First Commerce Bank [LAKEWOOD, NJ] announced that effective November 7, 2018, C. Herbert Schneider‘s service as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank has ended. Schneider had previously announced his retirement from the Bank. The Board of Directors of the Bank had previously established a search committee to identify a new President and CEO, and that search is ongoing.
Geisinger [DANVILLE, PA] announced that it has appointed Jaewon Ryu as interim president and chief executive officer of Geisinger, effective December 1, 2018. Ryu, who has served as executive vice president and chief medical officer since September 2016, succeeds David T. Feinberg who is leaving Geisinger January 3, 2019, to assume a leadership role at Google. Ryu previously served as President of Integrated Care Delivery for Humana. Prior to Humana, he served as the chief medical officer at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System in Chicago.
W. R. Grace & Co. [COLUMBIA, MD] (NYSE: GRA) announced that it has elected Hudson La Force as President and Chief Executive Officer. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Fred Festa is now non-executive Chairman. La Force joined Grace in 2008 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and became President and Chief Operating Officer in February 2016. He was elected to the Grace Board in November 2017.
Global Coalition for Adaptive Research [LEXINGTON, MA] announced Gary Gordon has been named as Interim Chief Executive Officer.
Burgundy [TORONTO] announced that Robert Sankey, Executive Vice President and COO, will assume the position of CEO effective January 1, 2019, succeeding Tony Arrell, who will continue to be active in the firm as Chairman and a large shareholder.
Millennia Patient Services [RALEIGH, NC] announced the appointment of Tom Ormondroyd as Chief Executive Officer. Ormondroyd joins from nThrive, where he was previously the President of Education and Analytics. As part of the announcement, Samara Keaton, current CEO of MPS. Prior to nThrive, Ormondroyd was the Senior Vice President of Education and Analytics at Precyse.
CDK Global, Inc [HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL] (Nasdaq: CDK) announced that Brian Krzanich former chief executive officer of Intel, has joined CDK Global as president and chief executive officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Krzanich succeeds Brian MacDonald who will assist in the transition.Krzanich served as Intel’s CEO from May 2013 to June 2018. Krzanich joined Intel in 1982, became a corporate vice president in 2006, and served until 2010 as vice president and general manager of Assembly and Test. He was senior vice president and general manager of Manufacturing and Supply Chain from 2010 to 2012. He became executive vice president and chief operating officer in 2012.
Colony Capital, Inc. [LOS ANGELES] (NYSE: CLNY) announced that it and its Chief Executive Officer, Richard Saltzman, have reached a mutual agreement in which Saltzman, who has served as CEO since going public four years ago, has resigned as CEO, President and as a director of the Company. Saltzman will remain in a non-executive capacity as Chairman of both Colony Credit Real Estate Inc. and NorthStar Realty Europe, which are externally managed by subsidiaries of the Company. Thomas J. Barrack, Jr., the Company’s Executive Chairman, has taken on the additional role of CEO of the Company. In doing so, Barrack reassumes the position he held when he founded Colony as a private company in 1991, until 2014, when Colony merged into Colony Financial, Inc.
Pacific West Bank [WEST LINN, OR] (OTCBB: PWBO) announced that Terry A. Peterson has joined Pacific West Bank as the Chief Executive Officer. Current President/CEO Robert Seibert will remain with the Bank as President.Most recently, Peterson spent five years as President and CEO and Director of California Bancorp and California Bank of Commerce. Prior, he was a founder, President, and Director of Charter Financial Corp. and Charter Bank.
Mitek Systems, Inc. [SAN DIEGO] (NASDAQ: MITK) announced that Max Carnecchia has been named Chief Executive Officer and appointed to the company’s Board of Directors. Most recently, Carnecchia was CEO of Illuminate Education, Inc. Prior to Accelrys he served as interim CEO of Interwoven.
EverString [SAN MATEO, CA] announced that it has named Santosh Sharan as its new CEO. Sharan has also become a member of EverString’s Board of Directors. Co-founder J.J. Kardwell will remain on the company’s Board as an Executive Director and member of the executive team. Most recently, Sharan was the Chief Operating Officer at Aberdeen. Prior to that role, Sharan was the VP of Product, Growth & Strategy at ZoomInfo.
Deluxe Corporation [ST. PAUL, MN] (NYSE: DLX) announced that Barry C. McCarthy has been named Deluxe’s President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Company’s Board of Directors, effective November 26, 2018. He joins Deluxe after 14 years at First Data, where most recently he served as Executive Vice President and Head of its Network & Security Solutions business.McCarthy succeeds Lee Schram, who last spring announced his intention to retire from the Company.
United Surgical Partners International [DALLAS] announced that Brett Brodnax, President and Chief Development Officer of USPI, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Brodnax, a 19-year veteran of USPI, succeeds Bill Wilcox, who will continue in his role as Chairman of USPI. Brodnax joined USPI in 1999 from Baylor Health Care System.
