Tactile Systems Technology, Inc. [MINNEAPOLIS, MN] (Nasdaq: TCMD) announced that Daniel L. Reuvers has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, effective June 8, 2020, to succeed Gerald R. Mattys who is retiring, as previously disclosed. Reuvers will also join the Board of Directors, effective June 8, 2020, filling a seat created by Mattys’ retirement from the Board, effective that same day. Mattys will serve as a consultant to the Company until June 2021 to ensure a seamless transition. Reuvers comes to Tactile after 12 years with Integra LifeSciences, where he currently serves as EVP and President of Codman Specialty Surgical, Integra’s largest business. Reuvers joined Integra in 2008 as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development in the Surgical Instruments business and was promoted to President of the Acute Surgical business in 2010. He was appointed President of Integra’s Instrument division in 2011.
Belden Inc. [ST. LOUIS, MO] (NYSE: BDC) announced that John Stroup, previously President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors, has been appointed Executive Chairman, and Roel Vestjens, previously Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer and appointed to the Board of Directors. Vestjens joined Belden in 2006 as Director of Marketing for the EMEA region. Since then he held roles of increasing responsibility in Sales and Marketing, Operations, and General Management of Belden’s business units in North America, EMEA, and APAC. Most recently, Vestjens served as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer since July 2019, Executive Vice President, Industrial Solutions since February 2018, and Executive Vice President, Industrial Solutions and Broadcast IT Solutions from January 2017 to February 2018. Vestjens joined Belden from Royal Philips Electronics where he held various European sales and marketing positions.
Innoviva, Inc. [BURLINGAME, CA] (NASDAQ: INVA) announced the appointment of Pavel Raifeld as Chief Executive Officer effective May 20, 2020. Raifeld replaces Geoff Hulme, who served as the Company’s principal executive officer since May 2018. Prior to joining Innoviva Raifeld served on the investment team at Sarissa Capital Management LP. Earlier, Raifeld was a senior member of the healthcare investment banking team at Credit Suisse (USA) LLC. Previously, Raifeld worked as a consultant, primarily specializing in advising biopharmaceutical companies, at McKinsey & Company, Inc. and The Boston Consulting Group Ltd.
Solve M.E. [LOS ANGELES] announced that Oved Amitay has been named as President and Chief Executive Officer as of June 1, 2020. Maryellen Gleason, who has been acting as Interim President and CEO of Solve M.E. for the last year, will step down when Amitay’s appointment begins. Amitay will be leaving his position as Chief Business Officer at CENTOGENE. Prior to CENTOGENE, Amitay served as President and COO of Arrett Neuroscience. Amitay also served as Vice President and Head of Commercial at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, held a long tenure at Genzyme Corporation (now Sanofi Genzyme) as Vice President of Strategic Development, and served as General Manager of the Gaucher Disease and MPS Portfolios.
Memorial Regional Hospital [HOLLYWOOD, FL] the flagship hospital of Memorial Healthcare System, announced that Peter Powers has been named Administrator and Chief Executive Officer. Powers joins Memorial after serving as Chief Executive Officer for St. Anthony Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Colorado. Powers succeeds Zeff Ross Executive Vice President of Memorial Healthcare System and Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Regional Hospital, who retired in December 2019.
The Association for Digital Asset Markets [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Jeffrey Blockinger as its first Chief Executive Officer. Blockinger built out a global legal and compliance department as Chief Legal Officer for Och-Ziff Capital Management Group. Prior to Och-Ziff, Blockinger structured and advised investment advisers, broker-dealers, hedge funds, private equity funds, mutual funds and business development companies at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, Crowell & Moring LLP and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.
IWCO Direct [WALTHAM, MA] announced the appointment of John Ashe as the Chief Executive Officer of, succeeding Jim Andersen. Ashe joins IWCO Direct from Lucas-Milhaupt, a business unit of Steel Partners Holdings L.P., where he was President and Chief Executive Officer since 2018. Ashe was previously Senior Vice President and General Manager at OMG, Inc.
