GeoVera Insurance Holdings, Ltd. [FAIRFIELD, CA] announced that John L. Forney has been appointed as the company’s Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Director’s. Forney succeeds Kevin Nish, who has served as GeoVera’s President and CEO since November 2005. Nish will continue to serve as a member of GeoVera’s Board. Forney joins the company most recently from UPC Insurance, where he served as CEO.
Hooker Furniture Corporation [MARTINSVILLE, VA] (NASDAQ-GS:HOFT) announced that it has elected Jeremy Hoff as the next Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective January 31, 2021 when Paul Toms plans to retire. Toms will remain as Chairman of the Board. Hoff joined Hooker Furniture in 2017 and currently serves as President of Hooker Legacy Brands.
Savills [NEW YORK] announced that Mitchell Rudin has been appointed as Chairman and CEO of Savills North America. Rudin, who joined Savills in 2018 and became President on January 1, 2019, succeeds Mitchell Steir, who has decided to step down. Prior to his role as President of the Company, Rudin served as CEO of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation. Prior to Mack-Cali, Rudin served as CEO and President of U.S. Commercial Operations at Brookfield Office Properties.
World Gym International [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced the appointment of Lewis Stanton as Chief Executive Officer. The previous CEO, Guy Cammilleri, is now non-executive Chairman of the Board. Stanton has been the CEO in multiple companies across several industries. Stanton was the COO and CFO of a prominent publicly traded technology company.
Simplex-USA [FERNLEY, NV] appointed Ron Meskis as Co-Chief Executive Officer. Mark Kaler, the organization’s Interim Chief Executive Officer, who will continue to serve in a Co-CEO capacity. Meskis brings 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, with the last ten years serving as part of executive leadership teams.
Dodge Data & Analytics [HAMILTON, NJ] has appointed Daniel (Dan) McCarthy as the company’s new CEO. Previously, McCarthy held CEO roles at Network Communications, Inc., PRIMEDIA Enthusiast Media, Cowles Business Media, and most recently at Taunton Press.
The Atlas Group [WICHITA, KS] announced that Jim McMullen, formerly Chief Operating Officer of Atlas, has been named Chief Executive Officer. McMullen succeeds Rick Wolf who is retiring after more than 20 years with the Company. Wolf will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors, and McMullen will also join the Company’s Board of Directors. McMullen joined Atlas in 2016. Prior to Atlas, McMullen served as general manager for Joined Alloys and for two Precision Castparts Corp. sites, Cherry Aerospace and SPS Technologies. Prior to PCC McMullen served in multiple leadership roles at Honeywell.
Recruiter.com Group, Inc. [HOUSTON, TX] (OTCQB: RCRT) announced the appointment of Evan Sohn as Chief Executive Officer. Sohn previously served as the Company’s Executive Chairman and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Miles Jennings, the Company’s former CEO and Founder, will continue on as COO. Sohn’s experience has included executive, sales, and management roles at companies such as Veea, Poynt, Verifone, MessageLabs (acquired by Symantec), Omnipod (acquired by MessageLabs), ReefEdge, and others.
VU, powered by VUniverse [NEW YORK] announced that Julie Rieger has been named Chief Executive Officer. Co-founder Evelyn Watters will be taking on a new role as Chief Innovation Officer. Before joining VUniverse, Rieger held a number of senior executive titles at 20th Century Fox Film, from 2008-2019, including President, Chief Data Strategist and Head of Media. Prior to her roles at 20th Century Fox Film, Rieger has held the titles of SVP at Carat USA; and EVP, West Coast at ZenithOptimedia Group.
4R Systems, Inc. [BERWYN, PA] announced Mark Garland to serve as its new President & CEO. Prior to assuming the role of President & CEO, Garland served as Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Solutions at 4R Systems.
Jobs Building Services, LLC [HOUSTON, TX] announced it appointed Eric Crabb as the Company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Crabb most recently served as Executive Managing Director with Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to his role at Cushman & Wakefield, Crabb served as CEO of QSI Facilities which was sold to Cushman & Wakefield in January 2019. Crabb also has 10+ years of facility services experience in managerial roles at ABM Industries.
