8020 Connect Inc. [CALGARY, AB] announced that it has appointed Ralph Scobie as Chief Executive Officer. Scobie has also been appointed to the Board of Directors. Outgoing Founder & CEO, Darren Stewart, will become President, remains a Director and is a major shareholder of the Company. Scobie was the Chairman, CEO and President, of PCS Wireless from its inception. Scobie was also a founder of Integra Systems.
NN, Inc. [CHARLOTTE, NC] (NASDAQ: NNBR) announced the appointment of Warren Veltman as President and Chief Executive Officer. Veltman has served as NN’s interim President and CEO since September 16, 2019. Veltman most recently served as interim President and CEO of NN. Veltman previously served as Executive Vice President of NN’s Mobile Solutions group, a position he held when he joined the Company in 2014 as part of NN’s acquisition of Autocam Corporation. Prior to that,Veltman served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Autocam Corporation, and of Autocam Medical.
Unique Fabricating, Inc. [AUBURN HILLS, MI] (NYSE American:UFAB) announced it has appointed Doug Cain as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Cain will begin work September 30, 2019. Recently, Cain served as CEO of Mubea North America where he was responsible for the activities of 13 sites in the U.S. and Mexico, including manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and engineering.
ResoluteAI [NEW YORK] announced that it has chosen Steve Goldstein as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer. Goldstein was previously Head of Product Management, Enterprise Content, and Delivery for Refinitiv. Prior to his tenure with Refinitiv, Goldstein served as vice chairman for Opus Global after they acquired Alacra, Inc., the company for which he served as co-founder, chairman, and CEO for nearly 20 years.
Neato Robotics [NEWARK, CA] announced it has appointed Thomas Nedder as global Chief Executive Officer. Nedder most recently served as Head of Sony Electronics, Germany. Prior to his tenure at Sony, Nedder was General Manager of NEC Deutschland. Additionally, Nedder has served as Director of International Sales for Edding, Vice President Sales & Marketing at Proxima, and Distribution Manager at SHARP Micro-Electronics.
Results Physiotherapy [FRANKLIN, TN] announced the appointment of Michael Martin as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Martin served as the CEO of Bellwether Behavioral Health.
transformAI [SAN JOSE, CA] announced that the Company has appointed Lee Coulter as Chief Executive Officer. Before joining transformAI, Coulter spent nine years at Ascension as CEO of their captive shared service subsidiary. Before that, Coulter spent six years at Kraft Foods as their chief administrative officer, three years at Aon leading global IT, and 15 years as an executive at General Electric.
Total Reclaim [SEATTLE, WA] announced the appointment of Bobby Farris as CEO. Farris most recently served as a General Manager for TerraCycle. Prior to TerraCycle, Farris served as Vice President of Business Development for JACO Environmental. For nine years, Farris also served as Director of Electronics Recycling Services at Waste Management Inc.
Envera Health [RICHMOND, VA] announced that the Company has appointed David Cerino as new Chief Executive Officer. Cerino has also joined Envera’s Board of Directors. Cerino brings decades of experience in ground-breaking healthcare, travel and financial software organizations including Orbitz, Microsoft and Providence St. Joseph Health.
Microdermics, Inc.™ [IRVINE, CA] announced the appointment of Francis Duhay, MD, as chief executive officer of the company. Duhay is co-founder of the next generation medical device accelerator Koa Accel. Duhay previously served as President and/or Co-founder for four medical device start-ups (Corvascular, Aegis Surgical, Atrius, and Kino Biosciences). Prior to that, Duhay served as Chief Medical Officer for Edwards Lifesciences, and General Manager for its transcatheter heart valve therapy business.

Pereira has resigned from his roles as Chief Executive Officer, President, director and chairman of the Company’s board of directors on September 13, 2019. The Company’s board of directors has appointed the Company’s current Chief Financial Officer, Vincent S. Miceli, as Chief Executive Officer, President and a director.
The Kids In Need Foundation [MINNEAPOLIS, MN] announced that Corey Gordon was appointed as chief executive officer, effective September 9, 2019. Gordon will take over responsibilities from Dave Smith. Gordon has served as chief development & stewardship officer for American Diabetes Association where he was responsible for all aspects of both B2C and B2B fundraising and engagement. Gordon also served as chief marketing officer for Feed the Children.
Aware, Inc. [BEDFORD, MA] (NASDAQ: AWR) announced that Robert A. Eckel has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and President. Eckel will also serve as a member of the Board of Directors of Aware. Kevin T. Russell, Aware’s current Chief Executive Officer and President, General Counsel has been named Chief Legal and Administrative Officer. Russell will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of Aware. Prior to joining Aware, Eckel served as the Chief Executive Officer and President North America for the Identity and Security business at Idemia.
Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt [BOULDER, CO]announced that Yasso Co-Founders and current Co-CEOs, Drew Harrington and Amanda Klane, will be transitioning out of their roles as Yasso Co-CEOs, and will be handing the reigns over to a new leader, Craig Shiesley. Prior to Shiesley’s role as Yasso CEO, he was an existing independent member of the Yasso Board. Most recently, Shiesley had been the President and COO of Amplify Snacks, preceded by President roles at the WhiteWave Food Company. As for Yasso’s founders, Harrington and Klane will continue as Board Directors and investors.
Housing Families Inc. [MALDEN, MA] announces the selection of Laura Rosi as Chief Executive Officer. Rosi previously served as HFI’s Director of Advocacy and Homelessness Prevention. Rosi joined Housing Families in 2008 and has been Interim CEO since January 2019.
Kalera [ORLANDO, FL] announced that it has hired Daniel Malechuk as CEO. Kalera’s Co-Founder and current CEO, Cristian Toma, will move to the role of Chief Technical Officer. Malechuk began his career as a District Manager at ALDI and was subsequently promoted to Director of Corporate Purchasing at ALDI’s US headquarters. Malechuk has also served as Vice President at Keysource Foods.
Cocoon Health [SUNNYVALE, CA] announced the appointment of its new CEO, Kate Whitcomb. Whitcomb comes to Cocoon Health from HAX, a venture capital. Prior to her experience at HAX, Whitcomb held leadership roles at Target Corporation.
Health Net of California and California Health & Wellness [LOS ANGELES] announced the appointment of J. Brian Ternan as the President and Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Ternan served as Senior Vice President, Anthem Inc., and President with Anthem Blue Cross of California in Thousand Oaks, California. Previously, he was the Senior Vice President, Aetna Inc., and President of Aetna’s West region in Woodland Hills, California.
New Jersey Resources [WALL, NJ] (NYSE: NJR) announced the appointment of Steve Westhoven as President and Chief Executive Officer of NJR and its principal subsidiaries, including New Jersey Natural Gas, effective October 1, 2019. Laurence M. Downes will retire as CEO on September 30, 2019 and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board until January 2020.
Tourism Toronto [TORONTO, ON] announced the appointment of Scott Beck as President and CEO. For the past 14 years, Beck has served as the President and CEO of Visit Salt Lake in Salt Lake City, UT. Before joining Visit Salt Lake, Beck worked in the hotel industry for 18 years, most recently with Ocean Properties Ltd. (OPL) as the General Manager of the Salt Lake Marriott City Center.
Fusion Risk Management, Inc. [CHICAGO, IL] announced it has named Michael Campbell as CEO. Fusion Founder David Nolan will assume the role of Strategic Advisor to support and contribute to product strategy, customer success, corporate development and company culture. Most recently, Campbell was CEO at International Decision Systems. Prior to IDS, Campbell served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at FICO.
VitalPet [HOUSTON] has appointed an Interim CEO, Jeff Anapolsky, effective September 12, 2019. The Board relieved Benjamin Thomas of his position and responsibilities as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Prime Automotive Group [NEW YORK] announced that it has appointed Kevin Westfall as Interim CEO. Westfall currently serves as Chairman of GPB Capital’s automotive strategy, a position he will retain. Westfall replaces David Rosenberg who has been relieved of his duties. Westfall was most recently the co-founder and CEO of Vroom. Prior to founding Vroom, Westfall spent 14 years at AutoNation, as Senior Vice President of Sales. This included new and used vehicle sales, service, parts, collision, finance and insurance. Before joining AutoNation, Westfall was the Founder and President of BMW Financial Services.
Central Garden & Pet Company [WALNUT CREEK, CA] (NASDAQ: CENT) has appointed Timothy (“Tim”) Cofer as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 14, 2019. Cofer will also join the Company’s Board of Directors. Cofer succeeds George Roeth, who, as previously announced, will retire from his management and Board positions on September 28, 2019. Cofer most recently worked for over 25 years at Mondelēz International, where he held a variety of executive positions, including most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer.
Friedman Industries, Incorporated [LONGVIEW, TX] (NYSE American: FRD) announced the appointment of Michael J. Taylor as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective September 12, 2019. Taylor has served as the Interim President and Interim Chief Executive Officer since February 12, 2019 and has served as a director of the Company since December 2016 and as Chairman of the Board of Directors since June 2017. Taylor will continue to serve as a director of the Company and Chairman of the Board. Prior to joining the Company in December 2016 and his prior retirement, Taylor served as President of Cargill Metals Supply Chain from 2003 to 2014.
Vivex Biologics, Inc. [ATLANTA, GA & MIAMI, FL] announced that Peter Wehrly has been appointed the new CEO. Wehrly is the former CEO and serves as the current Chairman of the Board of Synaptive Medical. Wehrly served in several leadership positions at Covidien including Group President heading the global businesses in Western Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining Covidien, he held various general management positions within Medtronic Inc., including Senior Vice-President Medtronic, President Spinal & Biologics and President of Medtronic Sofamor Danek.
