Benevis LLC [MARIETTA, GA] announced that Rich Beckman has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Beckman previously led Great Expressions as its CEO. Beckman is also a founding member of the Association of Dental Support Organizations.
Photon Control Inc. [VANCOUVER, BC] (TSX: PHO) announced the appointment of Nigel Hunton as its President, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors effective May 2, 2019. Most recently, Hunton served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Ferrotec USA and prior to that, as CEO of MBA Polymers. Hunton was previously Board Chair and CEO of Edwards Limited.
Alacura Medical Transportation Management [DALLAS, TX] announced the appointment of Ken Van Cara as Chief Executive Officer. Van Cara most recently served as President and COO of Clarus Healthcare. Prior to serving as President and COO of Clarus Healthcare, Ken held various leadership roles across healthcare services and managed care organizations such as EviCore, Magellan Health Services, and UnitedHealth Group. Mr. Van Cara received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University.
Pretzels, Inc. [BLUFFTON, IN] announced that Greg Pearson has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Pearson succeeds Chip Mann, who will continue to serve the Company as the Executive Vice President of Sales and as a member of the Company’s board. Most recently, Pearson served as Head of Marketing and prior to that was the VP/GM of Private Brands at Chewy.com. Before Chewy, Pearson served as the VP/GM of the Pasta Business Unit of Conagra Foods/Treehouse Foods.
TIBCO Software Inc. [PALO ALTO, CA] announced that Dan Streetman has been appointed as its new chief executive officer. Streetman joins TIBCO from BMC Software, where he was executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. Current CEO Murray Rode has been named vice chairman of TIBCO. Streetman previously held senior transformative roles at leading software companies such as Salesforce, C3, Amdocs, and Siebel Systems.
Jintel Health, Inc. [RICHMOND, CA] announced the appointment of David C. Dvorak as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. The Company’s founder, Ping Zhang will assume the new role of President. Dvorak served in various executive positions with Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. from 2001 to 2017, including as President and Chief Executive Officer from 2007 to 2017. Dvorak was also previously an executive officer with STERIS plc from 1996 to 2001. In addition, Dvorak served on the Board of Directors of the Advanced Medical Technology Association from 2007 to 2017, including as Chairman from 2012 to 2014.
The Mattress Firm [HOUSTON, TX] announced the acceptance of the resignation of Executive Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Stagner. Stagner served as CEO from February 2010 to March 2016.
Red Dot Corporation [TUKWILA, WA] announced that Nick Janus has been promoted to the role of chief executive officer. Janus joined Red Dot in 2015 as its CFO, later acting as general manager of its European and Chinese operations, and finally assuming the role of president in 2018. Prior to overseeing Red Dot’s operations, Janus was vice president of finance at C.C. Filson Co. and served in senior finance positions at Philips.
Collinear [SANTA CLARA, CA] announced that Aamir Hussain has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Hussain was Chief Technology Officer at CenturyLink. Before CenturyLink, Hussain held senior leadership roles with Liberty Global, Covad, TELUS, Qwest, Bellsouth and Motorola.
The Webster [NEW YORK] announces it has promoted Laurent Malecaze to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Malecaze joined The Webster in 2015 as Chief Operating Officer and was appointed President of the Company in 2018. Malecaze had previously spent several years as strategy consultant at Bain & Company.
IGF Oncology, LLC [ST. PAUL, MN] has named Gary G. Altman as its new Chief Executive Officer. Prior to IGF Oncology, Altman served as CEO of Provista Diagnostics Inc. Altman also served in leadership roles at several public and private biotech and pharma companies including Human Longevity, Beckman Coulter, Terumo BCT, and Sequoia Pharmaceuticals.
Prototek Sheetmetal Fabrication [CONTOOCOOK, NH] announced that it has appointed William (“Bill”) Gress as the Company’s new CEO. Gress most recently served as President of South America for the Brunswick Corporation. Previously, Gress was President of Brunswick Latin America, holding chief P&L responsibility.
KMS Financial Services, Inc. [SEATTLE, WA] a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. (NYSE American: LTS) announced that it has named Erinn Ford Chief Executive Officer, as Eric Westberg transitions to the role of Chairman Emeritus. Ford became President of KMS in February 2018 and will continue in that position. Ford previously served as Senior Vice President, Advisor Relations, and President of Cetera Advisors before moving to KMS.
Novatech, Inc. [NASHVILLE, TN] announced the appointment of Dan Cooper as CEO. Founder Darren Metz will continue his ownership interest and will take a new role as Executive Chairman. Cooper joined Xerox’s Global Imaging Systems subsidiary, Electronic Systems in 1999 and was appointed to the position of President in 2000. In 2005, Cooper was promoted to the HQ of GIS. Cooper retired from GIS as President in August 2018. Prior to joining ESI, Cooper spent 10 years with Danka Industries, where he served as a regional general manager.
