The Walt Disney Company [BURBANK, CA] (NYSE: DIS) announced that Bob Chapek has been named Chief Executive Officer. Chapek most recently served as Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. Robert A. Iger assumes the role of Executive Chairman. From 2011 to 2015, Chapek was President of the former Disney Consumer Products segment. Prior to that, Chapek served as President of Distribution for The Walt Disney Studios. He also served as President of Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. Before joining Disney in 1993, Chapek worked in brand management at H.J. Heinz Company and in advertising at J. Walter Thompson.
Harley-Davidson, Inc. [MILWAUKEE, WI] (NYSE: HOG) announced that Matthew Levatich has stepped down as President and CEO and as a member of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors has appointed current Board member Jochen Zeitz as Acting President and CEO. As part of this leadership change, Zeitz has also been named Chairman of the Board and will remain Chairman once a new CEO is appointed. Zeitz has been a member of the Harley-Davidson Board of Directors since 2007 and established the Company’s Brand and Sustainability Committee. Zeitz served as Chairman and CEO of the sporting goods company PUMA from 1993 to 2011. He was also PUMA’s CFO from 1993 to 2005. Zeitz served as a director of luxury goods company Kering from 2012 to 2016.
Mastercard [PURCHASE, NY] (NYSE: MA) announced that Ajay Banga, President and Chief Executive Officer, will transition to the role of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mastercard Incorporated on January 1, 2021. Mastercard’s Board unanimously elected Michael Miebach, Chief Product Officer, to become Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors on January 1, 2021 and, as part of the transition, he will become President of the company.
Coty Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: COTY) announced that Pierre Denis will succeed Pierre Laubies as Chief Executive Officer of Coty. Denis has served on Coty’s Board of Directors since September 2019. Since July 2012, Denis has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Jimmy Choo Group Limited.
Trex Company, Inc. [WINCHESTER, VA] (NYSE: TREX) announced that it has elected Bryan H. Fairbanks, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, to the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. Fairbanks will assume his new roles on April 29, 2020 coinciding with James E. Cline’s planned retirement from the President and CEO positions. On that date, Cline will assume the position of Chairman of the Board. Fairbanks joined Trex in 2004 as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout his tenure at the Company. In 2006 Bryan moved into operations as the Senior Director of Supply Chain and was promoted to Executive Director of International Business Development in 2012. In 2015, Fairbanks was named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and became Executive Vice President in July of 2018.
Kloudspot [SUNNYVALE, CA] announced that Guillermo “G” Diaz, Jr. has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Diaz held multiple roles within Cisco over an impressive 20-year tenure. These roles included Cisco’s Global Chief Information Officer and most recently as its Head of Customer Digital Transformation. Prior to Cisco, Diaz held senior leadership positions with some of tech industry’s most respected companies, including Silicon Graphics, Intelligent Electronics (Ingram Micro), and Alza Corporation (Johnson & Johnson).
Thomson Reuters [TORONTO, ON] (TSX/NYSE: TRI) announced that Steve Hasker has been appointed president and chief executive officer, succeeding Jim Smith, the current president and chief executive officer. Hasker has also been appointed to the Thomson Reuters Board of Directors, with Smith stepping down as a director. Hasker served as global president and chief operating officer of Nielsen before joining TPG, first as CEO of its portfolio company, CAA Global, and then as senior adviser to TPG Capital.
Ness Digital Engineering [TEANECK, NJ] announced that Ranjit Tinaikar has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Tinaikar replaces Paul Lombardo at the Company. Most recently, Tinaikar served as President of Fitch Solutions. Prior to Fitch, Tinaikar was Managing Director of Advisory & Investment Management, a data analytics business unit of Thomson Reuters.
Conduent Incorporated [FLORHAM PARK, NJ] (Nasdaq: CNDT) announced that it has selected Clifford Skelton to become Chief Executive Officer, effective February 25, 2020. Skelton has been serving as Conduent’s interim CEO for seven months and will continue as a member of Conduent’s Board. Skelton joined Conduent from Fiserv Corporation where he was Group President and Chief Information Officer and subsequently President, Fiserv Output Solutions.
