Extended Stay America, Inc. [CHARLOTTE, NC] (NASDAQ: STAY) announced the appointment of Bruce Haase as President and Chief Executive Officer. Haase has been elected to serve as a director of Extended Stay America, Inc. and will continue to serve as a director of ESH Hospitality, Inc. He succeeds Jonathan Halkyard, who will continue to advise the Company through February 25, 2020. Haase has served as a director of ESH Hospitality since 2018. From 2014 to 2016, Haase served as Chief Executive Officer of WoodSpring Hotels, LLC. Previously, Haase served in a series of executive positions with Choice Hotels International from 2000 through 2012, most recently as Executive Vice President, Global Brands, Marketing & Operations.
Elevate Credit, Inc. [FORT WORTH, TX] (NYSE: ELVT) announced the appointment of Jason Harvison to President and CEO. Harvison, a 16-year veteran of the company, had served as Interim CEO since last July. Harvison has also been appointed to the Elevate Board of Directors. Harvison joined Elevate’s predecessor company in 2003. In 2014, Harvinson was named Elevate’s Chief Product Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and has previously served on the company’s Board of Directors.
Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: PGNX) announced that it has appointed David W. Mims as interim Chief Executive Officer. Mims is a member of Progenics’ Board of Directors. Mims previously served as President, U.S. Specialty Pharmaceuticals, for Aptalis Pharma Inc., and previously held the same role at Axcan Intermediate Holdings Inc. from February 2008 until May 2014 and as a member on its board from 2000 to 2007. Mims also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Axcan after the company acquired Scandipharm, Inc., a privately held pharmaceutical company that Mims helped found and served as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
Gofire™, Inc. [DENVER, CO] has named Joe Hodas Chief Executive Officer, taking the role over from the company’s co-founder Peter Calfee, who will maintain his leadership position as Founder and Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors. Hodas joined Gofire as President and Chief Operating Officer in April after serving in an executive advisory role for several years.
Science 37 [LOS ANGELES] announced that David Coman has joined the company as its chief executive officer. Coman joins Science 37 from ERT, where he led its data and analytics business after serving as the company’s chief strategy officer. Prior to ERT, Coman founded the Digital Patient business at Quintiles (now IQVIA) while also serving as the company’s chief marketing officer.
Kymera Therapeutics Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, MA] announced Kymera Co-founder, President and Chief Scientific Officer Nello Mainolfi has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer. Mainolfi started his drug discovery career at the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research. Before co-founding Kymera in 2016, Mainolfi was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Atlas Venture and had previously led discovery research at cancer metabolism startup Raze Therapeutics.
Cannae Holdings, Inc. [LAS VEGAS, NV] (NYSE:CNNE) announced that it has appointed Richard N. Massey as Chief Executive Officer effective November 15, 2019. In addition to the role of Chief Executive Officer, Massey will remain on the board of directors of Cannae and as Senior Managing Director of Trasimene Capital Management, LLC. Massey most recently served as a partner of Westrock Capital Partners and Bear State Advisors, both multifamily investment offices. Massey was Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel of Alltel Corporation from January 2006 to January 2009. Previously, from 2000 until 2006, Massey served as Managing Director of Stephens Inc.
Health Wright Products [CLACKAMAS, OR] announced that Scott Steinford was named Chief Executive Officer. Steinford has held CEO or president roles in organizations such as ZMC-USA, Doctor’s Best and Zenwise Health/Zesty Paws, and guided non-profit trade organizations such as the CoQ10 Association and Natural Algae Astaxanthin Association.
