Stackery [PORTLAND, OR] announced that it has appointed Tim Zonca as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, effective September 23, 2019. Zonca previously served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Puppet.
Sanmina Corporation [SAN JOSE, CA] (NASDAQ: SANM) announced the appointment of Hartmut Liebel as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 30, 2019. Liebel will succeed Michael Clarke who will remain in an advisory capacity through a transition period. Prior to joining Sanmina in July as President and Chief Operating Officer, Liebel served as President and Chief Executive Officer of iQor.
Oracle Corporation [REDWOOD SHORES, CA] (NYSE: ORCL) announced that Mark V. Hurd, Chief Executive Officer of Oracle, will take a leave of absence for health related reasons.
Applied Minerals, Inc. [NEW YORK] (OTCQB:AMNL) announce it has appointed Mario Concha, the current Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, as President and Chief Executive Officer, replacing Andre Zeitoun who resigned effective September 9, 2019. Concha has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Applied Minerals since 2016 and a Director of the Company since 2013. Concha served as the President of the Chemical Division of Georgia Pacific Corporation from 1998 until 2005.
FBL Financial Group, Inc. [WEST DES MOINES, IA] (NYSE: FFG) announced that James P. (Jim) Brannen, Chief Executive Officer, has notified the board of directors that he plans to retire in early 2020. Brannen has served as FBL Financial Group’s Chief Executive Officer since August of 2012. He has been with the company for 29 years, holding various key positions in finance and executive management including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Treasurer.
Adamas Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [EMERYVILLE, CA] (Nasdaq: ADMS) announced that Neil McFarlane has been named Chief Executive Officer and appointed to the Adamas Board of Directors. McFarlane succeeds Gregory Went, who has been Chairman and CEO of Adamas since the company’s inception. Went will step down from the Board of Directors and transition to a strategic advisory role. McFarlane most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Retrophin, Inc. Previously he held executive and general management positions at leading biopharmaceutical companies, including UCB, Genzyme, and Sangstat Medical Corporation.
Maestro Health [CHICAGO, IL] announced it has accepted the resignation of Founder Rob Butler from the position of Chief Executive Officer and has appointed Craig Maloney as its next CEO, effective Oct. 7, 2019. Maloney most recently served as president of Aon Voluntary Benefits and Enrollments Solutions Division, where he spent 20 years of his career. Prior to Aon, Maloney spent nearly ten years at Marsh Inc.
Cerevel Therapeutics [BOSTON, MA] announced the appointment of Tony Coles as chief executive officer. Coles has been serving as executive chairperson of the board of directors since December 2018 and will retain this role in addition to his new duties. Coles joins Cerevel Therapeutics following a tenure as co-founder and CEO of Yumanity Therapeutics. Coles is a founding investor and continues to serve as executive chairperson of the Board of Directors of Yumanity Therapeutics. Previously, Coles served as chairperson and chief executive officer of Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to Onyx, he was president, chief executive officer and a member of the Board of Directors of NPS Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Imvax, Inc. [PHILADELPHIA, PA] announced that John P. Furey has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and will join the board of directors. Furey succeeds interim CEO David W. Andrews Imvax’s co-founder and Chief Medical Officer Furey was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Spark Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to Spark, Furey served as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Operations at Baxalta.
Farmer Bros. Co. [NORTHLAKE, TX] (NASDAQ: FARM) announced the appointment of Deverl Maserang as President, Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. Maserang succeeds Chris Mottern, who has served as interim Chief Executive Officer since May 2019. Maserang most recently served as President and CEO of Earthbound Farm Organic. Prior to that, Maserang held multiple senior positions at food and beverage companies including Starbucks, Chiquita Brands and Pepsi Bottling Group.
Data Intensity [BEDFORD, MA] announced Philip LaForge as the company’s new President and CEO. Before joining Data Intensity, LaForge was President and Chief Executive Officer of IT Authorities and OneNeck IT Solutions and held senior leadership roles at Nimsoft and CDW Berbee.
Agritek Holdings, Inc. [LOS ANGELES] (OTC: AGTK) announced the appointment of Scott Benson as Chief Executive Officer of Agritek Holdings, Inc. Benson will be replacing Suneil Singh Mundie effective as of September 19th. Mundie has acted as interim CEO. Most recently, Benson is the founder and CEO of Apex Extractions .