Inscape [HOLLAND LANDING, ON] (TSX: INQ) announced that Eric Ehgoetz will be appointed Chief Executive Officer. Ehgoetz will be taking over from Brian Mirsky who has served as CEO since 2017. Mirsky will remain on the Board. Ehgoetz has been a Board member since 2016 and is currently the Chair of the Audit Committee and serves on both the Human Resources & Compensation Committee and the Corporate Governance & Nominating Committee. Since 2016, Ehgoetz has been the President and Founder of TEV Capital Corporation.
Envision Healthcare [NASHVILLE, TN] announced the appointment of James “Jim” Rechtin as President and Chief Executive Officer and to join Envision’s Board of Directors. Rechtin joins Envision from the healthcare services company OptumCare where he served as President. Rechtin was previously Regional President of DaVita Medical Group.
Tandigm Health [WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, PA] announced that Frank Ingari, President and Chief Operating Officer will be promoted to Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2020. Anthony Coletta will transition from his current position as CEO to the role of Executive Chairman.
S’well [NEW YORK] announced that Founder Sarah Kauss has appointed Hugh Rovit as Chief Executive Officer. Kauss will take on the role of Executive Chairwoman. Rovit joins S’well after serving as CEO at Ellery Homestyles and previously, he was CEO of Sure Fit Inc. Rovit also held Chief Financial Officer positions with Best Manufacturing and Royce Hosiery Mills.
Royal Cup, Inc. [BIRMINGHAM, AL] announced that Chip Wann has been named president & chief executive officer. Wann joined Royal Cup in 2017 as chief financial officer and was named the company’s first chief operating officer in April 2019. Prior to his tenure at Royal Cup, Wann served as the chief operating officer and chief financial officer for Birmingham-based Mspark. Former President and CEO, Bill Smith III, will transition to a new role within the organization, serving as a Director and Strategic Advisor.
ImageWare® Systems, Inc. [SAN DIEGO, CA] (OTCQB: IWSY) announced that Kristin A. Taylor has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer. Jim Miller, who served as CEO of ImageWare Systems, is now appointed as Executive Chairman of the Board. Taylor recently held executive roles at both MediaTek and IBM where she served as Vice President, Worldwide Analyst Relations.
Discovery Data [EATONTOWN, NJ] announced the appointment of Robert Skea as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Skea was a Managing Partner and Founder of Decklor Consulting Group. Prior to that role, Skea led all revenue and client engagement at Dun & Bradstreet as the Head of Americas.
Wind River® [ALAMEDA, CA] announced that it has appointed Kevin Dallas to the role of Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Dallas succeeds Jim Douglas, who has decided to step down as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Douglas will continue to advise Wind River and TPG Capital during a transition period. Dallas most recently served as the Microsoft Corporate Vice President for Cloud and AI Business Development. Prior to joining Microsoft in 1996, Dallas held roles at NVIDIA Corporation and National Semiconductor in the U.S., Europe, and Israel.
Choice Logistics [NEW YORK] announced that the company has named Matthew McKeever as its Chief Executive Officer. McKeever joined Choice as EVP, Chief Financial Officer in 2015. In 2016, McKeever was promoted to EVP, Chief Operating Officer, and advanced to President in 2018.
eNeura, Inc. [BALTIMORE, MD] announced that Donald Pearl has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Pearl served as the Vice President, U.S. Sales and Marketing at IPSEN Biopharmaceuticals. Earlier, Pearl served in multiple roles at Allergan, including Vice President of U.S. Neuroscience Sales during the launch of the chronic migraine indication for BOTOX®; Vice President, U.S. Sales Operations and Vice President, Medical Reimbursement.
AccelerEd [BETHESDA, MA] announced the appointment of Wendy Colby as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Colby served in a variety of senior executive roles at Laureate Education. Colby joined Laureate Education in 2014 to lead the development, advancement and commercialization of a portfolio of network-wide digital solutions and learning innovations. Prior to Laureate Education, Colby was the Chief Marketing and Products Officer at Carnegie Innovations/Carnegie Mellon University.