Aruvant [NEW YORK & BASEL, SWITZERLAND] announced the appointment of William Chou as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Chou served as Vice President, Global Disease Lead for Novartis’ Cell and Gene Therapy unit. Prior to joining Novartis, Chou worked at the Boston Consulting Group where he focused on commercial and clinical pharmaceutical strategy
FBL Financial Group, Inc. [WEST DES MOINES, IA] (NYSE: FFG) announced the appointment of Daniel D. (Dan) Pitcher as Chief Executive Officer and Class A director, effective January 1, 2020, succeeding current Chief Executive Officer Jim Brannen, who previously announced plans to retire in early 2020. Pitcher currently serves as FBL Financial Group’s Chief Operating Officer – Property Casualty Companies. Prior to his current position, Pitcher held various property casualty operations and information system roles since joining FBL Financial Group in 1998. Prior to that, Pitcher spent 14 years with Nationwide/Allied Insurance.
Patrick Industries, Inc. [ELKHART, IN] (NASDAQ: PATK) announced that Andy L. Nemeth, President will succeed Todd M. Cleveland as Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2020. Nemeth will continue in his role as President and a director of the Company. Cleveland will become Executive Chairman and will continue to lead the Board of Directors. Prior to assuming the position of President in 2016, Mr. Nemeth was Executive Vice President of Finance, Secretary-Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer from 2004 to 2015, Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and Secretary-Treasurer from 2003 to 2004, and Secretary-Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer from 2002 to 2003. Nemeth joined the Company in 1996.
Colabor Group Inc. [BOUCHERVILLE, QC] (TSX: GCL) announced the appointment of Louis Frenette as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation. This appointment is effective as of November 25, 2019.Frenette was President and Chief Executive Officer of Parmalat Canada, Bonduelle North America and Danone Canada. Previously, Frenette held the positions of Vice-President of Sales and Logistics at Danone Canada, Executive Director and Vice-President of Marketing at Johnson & Johnson Canada, as well as Director of Sales at Procter and Gamble Canada where he started his career in 1987.
Northwest Analytics [PORTLAND, OR] announced that Peter Guilfoyle has been appointed chief executive officer, president and director. Robert Ward, former CEO, will assume an advisory role. These changes were effective November 12, 2019. Previously Guilfoyle was the Vice President of Marketing for Northwest Analytics.
WMS Partners [TOWSON, MD] announced that Todd M. Wickwire has been named Chief Executive Officer. Wickwire joined the firm in February as Chief Operating Officer and has moved to the CEO role as part of the firm’s strategic plan. Prior to joining WMS Partners, Wickwire was a managing director and Head of U.S. Equity Research at Wells Fargo Securities.
Sachem Capital Corp. [BRANFORD, CT] (NYSE American: SACH) announced that, effective as of Thursday, November 21, 2019, Jeffrey Villano has resigned from the company. He had been serving as co-chief executive officer, president and treasurer of the company. Jeffrey Villano was also a co-founder of the company. He will continue to serve as a member of the company’s Board of Directors. John Villano will assume the full responsibilities as the company’s chief executive officer in addition to his role as the company’s chief financial officer. John Villano has also been appointed as president and treasurer of the company until suitable replacements for Jeffrey Villano are found.
Airlines Reporting Corp. [ARLINGTON, VA] announced its President and CEO Mike Premo will retire from the company on December 31, 2020. At its regularly scheduled meeting on Nov. 7, ARC’s board of directors unanimously elected current Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Lauri Reishus to succeed Premo as president and CEO on January 1, 2021. Reishus began her career with American Airlines as a customer service representative and later joined Gelco Travel. She spent 16 years at SatoTravel/Navigant as vice president of account management before joining ARC in 2005 as general manager, industry products and services. Reishus was quickly promoted to VP, operations and then COO. She has held her current position as executive vice president and COO since 2018.
Franklin Resources, Inc. [SAN MATEO, CA] (NYSE: BEN) announced the appointment of Jennifer M. Johnson as president and chief executive officer. Current CEO Gregory E. Johnson will become executive chairman of Franklin Resources, Inc. and continue in his role as chairman of the Company’s board of directors. The CEO appointment was approved by the Company’s board of directors, and both appointments will become effective at the Company’s 2020 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on February 11, 2020. Jennifer Johnson joined the firm in 1988 and has served in numerous roles, including as the Company’s chief information officer.
