FedEx Corp. [MEMPHIS, TN] (NYSE:FDX) announced that David L. Cunningham, president and chief executive officer of FedEx Express, will retire effective December 31, 2018. Raj Subramaniam, currently executive vice president, chief marketing and communications officer of FedEx Corporation, will succeed Cunningham effective January 1, 2019. Subramaniam served as president of FedEx Express in Canada as senior vice president of international marketing. Subramaniam was then promoted to executive vice president of marketing in 2013 at FedEx Services, prior to being named executive vice president and chief marketing and communications officer at FedEx Corporation in 2017.
Reaves Asset Management [NEW YORK] announced that Joseph “Jay” Rhame III will succeed Ronald J. Sorenson as the Firm’s Chief Executive Officer on December 31, 2018. Sorenson will continue in his roles as Chairman of the Board and Chief Investment Officer through the end of 2019. Rhame joined Reaves Asset Management in 2005.
PAR Technology Corporation [NEW HARTFORD, NY] (NYSE:PAR) announced that Savneet Singh, a member of the Company’s Board of Directors since April 2018, has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) and President of the Company. The Company also announced that Donald H. Foley has stepped-down as CEO and President, and as a director of the Company. Singh is a partner of CoVenture, LLC.
The Villages Health [THE VILLAGES, FL] announced the appointment of Bob Trinh as its new Chief Executive Officer. Trinh joins The Villages Health from Oak Street Health. There he served as the President for the Illinois Division, the organization’s largest market. Prior to Oak Street Health, Trinh served as the Market Vice President for Orlando and South Florida at DaVita Medical Group.
QEP Resources, Inc. [DENVER, CO] (NYSE: QEP) announced that Chairman, President and CEO Charles “Chuck” Stanley has elected to retire from the Company, effective January 14, 2019. The board has named Timothy “Tim” Cutt as QEP’s President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 15, 2019. Cutt will also serve as a member of the Company’s board. Cutt brings 35 years of oil and gas experience – from ExxonMobil, where he served as President of ExxonMobil de Venezuela SA and President of Hibernia Management and Development Company, to BHP Billiton Ltd., where he served as the President of Petroleum from July 2013 through February 2016.
Gannett Co., Inc. [MCLEAN, VA] (NYSE: GCI) announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Robert J. Dickey has informed the company’s board of directors of his intention to retire. Dickey will continue to lead the company as president and CEO during this process and has agreed to stay on until May 7, 2019, or, if earlier, until a successor is named.
Lam Research Corporation [FREMONT, CA] (Nasdaq: LRCX) announced that it has accepted Martin Anstice’s resignation as chief executive officer and a member of the Board and has named Tim Archer president and chief executive officer (CEO). Archer has also been appointed to the Board of Directors of Lam Research. Prior to this appointment, Archer was the company’s president and chief operating officer (COO).
Public Interest Registry [RESTON, VA] announced that it has selected Jonathon Nevett as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective December 17, 2018. Nevett co-founded Donuts Inc. in 2010 and helped to raise in excess of $150 million to form a registry of more than 240 top-level domains. He served as Donuts’ executive vice president for corporate affairs and on its Board of Directors. Nevett is also a founding board member of the Domain Name Association, the domain name industry’s trade association. Previously, Nevett served as senior vice president at Network Solutions, where he was responsible for policy, government affairs, registry relations, and the corporate ethics office. He also served as chair of the board of NameJet and Central Registry Solutions.
Cosmo Specialty Fibers [COSMOPOLIS, WA] announced the retirement of Chief Executive Officer Mike Entz and the appointment of Nicholas B. Dottino as Chief Executive Officer. Entz will continue to serve on the company’s Board of Directors. Previously, Dottino was an executive in the non-discretionary consumer products, paper, packaging, and point of purchase sectors in North America, Asia, and Europe working with Weyerhaeuser, Southern Container Corp, RockTenn (today known as WestRock), and a privately-held consumer products company.
The Aging Life Care Association® [TUCSON, AZ] announced the hiring of C. Taney Hamill as Chief Executive Officer. She will also serve as the CEO for the National Academy of Certified Care Managers.Hamill has previously served as Executive Vice President of the Visiting Nurse Association of American.
Internet of Things Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX VENTURE: ITT) announced that it has appointed Ron Shuttleworth as its Chief Executive Officer. Shuttleworth succeeds Michael Frank, who has been with the Company since inception and has stepped down to pursue other business opportunities.
BionorthTX [DALLAS] announced that it has appointed Jorge Varela as President and Chief Executive Officer. Terry Foster, who had been serving as Interim CEO for the organization, will continue to serve on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. Varela most recently was Executive Vice President at the Texas Research and Technology Foundation, where he co-founded and was CEO of VelocityTX.
Chapman Partnership [MIAMI, FL] announced the appointment of its new president and chief executive officer (CEO) Symeria T. Hudson. Hudson will assume her new role on Jan. 2, 2019, succeeding H. Daniel Vincent. Prior to Chapman Partnership, Hudson was based in West London, U.K., as the president of Global Franchises and Innovation for ConvaTec, PLC.
Flow Capital Corp. [TORONTO] (TSXV: FW) is pleased to announce that Alex Baluta has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Baluta most recently served as Founder and CEO of Temperance Capital. Robb McLarty will continue in the role of Chief Investment Officer.
