The Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance [DOWNINGTOWN, PA] announced the promotion of Jennifer Farmer to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Farmer served as the Executive Director for FARA since 2007. Prior to serving as Executive Director for FARA, Farmer split her time between grant manager for FARA and genetic counselor and clinical research coordinator in Dr. David Lynch’s FA clinic at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
AgJunction Inc. [SCOTTSDALE, AZ] (TSX: AJX) announced that it has appointed Lori Ell, the Chair of the Company’s Board of Directors, as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, following the departure of David E. Vaughn as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Tractor Supply Company [BRENTWOOD, TN] (NASDAQ: TSCO) announced that it has named Hal Lawton as its President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, effective January 13, 2020. Lawton, who is currently President of Macy’s, will succeed Tractor Supply’s Chief Executive Officer Greg Sandfort, who previously announced his intent to retire. Sandfort will remain with the Company through February 29, 2020, and then serve as advisor until August 31, 2020. Previously, Lawton was Senior Vice President, eBay North America from August 2015 to September 2017.
Rx Marketing Group [VENICE, CA & PHOENIX, AZ] announced the appointment of Peter Wilson as Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2020. Since 2012, Wilson has been the CEO of LashBack, LLC. Prior to LashBack, Wilson served as CEO of a diversified marketing services firm and as Managing Director and U.S. Head of technology and services investment banking for KPMG Corporate Finance.
The American Waterways Operators [ARLINGTON, VA] has announced that Jennifer Carpenter, AWO’s Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to the position of President & Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2020.
The National Business Group on Health [WASHINGTON, DC] announced its President and Chief Executive Officer, Brian Marcotte, will retire on May 1, 2020 to spend more time with his family. Marcotte has been President and Chief Executive Officer since May 2014. The Business Group’s Board of Directors has appointed NBGH Chief Strategy Officer, Ellen Kelsay, to succeed Marcotte in both roles. Kelsay joined the Business Group as Chief Strategy Officer in April 2017. Previously, Kelsay was a senior partner at Mercer.
Accelerate Diagnostics, Inc. [TUCSON, AZ] (NASDAQ: AXDX) announced that Lawrence Mehren will retire from the company. Jack Phillips, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, has been unanimously appointed by the board to the position, effective February 1, 2020. Phillips has been the company’s Chief Operating Officer since September 1, 2019. Prior to joining Accelerate Diagnostics, Phillips was the President and CEO of Roche Diagnostics, North America, for nearly a decade.
Cetera Financial Group [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced that Adam Antoniades has been appointed the firm’s Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors. Antoniades has a long and accomplished history with Cetera, most recently serving as its President since 2014.
Delphix [REDWOOD CITY, CA] has named Delphix Founder and Executive Chairman, Jedidiah Yueh, as its next Chief Executive Officer. Current Delphix CEO, Chris Cook, will retire from the company at the end of the year.
Clifton, Weiss & Associates [GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA] announced that Nathan “Nate” Niles has taken the role as President and Chief Executive Officer. The two original company founders Elizabeth Clifton and Stephen Weiss remain with the firm, taking the roles of Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President, respectively.
Delta-Energy Group, LLC [NATCHEZ, MS] announced that it has hired a new president and CEO, Robert (“Bob”) Genovese. Jeff Flannery has retired as CEO after leading the Company for four years and establishing the Company’s first commercial-scale recovered carbon black (“rCB”) plant in Natchez, Mississippi. Genovese brings extensive commercial and operating expertise to Delta-Energy, including 32 years at BP in leadership roles around the world.
Red Lion Hotels Corporation [DENVER, CO] (NYSE: RLH) announced John J. Russell, Jr. has been appointed interim Chief Executive Officer. Russell was most recently President and Chief Operating Officer with Sentry Hospitality.
Caraway Therapeutics [CAMBRIDGE, MA] announced it has appointed Martin D. Williams as Chief Executive Officer. Earlier this year, the company appointed Cristina Csimma as Chair of the Board of Directors. Williams was most recently Executive Chairman of Yuma Therapeutics, which he co-founded.
New America Alliance [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Solange Fernández Brooks as its new Chief Executive Officer, beginning January 2020. Brooks has served as Portfolio Manager within the Investments Branch of the California State Teachers’ Retirement System. Brooks joined CalSTRS, the second largest pension fund in the nation, reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer in the Investments Executive Unit. Prior to joining CalSTRS, Brooks served on the Corrections Independent Review Panel.
Amphivena Therapeutics, Inc. [SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced that Curtis L. Ruegg will join the company as its new President and Chief Executive Officer and will also sit on the company’s Board of Directors. The company’s Founder and current President and Chief Executive Officer, Jeanmarie Guenot will transition into an Advisory role. Ruegg joins Amphivena from Parvus Therapeutics, where he was President and Chief Executive Officer.
The Providence Service Corporation [ATLANTA, GA] (NASDAQ: PRSC) announced that it has appointed Daniel E. Greenleaf as Chief Executive Officer of the Company and its subsidiary, LogistiCare Solutions, LLC, effective December 11, 2019. Greenleaf recently served as President and CEO of BioScrip, Inc. Prior to BioScrip, Greenleaf was the CEO and Chairman of Home Solutions Infusion Services where he led the turnaround and eventual sale to BioScrip.
