Dsco [LEHI, UT] announced that Vance Checketts has been named Dsco’s Chief Executive Officer and appointed to the company’s Board of Directors. Founder Jeremy Hanks will remain focused on Dsco in his new full-time role as Executive Chairman. Checketts joinied Dsco as COO in August 2018. Checketts was previously VP & GM at Dell EMC.
Red River [CLAREMONT, NH & SAN ANTONIO, TX] announced the promotion of Alan Dumas to Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Dumas’ role as the CEO at Red River, he served as Red River’s Chief Revenue Officer, as well as the President of Red River’s Commercial and SLED divisions.
Optym [GAINESVILLE, FL] has appointed Dallas-based Vic Keller as chief executive officer. Ravi Ahuja founder of Optym has been appointed to chief science officer. These changes were effective Nov. 4, 2019. For over 20 years, Keller has established, grown and operationally optimized national and international companies. Keller was appointed to the Optym board of directors in July 2019. Most recently, Keller founded KLV Capital. Previously, Keller founded the ZAK Automotive Companies.
Diversified Foodservice Supply, L.L.C. [MT. PROSPECT, IL] announced that Jeff King has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. King succeeds Bob Aiken who is retiring and will continue to serve on the company’s Board of Directors. King most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Reinhart Foodservice L.L.C. King joined Reinhart in October 2010 and was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer in February 2015. Previously, he served as President of the equipment and supplies division of US Foods.
SITO Mobile, Ltd. [JERSEY CITY, NJ] (Nasdaq: SITO) announced the appointment of Scott L. Kauffman as the Company’s new Interim Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining SITO Mobile Kauffman was the Chairman & CEO of New York based MDC Partners. Kauffman replaces Tom Pallack, who has resigned from SITO for personal reasons.
Global Premier Soccer [BOSTON] announced Keith Caldwell as Chief Executive Officer. Caldwell played four years at Brown University before being drafted by the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. Caldwell later served as Director of Coaching for Scorpions Soccer Club, guiding the program to a Soccer America Top 20 National Girls Club ranking. Caldwell has spent the past five years with The Boston Consulting Group, most recently as a leader in the sports practice.
Cynosure, LLC [WESTFORD, MA] announced that Todd Tillemans becomes Chief Executive Officer. Tillemans is the former President of Hershey’s flagship U.S. business. Tillemans succeeds Erik Anderson who joined Cynosure from Hologic in 2017 as Vice President of Sales and led the organization as President for the past six months under Hologic Inc.’s ownership prior to its acquisition by funds managed by CD&R.
Butler/Till [ROCHESTER, NY] announced the appointment of Kimberly Jones as President and CEO. Jones has worked with Butler/Till for the past 10 years, serving as president since 2015 and prior to that as vice president of client services.
Hudbay Minerals Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX:HBM) announced the appointment of Peter Kukielski as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Kukielski had been serving as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer since July 2019. Most recently, Kukielski was President and Chief Executive Officer of Nevsun Resources Ltd. until its acquisition in December 2018. From 2013 to 2017, Kukielski was Chief Executive Officer of Anemka Resources.
Soft-Tex International, Inc. [WATERFORD, NY] announced that Jeff Chilton is stepping down as Chief Executive Officer. The Board of Directors has appointed Chief Financial Officer, Tom Gibbs, to serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Gibbs joined Soft-Tex in 2012 as Controller and was promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2013. Prior to Soft-Tex, Gibbs served in a diverse array of senior financial executive roles, having served as Chief Financial Officer of Cookson Plastic Molding Corporation and Chief Financial Officer of Loudon Plastics.
Fairbanks Morse [BELOIT, WI] announced that George Whittier has returned to lead the company as Chief Executive Officer. Whittier ran the Fairbanks Morse division from 2009-2012. He returns to the company after successful growth-oriented leadership positions at Precision Castparts Corporation, Regal Beloit Corporation, and The Morey Corporation. Whittier has replaced Deepak Navnith, who will continue his tenure with EnPro Industries.
CEC Entertainment, Inc. [IRVING, TX] announced that it has appointed David McKillips as Chief Executive Officer, replacing Tom Leverton who has resigned as CEO. Most recently, McKillips was President of the International Development Company for Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. In addition, McKillips served as Six Flags Senior Vice President, In-Park Services. Prior to joining Six Flags, he served as Vice President of Advertising & Custom Publishing Sales for DC Comics, a division of Warner Bros. Entertainment.
