Nautilus, Inc. [VANCOUVER, WA] (NYSE: NLS) announced that it has named James “Jim” Barr IV as Chief Executive Officer. Barr will assume day-to-day leadership of the Company on July 29 and will also join Nautilus, Inc.’s board of directors. Barr most recently served as Group President at Ritchie Bros. Prior to Ritchie Bros., Barr was EVP and Chief Digital Officer of OfficeMax.
Gilead Sciences, Inc. [FOSTER CITY, CA] (NASDAQ: GILD) announced that Christi L. Shaw will join the company as Chief Executive Officer of Kite, a Gilead Company, and will become a member of Gilead’s senior leadership team. Shaw currently serves as Senior Vice President of Eli Lilly &. Co., and President of Lilly Bio-Medicines. Prior to joining Lilly, Shaw most recently served as U.S. Country Head and President of Novartis Corp. and North American Head of Novartis Oncology.
Accenture [NEW YORK] (NYSE: ACN) announced that Julie Sweet has been appointed chief executive officer. David Rowland, currently interim chief executive officer, has been appointed executive chairman. Sweet is currently chief executive officer of Accenture’s business in North America. Previously, Sweet was Accenture’s general counsel, secretary and chief compliance officer. As a member of Accenture’s senior leadership team for nearly a decade. Prior to joining Accenture, Sweet was a partner for 10 years in the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.
Evolution Petroleum Corporation [HOUSTON, TX](NYSE American: EPM) announced that it appointed Jason Brown as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company Robert Herlin, who has been serving as the Interim CEO since May 31, 2018, will remain as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Brown is the founder of LongBow Energy, and previously was a co-founder and corporate development officer of Halcon Resources.
Ablative Solutions, Inc. [SAN JOSE, CA] announced that Kate Rumrill has been appointed as the new President and CEO. Rumrill will also serve on the board of directors for the company. Rumrill most recently served as president and CEO of NeoSync, Inc., and she will remain on the board of directors for NeoSync, Inc. Prior to NeoSync, Rumrill was vice president, global medical affairs for Covidien’s peripheral vascular business.
Yumanity Therapeutics [CAMBRIDGE, MA] announced the appointment of Richard Peters, as chief executive officer. Peters will also become a member of the company’s board of directors. Peters is succeeding founding CEO Tony Coles, who will transition to the role of executive chairperson of the board of directors. The appointment will take effect on September 3, 2019. Peters is joining Yumanity Therapeutics from Merrimack Pharmaceuticals where he served as its president, chief executive officer, and a member of the board of directors.
Diamond Hill Investment Group, Inc. [COLUMBUS, OH] (NASDAQ: DHIL) announced that its board of directors has appointed Heather E. Brilliant to serve as its President and Chief Executive Officer, effective in September 2019. In addition, Brilliant will be appointed to the company’s board of directors, and will serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Hill Capital Management, Inc., the company’s wholly–owned subsidiary. Brilliant succeeds Christopher M. Bingaman, who will continue with the firm as a portfolio manager for the Diamond Hill Long-Short Fund. Most recently, Brilliant served as Chief Executive Officer, Americas with First State Investments.
Tiaki Therapeutics [CAMBRIDGE, MA] announced that Suzanne L. Bruhn has been appointed as chief executive officer and president and joins the Board of Directors. Bruhn succeeds interim CEO Barbara Tate, the chief strategy officer of the Dementia Discovery Fund, who will remain on Tiaki’s Board of Directors. Bruhn’s most recent role was president and chief executive officer of Proclara Biosciences. Prior to Proclara, she served as president and CEO of Promedior, Inc. Previously, Bruhn spent 13 years at Shire Human Genetic Therapies (HGT), a division of Shire PLC, where she held a series of positions of increasing responsibility that led to the role of senior vice president of strategic planning and program management.
Chilton Trust [STAMFORD, CT] announced that Pepper Anderson has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Anderson will succeed Garrison duP. Lickle, who will become Vice Chairman. Lickle has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Chilton Trust since its inception in 2010. Prior to joining Chilton, Anderson spent more than 20 years with J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where she most recently served as Managing Director and Market Manager for Connecticut and Westchester County, NY.
Christian City Inc. [UNION CITY, GA] announced that Keith Horton has joined as the chief executive officer. Prior to his new role at Christian City, Horton was the delivery director at First Data.
Cutera, Inc. [BRISBANE, CA] announced that David H. Mowry has been named Chief Executive Officer. Mowry has also been appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors. Mowry succeeds Jason Richey, who has served as Interim CEO since January 7, 2019. Most recently, Mowry served as President and CEO of Vyaire Medical. Prior to Vyaire, Mowry was the President and CEO of Tornier Inc. Prior to Tornier, Mowry served as President of Covidien’s Neurovascular Division.