The ENMAX Corporation [CALGARY, AB] announced that Wayne O’Connor has been appointed ENMAX President and Chief Executive Officer effective June 22, 2020. Wayne’s appointment results from an extensive North American recruitment process undertaken by the Board following the June 2019 announcement of the planned departure of ENMAX President and Chief Executive Officer, Gianna Manes. To support a smooth and orderly transition following Wayne’s arrival, Gianna will remain as a member of the ENMAX Board until July 31, 2020. Most recently, O’Connor has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Nova Scotia Power. Prior to this role, Wayne held a series of executive leadership positions across Emera Inc. companies, including President and Chief Operating Officer of Emera Energy, Executive Vice President, Operations for Nova Scotia Power, and Executive Vice President, Business Development and Strategy for Emera Inc.
Sequential Technology International [WINDERMERE, FL] announced that Alex Parker has been named chief executive officer. Parker replaces CEO Kent Mathy, who joined STI in 2017. Parker previously was SVP of Service Delivery Excellence for the Global Operations & Services organization in AT&T Business.
AlivaMab Discovery Services, LLC [SAN DIEGO, CA] announced the planned transition of its chief executive officer from Larry Green to Justin Mika, effective May 6, 2020. Green will become chairman of the board of directors of ADS. Green remains as CEO of Ablexis, LLC and will continue to work closely with the team at ADS. Mika joins ADS from Eurofins DiscoverX, where he was senior vice president of the drug discovery division at Eurofins and General Manager of Eurofins DiscoverX.
Sierra Metals Inc. [TORONTO, ON] (TSX: SMT) announced the appointment of Luis C. Marchese as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2020. Marchese is replacing Sierra Metals’ current President and CEO, Igor Gonzales, who will resign this position effective May 31, 2020. In conjunction with his upcoming appointment as CEO, Marchese will join the Company’s Board of Directors and will work closely with Igor during this transition period. Marchese mostly recently served at Anglo American (22 years). Marchese was Anglo American’s Peru country manager and most notably, during different periods, General Manager of Quellaveco.
Clear Cannabis Inc. [DENVER, CO] announced the company has approved the appointment of Tom Brooksher as the organization’s Chief Executive Officer. Brooksher had previously been appointed interim CEO in February 2020, after running the Cannabis Industry Institute. As the chief learning officer, Brooksher supported CCI in training new manufacturing and distribution partners to operate efficiently and profitably.
Yugabyte [SUNNYVALE, CA] announced the appointment of Bill Cook as Chief Executive Officer. Kannan Muthukkaruppan, co-founder of Yugabyte and founding CEO, takes the role of President, Product Development and will continue to oversee development for the company’s cloud native, open source, distributed SQL database, YugabyteDB, and its commercial products. Prior to Yugabyte, Cook served as President and co-founder of Pivotal Software. Prior to Pivotal, Cook was CEO of Greenplum.
Pearlman Group [LITTLE ROCK, AR] announced that the Company has appointed Scott McLendon as Chief Executive Officer. McLendon will also join the Company’s Board of Directors. McLendon has assumed the responsibilities of outgoing CEO, Dan Davidenko.
Online Tech Stores [RENO, NV] announced the appointment of Dave Mathews as Chief Executive Officer. Mathews will oversee all aspects of OTS’s two business units, SuppliesOutlet.com and SuppliesWholesalers.com. Additionally, as the company works to integrate its recent add-ons, he will assume responsibility for International Toner Corporation and Cartridge World. Mathews has served in leadership roles in public, family and private equity-owned businesses in the U.S., Asia and Europe and has helped grow and build billion-dollar direct channel and ecommerce businesses at L.L. Bean, Dell and Circuit City.
CrossFirst Bankshares, Inc. [LEAWOOD, KS] (NASDAQ: CFB) the holding company for CrossFirst Bank announced that George F. Jones, Jr. will transition his role as President & Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2020, to Mike Maddox, the current President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank. Jones will continue to serve on the Company’s Board of Directors through 2021 and will serve as Vice Chairman. Maddox has served as the Bank President & CEO since 2008 and will continue in that role for the foreseeable future. Maddox joined CrossFirst in 2008 as a Director of the Company and Bank and as the President and Chief Executive Officer of CrossFirst Bank. Prior to joining CrossFirst, he was a Regional President for Intrust Bank.
Plymouth Rock Management Company [WOODBRIDGE, NJ] has named Jeff Briglia as President and Chief Executive Officer. Briglia takes over for Gerry Wilson, who in November announced his plans to retire. Briglia joins Plymouth Rock from Metromile Insurance, where he most recently held the dual positions of Chief Insurance Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Metromile, briglia worked at Allstate in various executive positions in claims and product, most recently as their Senior Vice President of Product Strategy & Transformation. Prior to Allstate, Jeff spent over 14 years at Progressive in several leadership roles.
