HZO, Inc. [MORRISVILLE, NC] announced today the appointment of James Fahey as Chief Executive Officer. Fahey is an industry veteran, having held leadership positions at Dow, DuPont, Rohm & Haas, and IBM. Most recently he was President of DuPont Electronics & Imaging where he led the integration of Dow Electronic Materials, DuPont Electronics and Communications, and Dow Corning Electronic Materials.
Regional Management Corp. [GREENVILLE, SC] (NYSE:RM) announced that it has promoted Robert W. Beck, the company’s EVP and Chief Financial Officer, to be its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Regional has also appointed Beck to the company’s Board of Directors. Beck succeeds Peter R. Knitzer. Prior to joining Regional as Chief Financial Officer in July 2019, Beck was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Before that, Beck was Chief Operating Officer of Citibank’s US Retail Bank, after previously serving as Chief Financial Officer of Citibank’s US Consumer and Commercial Bank.
Arteza [MIAMI, FL] announced the appointment of Brenda Freeman as Chief Executive Officer. Freeman was most recently Chief Marketing Officer at Magic Leap. Previously, Freeman held senior-level marketing and brand management positions at leading media and CPG companies including National Geographic Channels, DreamWorks, Turner Broadcasting, Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, Pepsi, and Frito Lay.
Cognition Therapeutics, Inc. [NEW YORK] announced that Kenneth I. Moch has stepped down as president and chief executive officer to assume an advisory role. Lisa Ricciardi has transitioned from her position on the Cognition Board of Directors to become acting chief executive officer. Moch will continue to support the company as an advisor and consultant for at least the next year. Before her appointment as acting CEO, Ricciardi served as an advisor at M.M. Dillon. Earlier, Ricciardi was CEO of Suono Bio.
Centennial Resource Development, Inc. [DENVER, CO] (NASDAQ: CDEV) announced that Mark G. Papa is retiring as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Sean R. Smith, current Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed to Chief Executive Officer and to the Board.
Bioventus [DURHAM, NC] announced that Tony Bihl, CEO, is electing to retire on April 30, 2020. As a result, the Bioventus has appointed Ken Reali to assume the role of CEO of Bioventus. Reali will also become a member of the Company’s Board of Managers, effective April 20, 2020. Reali previously served as President and CEO of Clinical Innovations, from June 2015 until its successful sale on February 12, 2020.
Colony Credit Real Estate, Inc. [LOS ANGELES] (NYSE: CLNC) announced that Michael J. Mazzei will be appointed Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company. Andrew E. Witt will transition to Chief Operating Officer of the Company, previously serving as Interim Chief Executive Officer and President. Mazzei has served as a member of the board of directors of Ladder Capital Corp since June 2017. Previously, Mazzei served as President of Ladder Capital from June 2012 through June 2017. From September 2009 to June 2012, Mazzei served as Global Head of the CMBS and Bank Loan Syndication Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to that, Mazzei served as Co-Head of CMBS and Commercial Real Estate Debt Markets at Barclays Capital from March 2004 to June 2009.
TSR, Inc. [HAUPPAUGE, NY] (Nasdaq: TSRI), announced that it has appointed Thomas Salerno as President, CEO and Treasurer of the Company. Previously, on January 27, 2020, Mr. Salerno had been named Acting CEO of TSR. Since 2011, Salerno has served as the Managing Director of TSR Consulting Services, Inc., the Company’s IT consulting services subsidiary and largest business unit. Prior to joining the Company, Salerno spent eight years at Open Systems Technology as Associate Director, two years as Vice President of Sales and Recruiting for Versatech Consulting, and three years as an Account Representative for Robert Half Technologies.
Green Dot Corporation [PASADENA, CA] (NYSE: GDOT) announced that Dan Henry has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and President. Henry will also join the Board of Directors. Henry succeeds William I. Jacobs, who has served as interim Chief Executive Officer since January 2020. Jacobs will remain Board Chair, a position he’s held since 2016. Henry previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Netspend from 2008 to 2014. Henry has also co-founded Euronet Worldwide. Henry served as President and Chief Operations Officer at Euronet until the end of 2006, and remained on its Board until 2008.
