FOX [NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES] announced that AMC’s President and General Manager Charlie Collier has been appointed as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer of Entertainment. Collier will begin his new role effective November 1st.
Midland States Bancorp, Inc. [EFFINGHAM, IL] (NASDAQ: MSBI) announced that Leon J. Holschbach will retire from his position as Chief Executive Officer of Midland States Bancorp, Inc. on December 31, 2018. Holschbach will continue to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company and Midland States Bank. Upon Holschbach’s retirement, Jeffrey G. Ludwig will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of Midland States Bancorp in addition to his current positions as President of the Company and Chief Executive Officer of Midland States Bank. Ludwig joined the Company in November 2006 as Chief Financial Officer. Ludwig was promoted to Executive Vice President of the Company in October 2010, to President of the Bank in March 2016, and then to President of the Company and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank in March 2018.
Delta Dental [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that it has terminated the employment of Chief Executive Officer Tony Barth. The Board has appointed Chief Financial Officer Mike Castro as acting CEO to lead the Company.
GO SMILE [AUSTIN, TX] announced Rose Wood is the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Wood succeeds former CEO, Dean Leipsner, who will remain on the company’s Board of Directors. Wood joined GO SMILE in 2014 as the EVP of Sales and Marketing.
Protective Insurance Corporation [CARMEL, IN] (NASDAQ: PTVCA) has accepted the resignation of W. Randall Birchfield as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chief Operating Officer. The Company has appointed John “Jay” Nichols as the Company’s Chairman of the Board and Interim Chief Executive Officer. Nichols has served on the Company’s Board of Directors since May 2017, most recently as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Nichols was Chief Executive Officer of AXIS Re from April 2012 until February 2017. Prior to his tenure at AXIS Re, Nichols served as President of RenaissanceRe Ventures Ltd.
NuVasive, Inc. [SAN DIEGO, CA] (NASDAQ: NUVA) announced it has named J. Christopher Barry to succeed Gregory T. Lucier as chief executive officer (CEO) effective November 5, 2018. Mr. Barry will join the NuVasive Board of Directors; Mr. Lucier will continue to serve as chairman of the Board. Currently, Barry serves as senior vice president and president of Surgical Innovations.
XPRIZE [LOS ANGELES] announced that Anousheh Ansari has been named as chief executive officer. Peter H. Diamandis will continue in the role of founder and executive chairman.Prior to this role, Ansari served as the CEO of Prodea Systems, which she co-founded in 2006, and will continue to serve as the executive chairwoman.
Novo Integrated Sciences, Inc. [BELLEVUE, WA] (OTCQB:NVOS) announced the Company has appointed Robert Mattacchione as the Company’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive OfficeR. Mattacchione is the co-founder of Novo Healthnet Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. Novo Integrated Sciences acquired NHL in 2017.

Kingstone Companies, Inc. [KINGSTON, NY] announced that Dale Thatcher has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2019. Thatcher will continue to serve on the Company’s Board of Directors and will remain President of Kingstone Insurance Company and is succeeding Barry Goldstein.
LSI Industries Inc. [CINCINNATI, OH] (NASDAQ: LYTS) announced the appointment of James (Jim) A. Clark as President and Chief Executive Officer effective November 1, 2018. Clark most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Tire Americas Inc. Previously he held executive level roles at Verint Systems, United Technologies Corporation and GE Company.
Codewise [PALO ALTO, CA] announced it has named John Malatesta as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Robert Gryn Codewise’s founding CEO. Malatesta retains his previous roles of president and chief revenue and marketing officer. Gryn has been named Codewise’s Chairman of the Board. Prior to this appointment, Malatesta held multiple leadership and executive roles at IBM, Accenture, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Kaspersky Lab, Schneider Electric and Socialbakers.
The Alberta Electric System Operator [CALGARY, AB] announced that David Erickson, President and Chief Executive Officer, will resign from the organization, effective January 31, 2019. Erickson joined the AESO in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer in 2009. Michael Law will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of the AESO, effective January 31, 2019, following Erickson’s departure. Law is currently the Senior Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the AESO.
Trisura Group Ltd. [TORONTO] (TSX: TSU) announced the appointment of David Clare as President and Chief Executive Office. Clare succeeds Greg Morrison, who will continue his involvement with Trisura as a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Trisura as a Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer last year, Clare was a Vice President at Partners Value Investments LP, Trisura’s largest shareholder.
Sierra Wireless [VANCOUVER, BC] (NASDAQ:SWIR) announced that Kent Thexton has been appointed to the position of President & Chief Executive Officer of the company. Thexton has been serving as interim President & CEO since May 31st, 2018 and will assume the permanent role on November 1, 2018.
Aerospace Resource Group [MIAMI] announced that Jim Martin is taking an expanded role with the Company as Chief Executive Officer. Martin partnered with Trivest Partners in 2017 to acquire the Company. In addition to his ownership stake in the company, he has served on the Company’s Board of Directors. Martin brings over 25 year’s experience in growing companies, and he has held numerous leadership roles in the aviation industry including his role as President and Chief Executive Officer of Avborne from 2001 to 2008, a former Trivest portfolio company.
Affinity Gaming [LAS VEGAS, NV] announced that Anthony (“Tony”) Rodio has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Since 2011, Rodio has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors of Tropicana Entertainment, Inc.
CollegeFindMe-ColleMark LLC [BOSTON] announced that it has appointed Esin Sile as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Sile previously held the position of Strategic Advisor and Senior Vice President at ColleMark LLC, CollegeFindMe.com and CEO of MindBridge Partners. In addition, Christina Bai stepped down from Chief Executive Officer to Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Myers Emergency Power Systems [BETHLEHEM, PA] announced the appointment of John Daly to the position of chief executive officer. Prior to joining Myers EPS, Daly served as the vice president of sales for NICOR Lighting.
Infomart Data Centers [SAN JOSE, CA] announced the appointment of distinguished data center executive Brian Cox as Chief Executive Officer and member of the board of directors. Cox succeeds Phil Koen, who became interim CEO in June and will remain actively involved in the company as a member of the board of directors. Cox was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Cologix. and previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Cologix.
Tetra Bio-Pharma Inc. [ORLEANS, ON] (TSX VENTURE: TBP) announced the permanent appointment of Guy Chamberland as CEO and CSO having most recently held the position of CEO in an interim capacity. Chamberland worked for more than 10 years as an executive with several biopharmaceutical companies and was a member of the investment committee of a venture capital fund for 7 years.
Arch Insurance [HAMILTON, Bermuda] announced that Matt Shulman will assume the newly created role of CEO, Arch Insurance North America, effective January 1, 2019. In this role, he will lead Arch Insurance’s operations in the United States and Canada.
Navy Federal Credit Union [VIENNA, VA] announced that the company has selected Mary McDuffie as the new President and CEO. McDuffie will assume her new role effective 18 January 2019. McDuffie currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Navy Federal. Previously, McDuffie served as the executive vice president of Delivery Channels and Communications. Prior to Navy Federal, McDuffie served as senior vice president of marketing for Star Systems, Inc. and as a senior manager at J. Walter Thompson.
Constellation Brands, Inc. [VICTOR, NY] (NYSE: STZ) announced Bill Newlands will assume the role of president and chief executive officer (CEO), succeeding current CEO Rob Sands, on March 1, 2019. Sands will assume the role of executive chair. Newlands joined Constellation Brands in 2015 as executive vice president and chief growth officer.
Userful Corporation [CALGARY, AB] announced that the company has named John Marshall as Chief Executive Officer. Tim Griffin, Userful Founder and former President remains with the company as Chief Technology Officer.