Exchange Bank [SANTA ROSA, CA] (OTC: EXSR) President and CEO Gary Hartwick announced his retirement as of December 31, 2020. Hartwick joined Exchange Bank in January of 2009 and served as the chief credit officer and chief operating officer before assuming the role of president and CEO in March of 2014. Hartwick has served on the Bank’s Board of Directors since 2014 and will remain on the Board. The Board has named current Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer Troy Sanderson in the succession plan to fill the role of president and chief executive officer. Sanderson will assume the role of president and chief executive officer as of January 1, 2021. Sanderson joined Exchange Bank in October 2018.
The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering [NORTH BETHESDA, MD] announced that Thomas B. Hartman has been appointed as the CEO and President, effective 1 June 2020. Hartman previously held the role of Vice President of GMP Operations, Biopharm CMC, for GlaxoSmithKline. Prior to joining GSK in 2001, Hartman held multiple engineering and operations roles with a major US-based chemical manufacturer, including a five-year expatriate role in the Netherlands and the UK.
BEUMER Corporation [SOMERSET, NJ] Christoph Beumer, Chairman and CEO of BEUMER Group has announced that Joseph “Joe” Dzierzawski has been named President and CEO, effective April 27, 2020. Dzierzawski joins BEUMER from Hatch Metals & Minerals group where, as a senior member of the Hatch metals team, he served as Global Director, Technology & Business Development. Dzierzawski had previously served at SMS, a German market leader where he held a series of positions, eventually serving as President & Chief Executive Officer for SMS USA and Chief Technology Officer for SMS Group, Inc.
Nova Scotia Power Inc. [HALIFAX, NS] announced the appointment of Rick Janega as interim President and CEO effective June 1st, 2020. Current President and CEO, Wayne O’Connor is leaving the organization to pursue a new opportunity. Janega has been a Director on NSPI’s Board for the past two years and his previous roles at NSPI include Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Operations, General Manager of Power Production and Senior Plant Manager at the Trenton and Point Tupper generating stations. Currently, Janega serves as Emera’s Chief Operating Officer, Electric Utilities, Canada, US Northeast and Caribbean, and President and CEO of Emera Newfoundland & Labrador.
Algolia [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of Bernadette Nixon as Chief Executive Officer. Nicolas Dessaigne, Algolia’s co-founder, will transition from the role of CEO and continue to serve as a board member. Nixon most recently served as CEO at Alfresco. Before joining Alfresco, Nixon served as president of SDL plc—a global software and professional services company—after growing its sales team as chief revenue officer. Prior to SDL, Nixon held positions at OpenText as general manager and senior vice president of its BPM Business Unit and Corporate Sales. Nixon was also executive vice president of sales for the Americas at Metastorm, and served in similar roles at CA Technologies, InterQuad and NCR. Nixon also held a position at the United Nations in Geneva, which today would be known as deputy CIO.
AITC [WINTER SPRINGS, FL] has announced the appointment of David E. Gardner to the position of CEO effective March 2, 2020, succeeding Gabriel Ruiz, who will serve as President. Prior to joining AITC, Gardner was CEO/president of his own executive consulting business. Gardner has also held management positions for private companies including Northrop Grumman/PRC, CACI, General Electric Company, RS Information Systems, Inc., STG Inc. and NCI Information Systems, Inc.
Bridge Communities [GLEN ELLYN, IL] announced that Karen S. Wells has been named CEO. Wells will assume this role on June 1, 2020, bringing more than 25 years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience and extensive experience as a committed volunteer, brand ambassador and former board member of Bridge Communities. Wells has held leadership positions with the international McDonald’s Corporation, including serving as VP of US Innovation, VP of US Strategy, VP of Operations, and VP of Nutrition and Menu Development for McDonald’s 13,000 US restaurants.
Jupiter Systems [HAYWARD, CA] announced Sidney Rittenberg as CEO. Prior to arriving at Jupiter, Sidney held positions of Vice President of D Group at Foxconn Technology Group, VP and GM of Greater China for Prysm, Inc., President of the China Office at Kang and Co, and COO of the North Asia Investment Corporation.
