CannTrust Holdings Inc. [VAUGHAN, ON] (TSX: TRST) announced the appointment of Greg Guyatt as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. Guyatt, the Company’s current Chief Financial Officer, as Chief Executive Officer replaces interim CEO Robert Marcovitch, who will both remain with the Company as non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and resume his role as a member of the Special Committee. Guyatt, joined CannTrust in February 2019 as Chief Financial Officer. Guyatt previously served as the CFO of GreenSpace Brands, Inc.
IDACORP, Inc. [BOISE, ID] (NYSE:IDA) President and Chief Executive Officer and Idaho Power Company Chief Executive Officer Darrel T. Anderson announced today his intent to retire on June 1, 2020. The Board of Directors of IDACORP, Inc. and Idaho Power Company appointed Lisa Grow to succeed Anderson, effective June 1, 2020, and appointed her to the IDACORP and Idaho Power Board of Directors. Anderson will remain on the board of directors after his retirement. Grow, who has worked for Idaho Power for more than 32 years, was named President of Idaho Power in October 2019. In 2017, Grow was named the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
Slate Retail REIT [TORONTO] (TSX: SRT.U) announced that David Dunn, current Chief Operating Officer of the REIT has been named as Chief Executive Officer. The move will be effective on March 12, 2020, the date Greg Stevenson will retire from the company. Dunn joined Slate Asset Management as a Director in 2015 and previously worked as a broker and portfolio manager of CBRE Group, the global real estate services and investment firm.
TARGET PharmaSolutions [DURHAM, NC] announced the appointment of Neal Bibeau as Chief Executive Officer. Bibeau recently served as the President and CEO of Symphony Health Solutions.
Anika Therapeutics, Inc. [BEDFORD, MA] (NASDAQ: ANIK) announced that Cheryl Blanchard, a member of the Company’s Board of Directors since August 2018, has been named interim Chief Executive Officer, while the Board continues its search to identify a new CEO following the recent passing of Joseph Darling. Blanchard served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Microchips Biotech, Inc. From 2000 to 2012, she served in various officer positions of Zimmer, Inc., including as the Senior Vice President, Corporate Chief Scientific Officer and General Manager of its Biologics Business.
MGM Resorts International [LAS VEGAS, NV] (NYSE:MGM) announced that Jim Murren has informed the Company that he will step down from his position as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company prior to the expiration of his contract. Murren will continue to serve in his current leadership roles until a successor is appointed.
Joel Isaacson & Co. LLC [NEW YORK] announced today that David Peltz was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of JICO, effective February 1, 2020. Joel Isaacson, founder of JICO, will continue as Chairman. Peltz has been with JICO for eighteen years, and was made a partner in 2012.
Orthopaedic & Neurosurgery Specialists [GREENWICH, CT] announced that Timothy F. Corvino has been named Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1. Most recently, Corvino served as Chief Operating Officer of Covenant Physician Partners. Prior to Covenant, Corvino served as President, Integrated Acute Care for U.S. Acute Care
Better Choice Company, Inc. [NEW YORK] (OTCQB: BTTR) announced the appointment of Werner von Pein, as Chief Executive Officer. In addition, Damian Dalla-Longa has resigned as Chief Executive Officer to become Executive Vice President of Corporate Development.
Toronto Innovation Acceleration Partners [TORONTO] announce the appointment of Parimal Nathwani as TIAP’s new President and Chief Executive Officer effective April 1, 2020. Nathwani succeeds Raphael Hofstein who has served as the organization’s leader since 2009. Nathwani, who currently serves as TIAP’s Vice President, has been with the organization since its inception in 2009.
EyeKor, Inc. [MADISON, WI] announced that Yijun Huang has been appointed as its new chief executive officer. Huang previously held the positions of president and chief technical officer at EyeKor. Christopher Murphy, co-founder of EyeKor, is stepping down from the CEO position to focus on endeavors.
The Civic Consulting Alliance [CHICAGO, IL] announced Rebekah Scheinfeld as its new Chief Executive Officer and President. Scheinfeld will succeed Brian Fabes, effective March 16, 2020. Scheinfeld most recently served more than five years as Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Transportation.