Jnana Therapeutics [BOSTON] announced that Joanne Kotz a company co-founder, has been named Chief Executive Officer. Kotz has served as Jnana’s president since December 2017. Prior to founding Jnana, Kotz held a leadership position in the F-Prime Biomedical Research Initiative.
Satori Resources Inc. [TORONTO] (TSXV:BUD) announced that Jennifer Boyle has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and a director of the Corporation, and that Bruce Reid has resigned as Chief Executive Officer.
Boston Private Financial Holdings, Inc. [BOSTON] [NASDAQ: BPFH] announced that it has appointed Anthony DeChellis as Chief Executive Officer, effective November 26, 2018. DeChellis will also serve as CEO of Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, a wholly owned banking subsidiary of the Company. DeChellis will succeed current CEO Clayton Deutsch, who will be retiring on November 26, 2018. DeChellis brings over 30 years of industry experience, having served as CEO of Credit Suisse’s Private Bank Americas. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, DeChellis served as Head of Private Wealth Management at UBS. Prior to UBS, he served as Head of International Private Banking for Merrill Lynch Europe. Before joining Boston Private, he was the President of OurCrowd.
National CineMedia, Inc. [CENTENNIAL, CO] (NASDAQ:NCMI) announced that Andrew J. England has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Company’s Board of Directors and that the Company’s President, Clifford E. Marks, has been appointed to the additional role of Interim Chief Executive Officer.
iCAD, Inc. [NASHUA, NH] announced that Ken Ferry has retired from his position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and stepped down as a Director of the Company. Michael Klein, Chairman of iCAD’s Board, will serve as Executive Chairman and Interim CEO. Klein has served as the Chief Executive Officer at Inflection Point since December 2014. Prior to that, Klein was the Chief Executive Officer at SonaCare Medical, LLC.
Sandy Lake Gold Inc. [TORONTO] (TSXV:SLAU) announced the appointment of Patrick Sheridan as Executive Chairman and CEO of the Company. Dan Noone will be stepping down as the Interim CEO but continue in his role as a Director.
PCT LTD [LITTLE RIVER, SC] (OTC Pink: PCTL) announced today that Jody Read, current Chief Operating Officer, was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of PCT LTD and PCT Corp. Read will continue his duties as COO until it is determined that the position needs to be filled by additional personnel. Gary Grieco, PCT LTD’s current CEO, will continue as Chairman of the Board of PCT LTD.
The Oneida Group [COLUMBUS, OH] announced Mark Eichhorn has joined as the company’s new CEO. Eichhorn previously served as President and CEO of The Oneida Group’s core business, Anchor Hocking, from 1994-1999 and its predecessor company, EveryWare Global, Inc., from 2004-2012.
See’s Candies [SAN FRANCISCO] has announced Brad Kinstler will be retiring in the Spring of 2019. The company has selected Pat Egan, currently Sr. Vice President of NV Energy as his successor. Egan will begin his involvement with See’s on November 12, 2018, working with Kinstler to transition into the role of President and CEO.
Volt Information Sciences, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE-AMERICAN:VISI) appointed Linda Perneau to serve as a member of the Board, and as the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Perneau has been serving as the Company’s Interim President and Chief Executive Officer since June 6, 2018.
Owens & Minor, Inc. [RICHMOND, VA] (NYSE: OMI) announced that Robert C. Sledd, a member of the company’s board of directors, has been elected Chairman and Interim President and Chief Executive Officer. Sledd succeeds P. Cody Phipps, who served as Chairman, President and CEO. Sledd has been a director of Owens & Minor since 2007 and most recently served until his appointment as Interim President and CEO as a member of the Executive and Audit Committees and Chairman of the Compensation & Benefits Committee. Sledd most recently served as a Managing Partner of Pinnacle Ventures, LLC and Sledd Properties, LLC.
One Warm Coat [NEW YORK] announced it has named Beth W. DeWolf as President and CEO. One Warm Coat hired DeWolf to lead the organization’s strategic direction and growth while working closely with the Board of Directors. Most recently, DeWolf worked as Director of Development for the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business.
Logix Federal Credit Union [BURBANK, CA] announced that it has chosen Ana Fonseca as the Credit Union’s next President and CEO. Fonseca, who currently serves as LFCU’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Dave Styler, the company’s current President and CEO, on December 31, 2018.
Laney Directional Drilling Co. [HOUSTON] announced the appointment of Todd N. Miller as the company’s new president and CEO. Miller succeeds Paul Butero, operating general partner of Altos Energy Partners and chairman of Laney’s board of directors. Butero has been acting as Laney’s interim president and CEO since March of this year. Miller previously served in a variety of roles for WolfCreek Energy Group from 2014 to 2017, including president of its trenchless construction company, Strata Underground.