Air Transport Services Group, Inc. [WILMINGTON, OH] (NASDAQ: ATSG) announced that Joe Hete will retire as chief executive officer on May 7, 2020. Hete is expected to remain a member of ATSG’s Board of Directors and to be elected Chairman of the Board upon his retirement. Rich Corrado who was elected president of ATSG effective September 16, 2019, will become President and CEO and will be nominated for election to ATSG’s Board of Directors.
Reed’s Inc. [NORWALK, CT] (Nasdaq: REED) announced the appointment of Norman E. Snyder, Jr., currently Chief Operating Officer, as Reed’s Chief Executive Officer effective March 1, 2020. Snyder has served as Chief Operating Officer of Reed’s Inc. since September 2019. Prior to joining Reed’s, Snyder served as President and Chief Executive Office for Avitae USA, LLC. Prior to Avitae, he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer for Adina For Life, Inc. Snyder was also the President and Chief Executive Officer of High Falls Brewing Company, Chief Operating Officer of Rheingold Brewing Company, and Chief Financial Officer, and later Chief Operating Officer of South Beach Beverage Company, known as SoBe. Snyder will succeed John Bello, who has served as Reed’s Interim Chief Executive Officer since September 2019. Bello will continue to support Reed’s as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Dispatch [BOSTON, MA] announced that Patrick Burns has joined the company as its new President and CEO. Avi Goldberg, Dispatch’s founder and CEO for the past seven years, will continue his involvement as the company’s Chief Strategy Officer. Burns most recently served as SVP of Product at ClickSoftware, and previously spent 11 years at Autotask, where he served in several roles including VP of Product and Strategy.
Liquidnet [NEW YORK] Seth Merrin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer announced that President Brian Conroy would succeed him as CEO. Conroy joined Liquidnet in February 2019 after a career at Fidelity Investments. He was the President of Fidelity International in London, after serving as President for Fidelity Capital Markets and Global Head of Equity Trading in Boston for FMR.
Robert R. McCormick Foundation [CHICAGO, IL] announced that David Hiller will retire after ten years as President and CEO and will be succeeded by Timothy P. Knight. Knight will assume his new responsibilities on March 30. Hiller will serve as an advisor to the McCormick Board through the end of the year. Until earlier this month, Knight served as CEO, President, and a member of the Board of Tribune Publishing Co. Knight previously served as President and CEO of Newsday Media Group and Publisher of Newsday. Prior to Newsday, Knight held a number of senior management positions at Tribune Company and the Chicago Tribune.
DefenseStorm [ALPHARETTA, GA] announced Harold Brewer, CEO and co-founder of DefenseStorm, has announced plans to retire effective March 31 after nearly 6 years with the company. Throughout his tenure with DefenseStorm, Brewer held numerous strategic roles and will continue to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. Current President Steve Soukup will assume the President and CEO role. In addition, Jack Daly has been named Chief Sales Officer.
Association of Energy Services Professionals [PHOENIX, AZ] announced that Jennifer Szaro will assume the role of President and CEO beginning April 6, 2020. Szaro replaces John Hargrove who is retiring after more than 40 years in the energy industry and six years of serving as AESP’s CEO. Prior to joining AESP, Szaro was with the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) for five years as its Vice President of Research and Education. Szaro also spent nine years as the Renewable Energy Manager for the Orlando Utilities Commission.
r21 Holdings, Inc. [WARRENDALE, PA] announced Michael Appel has returned to his consulting practice and will no longer serve as Chairman of the Board and CEO. The Board has named John Fleming as interim CEO of rue21. Fleming has been an active board member of r21 Holdings, Inc. since October 2017Fleming has held executive positions at Dayton Hudson, Walmart and Uniqlo.
The SSI Group [MOBILE, AL] announced that Diana Allen has been named the new president and CEO of the company. Allen replaces longtime president and CEO Jimmy Lyons. Lyons has been with The SSI Group for 23 years, serving as president and CEO since 2012. Allen most recently served as executive consultant for large physician and health system medical groups for Culbert Healthcare Solutions and is an adjunct professor of healthcare administration for Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH.