Othot [PITTSBURGH, PA] announced that Fred Weiss has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer effective February 10, 2020. Andy Hannah, the founding CEO, will continue to be an evangelist for the Othot Platform. Weiss was most recently the Chief Research and Data Officer of CASE. Prior to joining CASE, he was the president and CEO of iModules. Weiss also spent 20 years at Ellucian.
Vacasa [PORTLAND, OR] announced it has appointed Matt Roberts as interim chief executive officer. This appointment follows founder Eric Breon’s decision to initiate a search for a CEO to lead the company’s next phase of growth. Breon will remain on Vacasa’s board of directors. Roberts previously was ar OpenTable , where he served as CFO from 2005 to 2011 and CEO from 2011 to 2015.
Capture [LOUISILLE, KY] has named Leonard Napolitano as chief executive officer. Before joining Capture in early 2019, Napolitano was a leader at multiple ed tech companies including Parchment, Blackboard and Presidium Learning. Capture’s co-founder and former CEO, Steve Huey, is now the executive board member.
Capital BlueCross [HARRISBURG, PA] announced that Gary D. St. Hilaire will leave his position as president and April 6. The Capital BlueCross Board of Directors has appointed Todd A. Shamash as the company’s acting CEO, effective upon St. Hilaire’s departure. Shamash currently serves as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
MGP Ingredients, Inc. [ATCHISON, KS] (Nasdaq:MGPI) announced Chief Executive Officer Gus Griffin’s plans to retire from the Company and its Board on May 21, 2020. The Board named David Colo as President and Chief Operating Officer effective March 16 until he assumes the role of CEO upon Griffin’s retirement in May. Colo has served on the MGP Board since 2015 and will remain a director of the Company. Colo has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of SunOpta Inc. and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Diamond Foods, Inc. Previously, Colo served in leadership roles in the consumer products division of Con-Agra Foods, Inc., and with Nestle-Purina Pet Care Company.
GenMark Diagnostics, Inc. [CARLSBAD, CA] (NASDAQ: GNMK) announced that Scott Mendel, Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed Interim President and Chief Executive Officer. Hany Massarany has stepped down as President and CEO and as a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Mendel has served as GenMark’s Chief Operating Officer since February 2019. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer since joining the company in 2014. Prior to joining GenMark, Mendel held various roles of increasing responsibility at The Active Network and GE Healthcare.
The American Society on Aging [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of Peter Kaldes as chief executive officer. Kaldes was previously a leader and advocate in aging in South Florida as president and CEO of the South Florida Institute on Aging. Prior to joining SoFIA, Kaldes was a senior executive in JPMorgan Chase’s Office of Corporate Responsibility. Previously Kaldes was a senior economic advisor in the Obama White House.
interviewstream [CHICAGO, IL] announced that Ron Wilson has been named Chief Executive Officer. Wilson replaces interim CEO Chris Joseph, Managing Partner at Clovis Point Capital. Most recently, Wilson served as the Chief Operating Officer at Yello.
IntraHealth [CHAPEL HILL, NC] announced Polly Dunford will be IntraHealth’s next president and CEO, effective March 16. Dunford will succeed outgoing president and CEO Pape Gaye, who has been at the helm since 2004. Dunford is joining IntraHealth after nearly 20 years of service with the U.S. Agency for International Development in Cambodia, Haiti, Jordan, Mozambique, Nigeria and Washington, D.C., most recently as the global director for HIV/AIDS. Before joining USAID, Dunford served as the country director of the Near East Foundation in Morocco and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Côte d’Ivoire.
ServerMonkey [HOUSTON] announces the appointment of Bashar Hindi as CEO. In 2011, Hindi joined ServerMonkey, where he worked as an account representative before being promoted to Sales Manager in 2013 and Vice President of Sales in 2016. Before his tenure at ServerMonkey, Bashar spent seven years working in sales for Houston-based electronic component distributor Smith.
eSight Corporation [TORONTO] announce the appointment of Robert Vaters as President and CEO effective February 3rd. Vaters joins eSight from Newport Board Group where he served as a partner in the healthcare practice focusing on medical device companies. Prior to Newport, Vaters served in progressive leadership roles including as CEO of Orthofix International.
Be The Match® [MINNEAPOLIS, MN] announced that Chief Executive Officer C. Randal Mills is leaving the organization for personal reasons. Amy Ronneberg, Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Staff will serve as acting CEO while the organization determines a replacement.