Aldevron [FARGO, ND] has named Kevin Ballinger as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 13, 2020. Aldevron’s co-founder, Michael Chambers, has been named Executive Chairman of the board. Ballinger joins Aldevron from Boston Scientific, where he served as Executive Vice President and Global President of Boston Scientific’s largest division, Interventional Cardiology.
Braidy Industries [ASHLAND, KY] announced that Don Foster has been appointed Acting President and Chief Executive Officer. Foster will continue to serve as CEO of BridgeConsulting LLC. Foster previously served as an officer of both United States Steel Corporation, and the L.B. Foster Company.
Northern Virginia Technology Council [HERNDON, VA] announced the appointment of Brad Schwartz to the position of Acting President and CEO. The appointment follows Bobbie Kilberg’s planned retirement after nearly 22 years of leading and growing the organization. Following her retirement, Kilberg will assist NVTC as President and CEO Emeritus and Strategic Advisor during the leadership transition period. Schwartz is the former President and CEO of Blue Canopy. Earlier in his career, Schwartz served as Group Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for BearingPoint and Regional Vice President at Oracle Corporation.
Clarify Medical [SAN DIEGO, CA] announced the appointment of John E. Schellhorn as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director. The position had been filled by David F. Hale, the Company’s Chairman, who was named interim President and CEO in March. Hale will continue to serve as the Chairman of the Board. Schellhorn joined Global Kinetics Corporation in 2017 as President, CEO and Board Director. Before becoming President and CEO of GKC, Schellhorn served as President and CEO of Monteris Medical Corporation. Previous to Monteris, John served as the Chief Commercialization Officer for BÂRRX Medical.
The Community Foundation of Broward [FORT LAUDERDALE, FL] announced that Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson as the Community Foundation’s new President/CEO. O’Flannery Anderson comes to the Foundation from Nova Southeastern University, where she has served as Vice President of Advancement and Community Relations since 2013. Prior to joining NSU, O’Flannery Anderson served as Vice President of Community Engagement at Florida Atlantic University and Executive Director of the FAU Foundation.
Two Harbors Investment Corp. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: TWO) announced the appointments of William Greenberg to President and Chief Executive Officer. Thomas Siering will no longer serve as President and CEO; he will remain on the Board of Directors as a non-independent director. Greenberg has served as Vice President and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Two Harbors since January 2020. Greenberg previously served as Co-Deputy Chief Investment Officer from June 2018. Prior to joining Two Harbors in 2012, Greenberg was a Managing Director at UBS AG. Additionally, Greenberg was co-head of trading within the SNB StabFund. Prior to joining UBS, Greenberg was a Managing Director at Natixis NA.
Hudson Technologies, Inc. [PEARL RIVER, NY] (NASDAQ: HDSN) announced that Kevin J. Zugibe, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, passed away. Brian Coleman, President and Chief Operating Officer, will assume the duties of Chief Executive Officer.
Worthington Industries, Inc. [COLUMBUS, OH] (NYSE: WOR) announced that B. Andrew (Andy) Rose, the Company’s President, will become President and Chief Executive Officer, effective Sept. 1, 2020, succeeding long-time Chairman and CEO John P. McConnell who will remain with the Company as Executive Chairman. Rose was named president of Worthington in 2018. Rose joined the Company in 2008 as vice president and chief financial officer.
Neuraptive Therapeutics, Inc. [PHILADELPHIA. PA] announced the hiring of Robert (Bob) S. Radie as Chief Executive Officer. Radie also will serve as Chairman of Neuraptive’s Board of Directors. Radie has held senior executive positions in six companies, including serving as Chief Executive Officer of Zyla Life Sciences, Inc. Transmolecular Inc, and Topaz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Radie also served as Chief Business Officer at Prestwick Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Morphotek, Inc., and Senior Vice President of Strategy and Planning at Vicuron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Radie currently serves on the board of directors of several companies, including Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and Rockwell Medical Technologies Inc.