Glympse Bio [CAMBRIDGE, MA] announced the appointment of Caroline J Loew as President and Chief Executive Officer. As Chief Executive Officer, she will also serve on Glympse’s Board. Loew joins Glympse from Bristol-Myers Squibb, where most recently she was Vice President, Head of R&D Strategy and Planning.
Aden & Anais, Inc. [BROOKLYN, NY] announced that it has named Doug Gillespie as Chief Executive Officer. Gillespie has spent more than 11 years working in the baby products industry in executive roles with Munchkin, Inc. and NUK USA.
Cirrus Insight [IRVINE, CA] announced the appointment of Ryan Niemann as Chief Executive Officer. Niemann will succeed Founder Ryan Huff, who served as CEO since the company’s formation in 2011. Niemann joins the company from Binary Tree, where he was President.
Columbia Forest Products [GREENSBORO, NC] announced the appointment of Greg Pray as President & Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2019. Pray will succeed Brad Thompson as CEO. Pray has served with Columbia since 2006, starting as an Executive Vice-President with Columbia’s Flooring Division, and then moving to the Plywood Division as its Executive Vice-President of U.S. Operations.
First Bauxite Corporation [NEW ORLEANS, LA] announced that William J. Rice will be joining the Company as President and Chief Executive Officer effective December 15, 2018. Rice previously served over thirty years (until 2012) in several executive positions with ALCOA Inc. including most recently as Vice President, Mining, Alcoa World Alumina. Rice will be replacing Alan Roughead, who will be retiring from these positions but will remain a director of the Company and continue as a consultant to assist with the transition of leadership.
Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. [HOUSTON] (NYSE: FET) announced that C. Christopher Gaut has been named Chief Executive Officer of the Company by the Board of Directors to replace Prady Iyyanki. Gaut will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board. Gaut has served as a member of Forum’s Board of Directors since 2006 and as Chairman since 2010. In addition, Gaut previously served as Forum’s Chief Executive Officer from 2010 to May 2017. Gaut served at Halliburton Company as President of the Drilling and Evaluation Division and prior to that as Chief Financial Officer, from March 2003 through April 2009. Prior to joining Halliburton in 2003, Gaut was Chief Financial Officer and Co-Chief Operating Officer of Ensco International, a provider of offshore drilling services.
Renewable Energy Group, Inc. [AMES, IO] (NASDAQ: REGI) has named Cynthia (CJ) Warner to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer effective January 14, 2019, at which time she will also join the Board of Directors. Randy Howard, who has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since July 2017, will remain on the Board and assist in the transition. Most recently Warner served as Executive Vice President, Operations for Andeavor. Prior to her most recent role, Warner served as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development of Andeavor.
BitGo Trust Company [PALO ALTO, CA] announced the appointment of Richard J. Corcoran as Chief Executive Officer of, a division of BitGo Holdings, Inc. In 1991, Corcoran joined The First National Bank in Sioux Falls, South Dakota as Executive Vice President of Wealth Management. Prior to joining First National Bank, he spent 10 years as an attorney with the firm of Woods, Fuller, Shultz & Smith.
Revcontent [Sarasota, FL] named Omar Nicola as the company’s next CEO to replace Founder and current CEO, John Lemp, who will remain as Chairman of Revcontent’s Board of Directors. Nicola previously co-founded Kixer. Kixer was acquired by Lakana and its parent company, Nexstar Broadcasting Group, in 2015, where Nicola served as Senior Vice President for Revenue & Operations until 2017.
ServiceSource [DENVER] (NASDAQ: SREV) announced that Christopher M. Carrington has stepped down from his role as CEO. Effective today, Gary B. Moore, a member of the Company’s Board of Directors since November 2016 has been appointed CEO. Moore has been a member of the ServiceSource Board of Directors since November 2016, including his appointment to Executive Chairman in November 2018. Previous to ServiceSource, Moore served most recently from October 2012 to June 2015 as President and COO of Cisco Systems, Inc. Prior to his promotion to this role, Moore was named the first COO in Cisco’s history in 2011. Moore joined Cisco in 2001 as Senior Vice President of the Advanced Services Division and ultimately went on to lead Cisco Global Services. Prior to joining Cisco, Moore was President and CEO of Netigy, a network consulting business.
Medicine Man Technologies Inc. [DENVER] (OTCQX: MDCL) announced Co-founder Andy Williams has been named Interim CEO of Medicine Man Technologies. While assuming the role as Interim CEO, Williams has stepped down as Chairperson of the Board.
Razberi™ Technologies [DALLAS]announced that Doug Dickerson has joined as CE. Founder and former CEO Tom Galvin has been appointed chief product officer to spearhead continued development of the technology he originally invented. Most recently, Dickerson served as CEO of Coban Technologies. Before that, Doug was president of Danaher Tektronix Communications.
Luther Burbank Corporation [SANTA ROSA, CA] announced that, effective January 2, 2019, John G. Biggs, President and Chief Executive Officer, will retire from the Company and Simone Lagomarsino will succeed him in both roles. Biggs will also step down from the board of directors. The Company also announced that Lagomarsino would join the boards of Luther Burbank Corporation and Luther Burbank Savings effective November 30, 2018. Lagomarsino was most recently President and CEO of the Western Bankers Association and a director of Pacific Premier Bancorp. Prior to those roles, Lagomarsino served as CEO of Heritage Oaks Bank, and President and CEO of Heritage Oaks Bancorp.