Eagle Materials Inc. [DALLAS] Mike Nicolais, current Eagle Materials Chairman, will become Chairman of the Board of the spun-off company, and Eagle Materials current President and CEO, Michael Haack, will become President and CEO.
American Gypsum Company [DALLAS] announced Dave Powers, former Eagle Materials CEO and current Eagle Materials board member, will become the Chairman of American Gypsum. Craig Kesler, current CFO of Eagle Materials, will become the President and CEO of American Gypsum.
The Pankey Institute. [KEY BISCAYNE, FL] announced Lee Ann Brady has accepted the position of President & CEO, adding to her existing responsibilities as Director of Education. Brady joined the Pankey Institute as their first female resident faculty member and was quickly promoted to Clinical Director.
Great Western Bancorp, Inc. [SIOUX FALLS, SD] (NYSE: GWB) announced that the Company has appointed Mark Borrecco as the organization’s President and Chief Executive Officer effective March 9, 2020. Borrecco has over 20 years of banking experience with most recently serving as the CEO of Rabobank, NA, from November 2015 through the sale of Rabobank to Mechancis Bank in 2019. Borrecco also served on the Board of Directors for Rabobank, NA from November 2014 through August, 2019. Prior to his CEO role he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Banking Officer for Rabobank, NA from 2011 to 2015.
Conexiom [VANCOUVER, BC] announces the appointment of Ray Grady as President and CEO. Brent Halverson, the incumbent President and CEO, will continue to play a key role at Conexiom as Founder. Grady comes from Salesforce B2B Commerce, where he held the role of SVP, COO and GM. Previously, Grady was President and COO of CloudCraze. Grady’s extensive experience also includes roles as SVP and GM of Acquia, and the co-founder of Acquity Group.
Therapy Brands [BIRMINGHAM, AL] Shegun Otulana announced that Kimberly O’Loughlin will succeed him as CEO of the company, effective February 10. O’Loughlin was most recently president of health information technology and services provider Greenway Health.
Kidder Mathews [SEATTLE, WA] announced that Chairman and CEO, Jeff Lyon will transition out of the CEO role and will remain chairman of the board. Current president and COO, Bill Frame, will be promoted to CEO on July 1, 2020. Frame joined Kidder Mathews 28 years ago as an office sales and leasing specialist. Frame served on the firm’s strategic planning committee as well as the board of directors for 18 years. In addition, he was the managing director of the firm’s Tacoma office for 16 years prior to being tapped to become president and COO in 2016.
The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency [HARRISBURG, PA] announced that Robin Wiessmann is the new executive director and CEO at the agency. Brian Hudson was the previous executive director and CEO at PHFA. He retired on Feb. 7 after 45 years at the agency. Wiessmann was a founding principal and president of Artemis Capital Group, the first women-owned investment banking firm on Wall Street. Prior to co-founding Artemis, Wiessman served as a vice president of public finance at Goldman
Certis USA [COLUMBIA, MD] announced that President and CEO, Jow-Lih Su will transition his duties. Amy O’Shea joins Certis USA as President and will assume the CEO role on July 1. Su will continue to serve on the Board of Directors of Certis USA after July 1. Prior to joining Certis USA, O’Shea spent 23 years in various leadership roles at FMC Corporation, most recently as Vice President and Business Director for the North American region of FMC.
Kenway Consulting [CHICAGO, IL] announced that it has appointed Matt Kueker, who most recently served as Kenway’s managing director, as chief executive officer. Brian King, Kenway’s founder and former CEO, will now serve as the company’s Scottsdale office lead and member of its newly-created Board of Managers.
Daseke, Inc. [ADDISON, TX] (NASDAQ: DSKE) announced that on February 7, 2020, it has appointed Chris Easter, former Interim Chief Executive Officer, as permanent Chief Executive Officer. In addition to his role as CEO, Chris Easter has also become a member of the Board of Directors. Easter began his career at Daseke as its Chief Operating Officer in January of 2019 and assumed the additional responsibility as its Interim Chief Executive Officer in August of 2019. His background includes more than 30 years of operational leadership serving in key transportation and logistics roles with the United States Army, Walmart and Schneider National. From 2012 to 2017, Easter served as CEO of Keen Transport.
