Melinta Therapeutics [MORRISTOWN, NJ] (Nasdaq: MLNT) announced that Jennifer Sanfilippo has been named interim chief executive officer and director. Prior to this appointment, Sanfilippo served as senior vice president and general counsel of Melinta. Prior to joining Melinta, Sanfilippo held a series of leadership roles at The Medicines Company.
Faraday Future [LOS ANGELES] announced the appointment of Carsten Breitfeld as Global CEO. YT Jia, FF’s founder, will step down from the CEO position to assume the role of CPUO (Chief Product & User Officer).
Apple Leisure Group® [NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA] announced the appointment of Alejandro Reynal as Chief Executive Officer. In a planned transition, Reynal will succeed Alex Zozaya, who will serve in a full-time capacity as Executive Chairman and lead the Board of Directors. Previously, Reynal served as CEO of Atento. Earlier in his career, Reynal held management positions at Telefonica, The Coca-Cola Company and The Gap, Inc.
Fitness Together Franchise, LLC [ENGLEWOOD, CO] announced that Stephanie Hu will be joining as Chief Executive Officer. HU brings over 20 years of consumer products and health and fitness experience to the Fitness Together brand, most recently serving as the President of Life Time Sport. Hu also served as President of Total Health.
Accent Therapeutics [LEXINGTON, MA] announced the appointment of Shakti Narayan as its Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Narayan was most recently Chief Business Officer of Tango Therapeutics. Prior to Tango, Narayan was Vice President, Head of Transactions at Johnson & Johnson Innovation. Prior to his time at J&J, Narayan led business development as part of the management team at Nodality.
Trinity Industries, Inc. [DALLAS] (NYSE:TRN) announced that Timothy R. Wallace has notified the Company’s Board of Directors of his decision to retire as Chief Executive Officer and President. Wallace joined Trinity in 1975 and has been Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company since 1999.
Corizon Health [BRENTWOOD, TN] announced the appointment of James E. Hyman as Chief Executive Officer. The company also announced that Steve Rector, Hyman’s predecessor, will serve as an advisor to the Board and Company on an ongoing basis. Hyman’s corrections experience includes leading companies that served Federal agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Prisons, as well as 20 state departments of corrections and many county and municipal agencies. He has had responsibility for leading organizations that provided correctional healthcare services, including mental health and behavioral health, as well as working alongside other correctional healthcare providers, including Corizon.
MediSpend [PORTSMOUTH, NH] announced it has named Craig Hauben as chief executive officer. Hauben joined the organization in October, 2018 as president and chief operating officer. Before arriving at MediSpend, Hauben was the executive vice president of Coding Business at Ciox Health and also served as chief operating officer of ArroHealth. Michaeline Daboul, MediSpend co-founder and chief executive officer will now assume an advisory role with the organization so that she can pursue other opportunities.
Cala Health, Inc. [BURLINGAME, CA] announced that it has named Renee Ryan as Chief Executive Officer. Founder and current CEO Kate Rosenbluth will continue to lead in the role of Founder and Chief Scientific Officer and serve on the Board of Directors. Ryan most recently served as Vice President, Venture Investments at Johnson & Johnson Innovation.
Incipio® Group [IRVINE, CA] announced the appointment of Brian Stech as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Stech served as President of ZAGG Inc. Stech held various executive leadership roles at ZAGG including Chief Commercial Officer, President of ZAGG Business Unit and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing from 2014-2017. Prior to his tenure at ZAGG, Stech was President of SteelSeries from 2008 to 2014.
Tapestry, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: TPR) announced that Jide Zeitlin, the Company’s Chairman of the Board, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Zeitlin succeeds Victor Luis, who is leaving the Company and its Board of Directors. Zeitlin will continue in his role as Chairman. Zeitlin was elected to Tapestry’s Board of Directors in June 2006 and has served as the Chairman of the Board since November 2014. Zeitlin spent the first 20 years of his career at Goldman Sachs, where he held a number of senior management positions, including as a member of Goldman Sachs’s Executive Office and serving as Global Chief Operating Officer of their investment banking businesses.
Farcast Biosciences Inc. [BOSTON, MA] announced the appointment of Maneesh K. Arora as President and CEO of the company. Arora most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Director at Exact Sciences through 2018. Prior to Exact, Maneesh led Third Wave Technologies, Inc.
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. [GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO] (NASDAQ: RRGB) announced that Paul J.B. Murphy III has been appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Company’s Board of Directors, effective October 3, 2019. Murphy succeeds Pattye Moore, who has served as interim Chief Executive Officer since April 2019. Murphy is a highly accomplished restaurant executive whose significant experience includes serving as Executive Chairman of Noodles & Company from 2017 to 2019, serving as Chief Executive Officer of Del Taco Restaurants, Inc. from 2009 to 2017.
Treehouse Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. [LOS ANGELES] announced that Treehouse has hired Raymond J. Lewis as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Lewis will also join Treehouse’s Board of Directors. Lewis most recently served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Care Capital Properties, Inc., following its spin-off from Ventas, Inc. in 2015 until its acquisition by Sabra Healthcare REIT, Inc. in 2017. Prior to Care Capital Properties, Lewis served as President of Ventas from 2010 to 2015, and Chief Investment Officer of Ventas from 2002 to 2010.
Generation Next Franchise Brands, Inc. [SAN DIEGO, CA] (OTCBB: VEND) announced it has named Ryan Polk as interim-CEO. Nick Yates, Founder and outgoing CEO, is assuming the role of Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
Committee for Children [SEATTLE, Wa] announced that its board of directors has selected Colleen Oliver as chief executive officer (CEO), effective September 16, 2019. Oliver succeeds Joan Cole Duffell, who announced plans to retire last February. Most recently, Oliver served as vice president of school leadership at the New Teacher Center. Before that, Oliver was executive director of the Sheri and Les Biller Family Foundation.
SRW [CHICAGO, IL] announced that Kate Weidner will succeed partner, Charlie Stone as CEO. Stone will remain Chairman of SRW. Over the last four years, Weidner has served SRW as its COO, Account Lead and Chief Strategist. Prior to SRW, Weidner, a Medill trained journalist, honed her skills at NBC-Comcast and led production at Frequency540.
Bolt Biotherapeutics, Inc. [REDWOOD CITY, CA] announced that it has appointed Randall Schatzman to the position of chief executive officer and as a member of Bolt’s board of directors. Schatzman most recently served as president and CEO of Alder BioPharmaceuticals, Inc.
Technical Toolboxes [HOUSTON] announced that Drew Lafleur has been promoted to be its next President & Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Technical Toolboxes, Lafleur served as Director of Upstream Solutions for TeQnovation, spent over a decade with ConocoPhillips.
Duluth Holdings Inc. [MOUNT HOREB, WI] (NASDAQ: DLTH), announced that Stephanie Pugliese resigned as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a Board member, effective as of August 29, 2019. The Board of Directors appointed Steve Schlecht, currently serving as the Company’s Executive Chairman, to the role of Chief Executive Officer, effectively August 30, 2019.
Ethos [BOSTON] announced that the organization’s Board of Directors has appointed Valerie Frias as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Dale Mitchell, who is retiring after nearly 30 years of service, effective September 13, 2019. Frias has more than 20 years of professional experience and most recently was the Executive Director of Greater Boston PFLAG. Prior to PFLAG, Frias served in leadership roles at the Allston Brighton Community Development Corporation.
Accume Partners [NEW YORK] announced that Managing Director Michael Barrack has been chosen to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. Barrack previously headed the Client Services Division of Compushare, and was the Chief Executive Officer of iPay Technologies.