JConnelly [NEW YORK] promoted its President Ray Hennessey to president and CEO, succeeding founder and current CEO Jennifer Connelly, who becomes the firm’s Executive Committee Chair and Artist-in-Chief. Hennessey previously held senior management positions at Entrepreneur, FOX Business Network, SmartMoney and Dow Jones & Co. Hennessey is currently on the board of directors of the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation.
DeCurtis Corporation [ORLANDO, FL] announced that Derek Fournier has been appointed CEO and President. Founder and former CEO, David DeCurtis, will assume the role of Chairman of the Board. Fournier has been with DeCurtis Corporation for more than 10 years, and has served as President since 2018.
Federos™ [DALLAS, TX] has announced the appointment of Keith Buckley as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Buckley previously served as President and CEO of The Switch Enterprises. Buckley has also served as President and CEO of ASC Signal Corporation, Trusonic and InSight Telecommunications Corporation.
Virsec [SAN JOSE, CA] announced that Dave Furneaux has been appointed CEO. Furneaux will continue to work closely with Virsec’s former CEO Atiq Raza, who will remain at the company as Executive Chairman.Furneaux has served on Virsec’s board since 2014.
Avid Bioservices, Inc. [TUSTIN, CA] (NASDAQ: CDMO) announced that Nicholas Green has been appointed president and chief executive officer, as well as a member of the company’s board of directors, effective July 30, 2020. Green will succeed Rick Hancock who has served as interim president and CEO since May 2019. Hancock will continue to serve on Avid’s board of directors. Green most recently served as president and CEO of Therapure Biopharma. Prior to Therapure, Green held a number of senior management roles, most notably managing director of Nipa Laboratories Ltd., head of the life science division of Clariant International Ltd. in the USA, president and CEO of Rhodia Pharma Solutions Ltd. and president of Codexis, Inc.’s pharma division.
StageIt [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced that it has appointed Stephen White as their new CEO. Founder Evan Lowenstein moves to the role of Executive Chairman. White was previously CEO of rights administration platform Dubset Media Holdings and prior to that was President of data services giant Gracenote.
Anterix [WOODLAND PARK, NJ] (NASDAQ: ATEX) announced its executive leadership succession plan, appointing Anterix’s President Rob Schwartz to succeed Morgan O’Brien as Chief Executive Officer and O’Brien to become Executive Chairman. The succession will be effective July 1, 2020.
Altimetrik [DETROIT, MI] has promoted Raj Sundaresan to Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2020. Raj Vattikuti, Founder and CEO, will take on the role of Executive Chairman. Sundaresan has served as Altimetrik’s Chief Operating Officer since 2017.
Teknova [HOLLISTER, CA] announced the appointment of Stephen Gunstream as chief executive officer. Gunstream succeeds founder and retiring CEO, Ted Davis. Gunstream has nearly 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry, with tenures including Vice President and General Manager for the research and clinical business at BD Biosciences and Chief Commercial Officer at Integrated DNA Technologies.
Hillsides [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced that Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President Stacey Roth has been tapped to succeed President and CEO Joe Costa, who is retiring from Hillsides next year. Roth will assume the role of CEO on July 1 and take on the President role in January, at which point Costa will become President and CEO Emeritus until his retirement in late June 2021.
IntriCon Corporation [ARDEN HILLS, MN] (NASDAQ: IIN) announced that Scott Longval, who has served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer since July 2006 and Chief Operating Officer since 2019, has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2020. Longval will also be appointed to the IntriCon board effective October 1, 2020. Longval will succeed Mark Gorder, who will retire as President and CEO effective September 30, 2020, positions he has held since 2001.
Recovery Ways [MURRAY, UT] announced that Jaime W. Vinck has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Recovery Ways and will be joining the Company in July. Vinck has most recently been CEO of the Sierra Tucson Group.