Aqua Lung [VISTA, CA] has appointed Matthieu Bazil as its new CEO. Bazil comes to Aqua Lung after highly successful engagements at Fox Racing, Oxbow, Boardriders Inc. (with global leadership roles at both DC Shoes and Quiksilver), and key account management with adidas.
Hermetic Solutions Group, Inc. [TINTON FALLS, NJ] announced the appointment of Keith Barclay to Chief Executive Officer, effective September 28, 2019. Bill Hubbard is retiring as CEO but will continue to serve as a member of the Company’s board of directors. Prior to being appointed President earlier this year, Barclay served as EVP of Sales, Marketing and Business Development. Barclay joined the Hi-Rel Group Division of HSG in 2013 as VP of Sales and Marketing, and previously was Divisional VP of Sales and Marketing at Ametek’s Engineered Materials, Interconnects and Packaging Group.
Armstrong Flooring, Inc. [LANCASTER, PA] (NYSE: AFI) announced that it has appointed Michel Vermette, President, Residential Carpet at Mohawk Industries, as President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board. Armstrong Flooring Chairman Larry S. McWilliams, who has served as interim President and CEO since May 3, 2019, will remain Chairman of the Board. Vermette was named President, Residential Carpet at Mohawk Industries, in February 2019. Vermette previously served as President of Mohawk Group. Vermette also served as Chief Financial Officer for Mohawk’s North American Flooring Business Unit.
ORIX Corporation USA [NEW YORK] announced that Yoshiteru (Terry) Suzuki will become the company’s next President and Chief Executive Officer. Suzuki succeeds current President and CEO, Hideto Nishitani, who will return to the Tokyo headquarters of ORIX Corporation to assume a new role as Assistant to the CEO of ORIX.
Podium Publishing [LOS ANGELES] the appointment of Scott P. Dickey as Chief Executive Officer. Former CEO & Co-Founder, Greg Lawrence, remains as Podium’s Publisher and a key member of the board of directors. Most recently, Dickey was CEO of TEN, The Enthusiast Network (renamed Motor Trend Group). Prior to joining TEN, Dickey was the President & CEO of Competitor Group.
iCIMS, Inc. [HOLMDEL, NJ] announced that its founder Colin Day is moving from CEO of the company to Chairman. Ronald Kasner, iCIMS’ president and COO, will lead business operations as interim CEO while an executive search is conducted.
Art Van Furniture [WARREN, MI] announced that Gary Fazio has been named the new CEO. Fazio served as CEO of Mattress Firm from 2001 to 2010. Fazio became CEO of Simmons Bedding Company in 2010. In 2013, Fazio stepped in as CEO of the combined Serta-Simmons Bedding Company, until this retirement at the end of 2015.
The Telecommunications Industry Association [ARLINGTON, VA] announced that David Stehlin has been named the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 23, 2019. Stehlin succeeds Wes Johnston who is joining his family as they relocate to Hawaii. Most recently, Stehlin served as the General Manager of Lifecycle Service Assurance at Spirent Communications (SPT.L), a global provider of testing, assurance, analytics, and security solutions where his group led the market in 5G network emulation testing. Prior to his tenure at Spirent, Stehlin served as CEO of MRV Communications, President of Overture Networks and CEO and President of Ceterus Networks. He also served as CEO of several start-up ventures, including Valo, Inc. and OnePath Networks.
Stella-Jones Inc. [MONTREAL, QC] (TSX: SJ) announced the appointment of Eric Vachon as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Currently serving as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, Vachon’s appointment will take effect on October 11, 2019, succeeding Brian McManus, who announced his intention to step down in mid-October. Concurrently, Vachon will be joining the Company’s Board of Directors. Vachon is a twelve-year veteran of Stella-Jones and has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility including Director, Treasury and Financial Reporting, Vice President Finance, U.S. Operations and Vice President and Treasurer since joining Stella-Jones in 2007.
Electro Rent [WEST HILLS, CA] announced the appointment of Jay Geldmacher as the company’s new Global CEO and President. Most recently, Geldmacher was the President and CEO of Artesyn Embedded Technologies. Geldmacher will succeed current Electro Rent Global CEO Nigel Brown, who is retiring from day-to-day service but will remain active as a shareholder, Chairman and key strategic advisor to the company.