A10 Networks [SAN JOSE, CA] (NYSE: ATEN) announced that Dhrupad Trivedi has agreed to join the company as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective December 2, 2019. Lee Chen, who founded A10 Networks in 2004 and has served as CEO since inception, will continue to be actively involved with the company to ensure a smooth leadership transition, and will continue as chairman of the A10 Networks Board of Directors. Trivedi joins A10 Networks from Belden, where he most recently was Executive Vice President, running Tripwire, and CTO of Belden. Prior to this, Trivedi held other executive roles at Belden, including President of Belden’s Network Solutions Division; Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. Prior to joining Belden, Trivedi held executive roles at JDS Uniphase Corporation from 1998 through 2010.
Smokey Bones [AVENTURA, FL] has appointed James O’Reilly as the new CEO. O’Reilly joins Smokey Bones from Long John Silver’s, where he served as CEO for four years. O’Reilly began his career in the international division of PepsiCo in Canada. He has held marketing and research and development leadership positions for YUM Brands in the Caribbean, Latin America, and the United Kingdom. O’Reilly went on to become the CMO of KFC U.S. and senior vice president of U.S. marketing for YUM Brands. Later, O’Reilly became the CMO and chief brand officer of Sonic Drive-In before becoming the CEO of Long John Silver’s.
Annaly Capital Management, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: NLY) announced the departure of Kevin Keyes from his roles as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company and member of the Board of Directors. The Board has named Glenn Votek to serve as CEO and President on an interim basis. Votek has been elected to the Board and will also continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer. Votek, who joined Annaly in 2013, is a well-known industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in financial services. Prior to his role as CFO at Annaly, he served as Executive Vice President and Treasurer at CIT Group since 1999 and also President of Consumer Finance since 2012.
The Association of Social Work Boards [CULPEPER, VA] announced that CEO Mary Jo Monahan plans to retire effective July 2020 after more than seven years with the organization. A succession plan is under way, and Monahan will continue as CEO until a successor is hired.
Cyxtera Technologies [MIAMI, FL] announced that Cyxtera founder and CEO Manuel D. Medina has been elevated to the position of Executive Chairman for both Cyxtera and its recently announced AppGate spin-out, where he will provide strategic guidance and counsel for the two companies. Current Cyxtera President and Chief Operating Officer Nelson Fonseca has been promoted to the role of CEO for Cyxtera.
Panasonic Avionics Corporation [LAKE FOREST, CA] has named Ken Sain chief executive officer. Sain succeeds Hideo Nakano, who has served as Panasonic Avionics CEO since 2017 and as deputy CEO prior to that. Nakano will now serve as Special Advisor for Panasonic Avionics. Sain, who most recently served as vice president of Digital Solutions and Analytics for Boeing Global Services and as CEO of Boeing subsidiary Jeppesen, will join Panasonic Avionics on December 2, 2019.
SUMR Brands [WOONSOCKET, RI] (NASDAQ: SUMR) announced that Mark Messner will be stepping down as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer to pursue other opportunities and spend time with his family. The Board of Directors has begun a search for an interim CEO to replace Messner, who will remain in his role to assist in the transition until December 13, 2019 or such earlier date that his successor is appointed.
Demandbase [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced the appointment of Chief Revenue Officer Gabe Rogol to CEO. Chris Golec, the founder and previous CEO of Demandbase, will become Chief Strategy Officer. As part of Rogol’s promotion to CEO, he will also join the Demandbase board. Golec will remain on the Demandbase Board of Directors and will be actively involved in the company day-to-day. Rogol joined the company in 2012 and helped develop a world-class sales and customer success engine. Rogol has a deep technology background with 20 years of leadership experience within B2B, SaaS, MarTech, and Media. Before Demandbase, Gabe led sales and marketing for IDG’s SMB division.