Therma Holdings LLC [SAN JOSE, CA] announced the hiring of Jeffrey Sprau as the new Chief Executive Officer. Sprau succeeds the founder, Joe Parisi, who will become Chairman of Therma’s Board of Directors. Earlier in his career, Sprau spent 20+ years with Trane and Johnson Controls before becoming President of the U.S. Division of Safway. Most recently, Sprau served as President of BrandSafway’s Commercial & Industrial Division, a $1.8 billion business.
CooperRiis [ASHEVILLE, NC] announced the appointment of Eric A. Levine as its new President & CEO. Levine is the former Executive Director of ClearView Communities. Levine replaces Michael Groat who departed CooperRiis to become Chief Clinical Officer at Silver Hill Hospital.
The American Council for Technology – Industry Advisory Council [FAIRFAX, VA] announced that David M. Wennergren has been named as the ACT-IAC Chief Executive Officer, effective May 13, 2019. Wennergren currently serves as a Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting LLP. Wennergren replaces current ACT-IAC Executive Director Kenneth Allen who has admirably served in the position for 14 years. Prior to joining Deloitte, he served in a number of senior positions, most recently in the private sector as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Professional Services Council and as a Vice President at CACI International Inc. Prior to that, his time in government included serving as the Department of the Navy Chief Information Officer, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Information Management, Integration and Technology/Deputy Chief Information Officer, Vice Chair of the U.S. Government’s Federal CIO Council and Department of Defense (DoD) Assistant Deputy Chief Management Officer. Wennergren is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and a CIO-SAGE at the Partnership for Public Service.
Silver Bullet Water Treatment, LLC [GOLDEN, CO] announced that it has chosen Bradley “Brad” Walsh as the organization’s chief executive officer and board member. Brad previously served as Silver Bullet’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
Prime Therapeutics LLC [EAGAN, MN] announced that it has selected Kenneth H. Paulus as president and CEO, effective May 7, 2019. Paulus comes to Prime with more than 30 years of leadership in the health care sector. Currently, Paulus is an executive advisor with Water Street Healthcare Partners. From 2005 to 2015, Paulus held leadership roles at Allina Health; including CEO, president and chief operating officer. Earlier in his career, Paulus served as president and CEO of Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. Prior to Atrius, Paulus was COO of Partners Community Healthcare.
The Real Estate Standards Organization [RALEIGH, NC] announced that it has appointed Sam DeBord Chief Executive Officer. DeBord has served in a wide range of industry leadership positions including as President’s Liaison for MLS and Data Management with the National Association of REALTORS®. DeBord sits on the Board of Directors for NAR, Second Century Ventures, and CRMLS. Previously, DeBord worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in management and technology consulting. DeBord is also a recognized real estate industry writer for REALTOR® Magazine, Inman News, and the Swanepoel Trends Report. DeBord replaces Jeremy Crawford as CEO of RESO, who joined the organization as its Executive Director in April 2015 and recently became Chief Executive Officer of First Multiple Listing Service.
National Equity Fund [CHICAGO, IL] announced the appointment of Matthew Reilein as president and CEO, effective June 1, 2019. Reilein will succeed Joseph S. Hagan who is retiring after 19 years with the organization. Reilein joins National Equity Fund from Cresset Partners where he served as managing director and partner overseeing community development and part of the Opportunity Zone team. Prior to that role, Reilein has held additional positions of leadership including managing director and head of Impact Investing at O’Brien-Staley Partners and managing director, community development banking with JP Morgan Chase leading New Markets Tax Credit and intermediary lending with community development banking.
USPack [ORLANDO, FL] announced that the company has named Mark Glazman as CEO. Glazman, who has been an integral part of USPack’s growth during his nearly two decades with the company, succeeds Jim van Leenen, who will continue to play an active role in the business as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Autism Learning Partners [PASADENA, CA] announced that it has appointed Richard Fish as Chief Executive Officer. Fish succeeds Jeffrey Winter, who is retiring. Prior to joining ALP, Fish was most recently CEO of Brown & Toland Medical Group. Fish has also held leadership positions in healthcare companies including Talbert Medical Group, Heritage Provider Network and FHP International.
Impact Group [BOISE, ID] announced the appointment of Lloyd Johnson as Chief Executive Officer. Johnson’s most recent experience was as President and CEO of Mary’s Gone Crackers. Previously, Johnson was the Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer at Diamond Foods. Johnson’s has also served in senior leadership roles at Expedia, Kraft Foods, Nabisco, and E. & J. Gallo Winery.
BridgeStreet [RESTON, VA] announced that it has appointed Kamal Advani as Chief Executive Officer to succeed Sean Worker, who will be leaving to pursue other interests. Advani is a longstanding BridgeStreet Board member and a Managing Director of BridgeStreet’s controlling shareholder, Versa Capital Management, LLC.