Albany International Corp. [ROCHESTER, NH] (NYSE: AIN) announced that it has appointed A. William Higgins as President and Chief Executive Officer to succeed Olivier Jarrault, who has resigned by mutual agreement with the Board. Higgins previously served as CEO and Chairman of CIRCOR International Inc. between 2008 and 2012. Prior to joining CIRCOR, Higgins held a variety of senior management positions with Honeywell International and AlliedSignal. Higgins has served on the Board of Albany since 2016 and as Chairman of the Board from February 2019.
Human in Motion Robotics [VANCOUVER, BC] announced that Alexei Marko, previously an advisor to the Company, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and will be joining the HMR Board of Directors. Incumbent CEO and co-founder of the Company, Siamak Arzanpour, will become the Company’s Chief Technology Officer and Board director.
Govini [ARLINGTON, VA] announced that Tara Murphy Dougherty has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Chris Taylor. For the past two years, Murphy Dougherty has served as Govini’s President of National Security. Prior to Govini Murphy Dougherty was at Palantir Technologies and served as Chief of Staff for Global Strategic Affairs in the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
Conifer Health Solutions [DALLAS] announced the appointment of Joseph F. Eazor as President and Chief Executive Officer. Kyle Burtnett, who held the position of Interim CEO of Conifer will return to his previous role of Chief Operating Officer of Conifer, reporting to Eazor. Eazor joins Conifer from Oracle Corporation, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer. Eazor previously served as CEO of Rackspace, and, prior to that, as CEO of EarthLink. He also held executive roles at EMC, Hewlett-Packard (HP), and Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
LOCATE Inventory [LAGUNA HILLS, CA] has promoted Zack Schiffelbein to the role of chief executive officer. He takes over for George Keliher, who will now head LOCATE’s board of directors. In 2011, Keliher hired Schiffelbein to join his team at Fishbooks Pro and he remained there until 2017 when he followed Keliher to help launch LOCATE.
Orthogonal Thinker Inc. [KIHEI, HI] announced the appointment of Company Co-Founder Jason Hobson as Chief Executive Officer. David Nikzad, Co-Founder of Orthogonal and key spokesperson for the Company, has been named as Executive Chairman.
Discount Tire [SCOTTSDALE, AZ] announced the promotion of Dean Muglia to the role of chief executive officer. Muglia served as the company’s chief corporate officer and succeeds Michael Zuieback, who will retain the role of executive chairman for the company. Muglia was first recruited to head the accounting department before working with store operations. In 2018, Muglia assumed the position of chief corporate officer, appointed by Zuieback.
Itafos [TORONTO] (TSX VENTURE: IFOS) announced today that it has appointed Mhamed Ibnabdeljalil as Chief Executive Officer. Ibnabdeljalil has been serving as interim Chief Executive Officer since May 16, 2019. Ibnabdeljalil has also been serving as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors since December 31, 2016 and will continue in that role. Previously, Ibnabdeljalil served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of OCP Group S.A. Ibnabdeljalil has served as a director on more than a dozen boards of fertilizer companies in Europe, India, Middle East and Americas.
Pentius, Inc. [WILMINGTIN, DE] announced that long-time CMO, Chad Ertel will be taking on the role of CEO. Ertel is taking over the daily operations at Pentius, while former CEO/Founder, Martin Toha will continue as Chairman of the company.
PSEB Group [SEATTLE, WA] announced that Mike Egeck will be stepping down as CEO, effective February 4, 2020, to pursue a new opportunity. PSEB director Jim Gulmi will serve as Interim CEO of PSEB while the Board conducts a search for a permanent replacement. Egeck will remain a PSEB shareholder and an active Board member following the transition. Gulmi has served as a PSEB director since its formation in 2018. Prior to that, Gulmi served as Interim CEO of PACSUN from March 2017 through October 2018, as well as a member of PACSUN’s Board of Directors. Gulmi previously worked for Genesco, a leading specialty retailer, from 1971 to 2015, where he most recently served as CFO.
PrecisionHawk, Inc. [RALEIGH, NC] announced that James Norrod has been named as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Michael Chasen will lead PrecisionHawk’s advisory board. Norrod’s portfolio of leadership experience includes serving as CEO of Tellabs, CEO of Zhone Technologies, CEO of Segway, CEO of Telebit, CEO of Adage, and CEO of Infinite Power Solutions.