Host Analytics [REDWOOD CITY, CA] announced that Grant Halloran has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Ron Baden, who has served as interim CEO, will resume his role as Chief Revenue Officer of Host Analytics. Most recently, Halloran was the Chief Commercial Officer at OmniSci, a San Francisco-based provider of analytics solutions. Previously, Halloran served as Chief Marketing Officer at Anaplan, a global SaaS company, from 2015 to 2017. Additional leadership roles include serving as Global VP and General Manager at Infor, as well as founder and CEO at Orbis.
Inland Empire Health Plan [RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA] has announced IEHP Chief Operating Officer Jarrod B. McNaughton will succeed Bradley P. Gilbert as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 20, 2019. McNaughton has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience, including recent roles as President of Kettering Medical Center in Ohio and Executive Vice President of the Kettering Health Network. McNaughton joined IEHP as COO in May 2018.
Ascensus [DRESHER, PA] announced that David Musto, currently president of the organization, will add chief executive officer responsibilities to his role, effective January 1, 2020. Bob Guillocheau, currently chairman and CEO of Ascensus, will continue to serve as chairman. Musto joined Ascensus in 2017. With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, Musto previously served as president of Great-West Investments, executive vice president of Empower Retirement, and CEO of J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services.
Life Fitness [ROSEMONT, IL] announced the appointment of Chris Clawson as CEO. Clawson served as President of Life Fitness from 2010 to 2016 and most recently was Chairman of the Sports and Fitness Industry Association. Clawson succeeds Jason Worthy. Clawson first joined Life Fitness in 1994 in a product development role. After 10 years with the company, he went on to several fitness industry leadership roles, including President of Matrix Fitness Systems, before returning in 2010.
Neptune Wellness Solutions Inc. [LAVAL, QC] (NASDAQ: NEPT) announced the appointment of Michael Cammarata as its Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors. After over 4 years, Jim Hamilton has stepped down from his role as CEO and Director but will remain as an advisor to the Board. Cammarata is the co-founder of Schmidt’s Naturals, now a business unit of Unilever.
Harvard Bioscience, Inc. [HOLLISTON, MA] (Nasdaq: HBIO) announced that James Green has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Green has been a member of the Company’s Board since April 2015, and Chairman of the Board since June 2017, and will continue to serve as Chairman. Green will succeed Jeff Duchemin as President and CEO. Green served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Analogic Corporation from 2007 to 2016. More recently, Green served as President of Spacelabs Healthcare.
EarthShare [BETHESDA, MD] announced that Bradley Leibov will join as its new chief executive officer. Leibov most recently served as President and CEO of Liberty Prairie Foundation, where he launched pioneering new programs and investments to improve the health of land, water, and communities in the Midwest. Leibov succeeds EarthShare’s interim CEO, Deb Furry, who will resume her position on the EarthShare national board of directors.
The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority [FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA] has named Victor Hoskins as its new president and chief executive officer. Hoskins will succeed Gerald Gordon who retired in late 2018 after being with the FCEDA for 35 years and its president and CEO since 1987. Hoskins is currently Director of Economic Development for Arlington County, Virginia, where he helped lead the successful regional effort to bring Amazon’s HQ2 to Northern Virginia. Hoskins previously served as Deputy Mayor of Planning and Economic Development for the District of Columbia.
MomentFeed [SANTA MONICA, CA] announced that it has appointed Nick Hedges CEO. Hedges is the former President and CEO of Velocify. Hedges has held senior positions at Bain & Company, Accenture.com, and Ogilvy & Mather.
Westhill Inc. [ATLANTA, GA] announced the appointment of George Jones as chief executive officer. Jones has been a leader in the property claims area at nationally-known companies, including USAA, Farmers Insurance, and Chubb.
JouleSmart Solutions Inc. [PORTLAND, OR] announced John DeMaio has been named President and CEO of the company. Prior to joining JouleSmart, DeMaio was General Manager of Siemens Smart Infrastructure.
Veterans Resource Centers of America [SANTA ROSA, CA] announced the appointment of Chris Johnson as President and Chief Executive Officer. Johnson succeeds co-founder Peter Cameron, whose is retiring. Johnson joins VRC after serving most recently as Interim Executive Director of Evergreen Treatment Services. Before joining ETS, Johnson was Chief Executive Officer of Woodcraft Rangers.
Canvas GFX [BOSTON, MA] announced the appointment of Patricia Hume as CEO. Hume has held a long list of notable positions including Chief Revenue Officer at Convio Inc, which was acquired by Blackbaud, SVP Global Channels at SAP AG, Group VP of Avaya’s SMB Division, CEO of VerticalNet Markets as well as numerous senior management positions during her 17 year service with IBM. Hume’s most recent position was Chief Operating Officer at iPass Inc. which was acquired in February 2019. In addition, Hume is co-founder of Wisdom LLP.
