Gap Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO] (NYSE: GPS) announced that it has named Sonia Syngal, as the company’s next chief executive officer, effective March 23. Syngal will also join the Gap Inc. Board of Directors. Since joining Gap Inc. in 2004, Syngal has served in key leadership and general management roles including Managing Director for the company’s Europe business, Senior Vice President for Gap Inc.’s International division and International Outlet division.
Saia, Inc. [JOHNS CREEK, GA] (NASDAQ: SAIA) announced that effective April 28, 2020, Fritz Holzgrefe will become President and Chief Executive Officer. Rick O’Dell, Saia’s CEO since 2006, will remain with the Company assuming the role of non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Holzgrefe joined Saia in 2014 after serving as chief financial officer and leading the international division of a large commodity processing and distribution business.
Barrett Business Services, Inc. [VANCOUVER, WA] (NASDAQ: BBSI) announced the retirement of Michael Elich as Chief Executive Officer. Elich is also retiring from the company’s Board of Directors. Gary Kramer, BBSI’s current Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed CEO.
Extraction Oil & Gas, Inc. [DENVER, CO] (NASDAQ: XOG) announced that Mark Erickson, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, is departing from the Company. Matt Owens has been named permanent CEO and will also maintain his roles as President and member of the Board. Owens currently serves as President and has been acting CEO of the Company since April 2019 and is a member of the Board. Prior to founding the Company in 2012 with Erickson, Owens served as an Operations Engineer at PDC Energy and Gasco Energy.
Western Digital Corp. [SAN JOSE, CA] (NASDAQ: WDC) announced that David Goeckeler has been appointed chief executive officer and a member of the Western Digital Board of Directors. Goeckeler succeeds Steve Milligan, who previously announced his intended retirement. Goeckeler currently serves as executive vice president and general manager of Cisco’s $34 billion Networking and Security Business.
Neuronetics, Inc. [MALVERN, PA] (NASDAQ: STIM) announced that the Company and Christopher A. Thatcher, President and CEO of Neuronetics, have mutually agreed that Thatcher will cease serving as the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer and has resigned as a director of the Company’s Board of Directors.
Form Technologies [CHARLOTTE, NC] announced the appointment of Mike Grunza as the organization’s next Chief Executive Officer. Grunza most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer for GKN Aerospace, Aerostructures North America Division, in addition to having previously served in many senior management roles across multiple business units at GE, including GE Power and GE Aviation.
Aspen Surgical Products, Inc. [CALEDONIA, MI] has appointed Jason Krieser as their new Chief Executive Officer. Krieser served over the past seven months as interim CEO. Krieser’s most recent role was Vice President and General Manager of Allen.
AnchoRock Solutions, Inc. [SAN JOSE, CA] announced that Taylor Thorn has been appointed as AnchoRock’s new chief executive officer. Thorn has served as AnchoRock’s Director of Business Operations since March 2018.
daVinci Payments [CHICAGO, IL] announced the Company has appointed David Josephs as Chief Executive Officer. Josephs will assume the role on or before March 30, 2020 and will join daVinci’s Board of Directors, replacing Braven Imai, who is retiring as CEO and board member. For the last five years, Josephs has been at Visa where he served as head of Debit and Prepaid in North America as well as leading Product Delivery for Merchants and Acquirers in Europe. Most recently, Josephs led Visa’s emerging push payments business (Visa Direct) in Europe.
YayYo, Inc. [BEVERLY HILLS, CA] (OTC: YAYO) has appointed Ramy El-Batrawi as chief executive officer and a member of its board of directors. Boyd Bishop will step down from his role as president and has agreed to serve as a consultant to the Company going forward. El-Batrawi is the original founder of YayYo and served as its CEO until February 2019. El-Batrawi is also the founder of X, LLC.
UNITY Biotechnology [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of Anirvan Ghosh as CEO and member of the Board of Directors, effective March 30, 2020. Current UNITY CEO, Keith Leonard, will be leaving his operating role due to personal circumstances, but will continue as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Ghosh joins UNITY from Biogen, where he served as Senior Vice President, Head of Research and Early Development. Prior to his time at Biogen, Ghosh served as founding CSO at E-Scape Bio, and Global Head of Neuroscience Discovery and Biomarkers at Roche.
Armanino Foods of Distinction, Inc. [HAYWARD, CA] (OTCP: AMNF) announced that Edmond J. Pera, President and Chief Executive Officer of Armanino Foods of Distinction, Inc. has announced his retirement as President and CEO effective in mid-March. Pera, who will turn 80 this year, has served as President and CEO since 2009 after having served as CFO and COO since 2003 and a director since 2000. Succeeding Pera will be Timothy W. Anderson. Anderson will also join the Armanino board. Most recently Anderson served as Senior Vice President at Challenge Dairy.
SmartBear [SOMERVILLE, MA] announced the promotion of Frank Roe to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Roe succeeds Justin Teague, who has decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer of and will continue to contribute to the company’s growth as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Roe joined SmartBear in 2018 as Chief Revenue Officer, following a successful career in senior leadership positions at Oracle, Progress Software, and other leading software organizations.
Seersite [NEW YORK] announced that it has acquired StreetReader, the curated communications platform for executives. As part of the transaction, Boris Markovich, founder and CEO of StreetReader, has joined Seersite as CEO. Prior to StreetReader, Boris was the Head of Research and Corporate Products at Bloomberg, and GM and Head of Research Products at Thomson Reuters.
PowerReviews [CHICAGO, IL] announced the appointment of Mark Dillon as chief executive officer. Mark initially joined PowerReviews in May 2019 as senior vice president of sales and was quickly promoted to chief revenue officer late last year. Prior to joining PowerReviews, Dillon served as a senior vice president of Spiceworks.
Colliers International [TORONTO, ON] (NASDAQ/TSX: CIGI) announced that Brian Rosen, currently Chief Operating Officer | Canada, will succeed David Bowden as President & Chief Executive Officer | Canada, effective March 31, 2020. Bowden will transition to a new role as CEO, Colliers Real Estate Strategy & Consulting.
eSight Corporation [TORONTO] announced the appointment of Robert Vaters as President and CEO effective February 3rd. Vaters joins eSight from Newport Board Group where he served as a partner in the healthcare practice focusing on medical device companies. Prior to Newport, Vaters served as CEO of Orthofix International.
The Daniels Fund [DENVER, CO] Linda Childears announced today that she will retire as president and CEO of the Daniels Fund on April 30. Upon her retirement, Childears will be recognized as the Daniels Fund’s President Emeritus.
Jazz Networks [WASHINGTON, DC] announced Joel Brunson has joined as CEO of Federal business. Brunson joins Jazz Networks from Acano, which was acquired by Cisco. Before Acano, Brunson led teams at Black Box Video, Tandberg, and Avaya.
KBI Biopharma, Inc. [DURHAM, NC] announced that Dirk Lange will take over as president and chief executive officer. Lange has more than 20 years of experience in the biopharma industry, most recently serving as KBI’s chief operating officer.
New England Peptide [GARDNER, MA & LOUISVILLE, KY] announced the appointment of Martina Diekmann to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Martina Diekmann has previously held several global management positions with leading, world-class CDMOs, including the Bachem Group and Solvias AG.
Integrity Bio [THOUSAND OAKS, CA] has announced the promotion of Michael Reilly as their new Chief Executive Officer. Founder, owner and previous CEO, Byeong Chang, will continue as Chief Scientific Officer. During his time at Integrity Bio, Reilly has served as VP of Business Development and led the company’s Excelse Bio high-concentration formulation technology division. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Baxter BioScience and Amgen.