Growers Edge Financial, Inc. [JOHNSTON, IA] announced the appointment of Dan Cosgrove as chief executive officer. Most recently, Cosgrove served as the company’s chief strategy officer. Prior to his role at Growers Edge, Cosgrove held leadership roles at Corteva Agriscience, including global lead, corporate development and licensing, vice president of business development, chief patent counsel, and various internal legal team roles. Early in his career, Cosgrove served as a partner at Zarley, McKee, Thomte, Voorhees & Sease.
CommonSpirit Health [CHICAGO] announced that Kevin E. Lofton will retire as chief executive officer of on June 30, 2020. Following Lofton’s retirement, Lloyd H. Dean will become the organization’s sole CEO. Since CommonSpirit was formed in February 2019 through the combination of Dignity Health and CHI, Dean and Lofton have both served as CEOs with distinct responsibilities. Lofton will continue to lead the organization for the next six months until Dean becomes the sole CEO on July 1, 2020. Following his retirement, Lofton will continue his current board commitments.
Duetto [SAN FRANCISCO] has promoted David Woolenberg from President and Chief Operating Officer to Chief Executive Officer. Woolenberg will join the company’s Board of Directors. Woolenberg joined Duetto as Chief Revenue Officer in 2018 and was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer a year later. Prior to Duetto, Woolenberg spent more than 15 years in various leadership positions at Digital River, a global e-commerce solutions company.
Thundra™ [BOSTON] announced the appointment of Ken Cheney as CEO. Cheney has held executive positions at companies including Mercury Interactive, Hewlett-Packard, Likewise Software Message Bus, Chef Software and Qumulo.
EPTAM Precision Solutions [SEATTLE] announced the appointment of Mark Kemp as CEO. Kemp replaces Dana Waterman, who has chosen to pursue other interests following a successful tenure at EPTAM and will support Mark during a transition period. Prior to serving as a Frazier Operating Partner, Kemp was most recently President and CEO of Tecomet. Prior to Tecomet, he was President of Flextronics Medical.
Zoom Telephonics, Inc. [Boston, MA] (OTCQB: ZMTP) announced Frank Manning’s retirement as CEO and acting CFO of Zoom Telephonics effective February 1, 2020. Joe Wytanis, Zoom’s President, will become CEO. Manning will become an advisor to Zoom and will remain as a Director.
Mercy Health Services [Baltimore, MA] announced that President & CEO Thomas R. Mullen has announced his plans to retire as President & CEO effective July 2020. The Board of Trustees announced the unanimous selection of Executive Vice President, David N. Maine to succeed Mullen at that time. Mullen will then serve as Senior Advisor through December 2021. Maine has served as Executive Vice President for Mercy Health Services since October 2019. Prior to assuming the role of Executive Vice President of Mercy Health Services, Maine was Executive Vice President of Mercy’s Physician Enterprise. Maine’s other roles at Mercy have included serving as President of Medical Staff; as Senior Vice President of Clinical Transformation.
The Association for Manufacturing Excellence [ROLLING MEADOWS, IL] announced that Kimberlee A. Humphrey was named AME president and chief executive officer. Humphrey has served in several volunteer roles including director of alliances for AME’s management team, Southeastern Region board member, AME Excellence Award examiner, and AME International Conference committee member. Humphrey succeeds George Saiz, who recently retired.
Dillon Consulting Inc. and Dillon Consulting Limited [TORONTO] announced the appointment of Sean Hanlon as CEO of Dillon Consulting Inc. and Dillon Consulting Limited effective March 1, 2020. Current CEO, Terry Boutilier, will remain in place as planned until February 29, 2020. Hanlon joined Dillon in 2002 and has progressed rapidly within the firm by becoming a Partner in 2007, taking on the leadership role of the Environmental Sciences group in 2014 and serving as a member of the Dillon Board for over nine years. Hanlon first accepted the role as Interim-President in April 2018 and in January 2019 he was appointed President of DCI and DCL.
Interface, Inc. [ATLANTA, GA] (Nasdaq: TILE) announced that it has named Dan Hendrix, most recently Chairman of the Board of Interface, as President and Chief Executive Officer. Hendrix will also maintain his position as Board Chairman. Hendrix succeeds Jay Gould. Hendrix served as CEO of Interface from 2001 to 2017 and was succeeded by Gould.
