaher as a senior advisor through February 28, 2021.
NMS Labs [HORSHAM, PA] announced the appointment of Dan T. Monahan as President and Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Monahan served as Vice President and General Manager within Unity Lab Services. Prior to that, Monahan served as Vice President and General Manager of a $1.3 billion global distribution business.
6WIND [SANTA CLARA, CA & PARIS, FRANCE] announced the appointment of Julien Dahan as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Dahan was CEO at Neocase Software. Prior to Neocase, Dahan was Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder at InfoVista. Dahan also held positions as Co-Founder and COO at ARCHE/Siemens and Managing Director, EMEA, at 3Com Corporation.
Seneca Foods Corporation [MARION, NY] (NASDAQ: SENEA) announced the planned retirement of its President, Chief Executive Officer and director, Kraig H. Kayser, on September 30, 2020. Paul L. Palmby has been named to succeed Kayser upon his retirement. Kayser will continue to be an employee to provide transition services through October 31, 2021. Kayser has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since 1993. Palmby has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Seneca Foods since 2006. Prior to that, Palmby served as President of the Vegetable Division of the Company from 2005 to 2006 and Vice President of Operations of the Company from 1999-2004. Palmby joined the Company in March 1987.
Tranzon, LLC [SELMER, TN] announced that Tim Mast has been tapped as president and CEO. Current CEO Tom Saturley will remain chairman of the executive committee. Mast has served as executive vice president of Tranzon Asset Advisors, a Tranzon member company. Mast served in 2018-2019 as president of the National Auctioneers Association, and after that he was chairman of the NAA board.
Tequila Partida [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced the promotion of Steve Lauth to President & CEO of Lauth most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of the company. Lauth started his career with Partida in 2009 as the Director of Finance & Operations.
Duos Technologies Group, Inc. [JACKSONVILLE, FL] (NASDAQ: DUOT) announced that it has appointed Charles “Chuck” Ferry as its new Chief Executive Officer. Ferry assumes the role from Company Founder and Chairman Gianni Arcaini, who will continue to serve in his capacity on the Board of Directors going forward. Prior to joining Duos, Ferry was the Chief Executive Officer for APR Energy. Earlier in his career, Ferry held the role of General Manager for ARMA Global Corporation. Prior to that, Ferry served as Director, Business Development and Operations at Lockheed-Martin.
Seaboard Corporation [MERRIAM, KS] announced that it has appointed Robert L. Steer, the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, to the office of President and CEO, to fill the vacancy previously held by the late Steven J. Bresky. Steer will continue to serve as CFO until a successor CFO is identified and appointed.
U.S. GOLD CORP. [ELKO, NV] announced that Edward M. Karr notified the Board of Directors of U.S. Gold Corp. that he intends to voluntarily relinquish his position as Chief Executive Officer. The Board intends to appoint George Bee to succeed Karr as Chief Executive Officer.
WORTHINGTON INDUSTRIES, INC. [COLUMBUS, OH] announced that John P. McConnell stepped down as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company and became the Company’s Executive Chairman. B. Andrew Rose, the Company’s President, assumed the additional role of CEO.
American Heritage International Inc. [SHERIDAN, WY] announced that Anthony Sarvucci resigned as Chief Executive Officer.