Armed Forces Insurance [LEAVENWORTH, KS] announced that Arlen Briggs, currently AFI’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer, will succeed Kurt Seelbach as President and Chief Executive Officer effective March 15, 2020. Seelbach has served for the past 12 years as AFI’s President and CEO and will be retiring in 2020. As part of the planned succession process, Seelbach will continue to serve in an executive advisory role until he retires in mid-July, 2020. Briggs joined AFI in 1994 as the Assistant Vice President, Finance and Accounting. Briggs currently sits on the Board of Directors for AFIA, he has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2010, Chief Risk Officer since 2012 and as AFI’s Executive Vice President since 2017.
Derive Systems [BROOMFIELD, CO] announced that the Company has appointed H. John Oechsle as Chief Executive Officer. Before joining Derive, John spent more than 7 years as the President, and CEO of Swiftpage.
REV Group, Inc. [MILWAUKEE, WI] (NYSE: REVG) announced that Timothy Sullivan is departing as CEO and as a member of the Board of Directors. Replacing Sullivan, the board of directors appointed Rodney N. Rushing as Chief Executive Officer. Rushing will also join REV Group’s board of directors. Prior to joining REV Group, Rushing most recently served as President, Building Solutions North America at Johnson Controls Inc.
Urovant Sciences [IRVINE, CA] (Nasdaq: UROV) announced the appointment of Jim Robinson to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Robinson will continue his service as a member of the Urovant Board of Directors. Robinson is succeeding Urovant’s founding CEO Keith Katkin, who will transition to the role of advisor to the Urovant Board for the next five years. Robinson joins Urovant from Paragon Biosciences where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer, and also served as CEO of Qlarity Imaging, a Paragon portfolio company. Prior to joining Paragon, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Alkerme. Previously, Robinson was President of Americas Operations at Tokyo–based Astellas Pharma.
Access-Power, Inc. [GRAND HAVEN, MI] announced that the company has hired Stephane Bontemps as its new CEO.
White Glove [BIRMINGHAM, MI] has hired Evan Kramer as CEO. Kramer most recently served as CEO of KnowFully Learning Group. Kramer started his career at PricewaterhouseCooper before joining Cox Enterprises New Media Group. Kramer later became CMO for several venture-backed digital start-ups and technology companies such as Neat, LifeShield and VacationRoost.
Groupon [CHICAGO, IL] announced that Rich Williams is no longer serving as CEO and that Aaron Cooper, Groupon’s President of North America, has been appointed interim CEO by the Board of Directors. Cooper was the company’s first chief marketing officer and also ran the Travel and Goods businesses before assuming his current role. Prior to joining Groupon, Cooper held a variety of marketing and leadership positions at Orbitz and optionsXpress as well as consulting roles at AEG Partners, AOL and Price Waterhouse Management Consultants.
TuneCore [NEW YORK] announced that CEO Scott Ackerman will step down from his role effective April 15, 2020. Ackerman joined TuneCore as President and COO in 2010 and was promoted to CEO in 2012. Prior to joining TuneCore, he held executive operations positions at eHarmony, Orbitz, US Airways and American Airlines.
Tassat [NEW YORK] has appointed Krishna Prasad to be its new CEO. Prasad joins Tassat with a lengthy track record of operational excellence and leadership at major financial institutions and FinTech startups. Most recently, Prasad was the founder of Kavery Advisors, a consulting firm primarily focused on private equity and venture investments for Financial Services & FinTech in India. The roles he has held in the past include: Head of Alternative Investment Products at TIAA, Head of Alternative Investments at BBVA, Co-Head of Institutional Services at Morgan Stanley, and Head of Operations for Deutsche Asset Management. Prasad was Partner & COO at S3 Partners, a successful start-up that provided portfolio financing & data analytics to investment firms.
