Child360 [LOS ANGELES] announced the appointment of William (Bill) Sperling as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Sperling previously served as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel prior to being named the organization’s Acting CEO most recently.
Dispersive Networks [ALPHARETTA, GA] has named Edward J. Wood as its president and chief executive officer. Wood succeeds Richard Harrison, who will become the company’s chief operating officer. Wood spent 23 years in the Communications, Media and Technology Group at Accenture.
FileWave [INDIANAPOLIS, IN] announces the appointment of Rolf Anweiler as CEO. Nurdan Eris, founder and former CEO, will stay on as chairwoman of the board. Anweiler previously served as the senior vice president of marketing and a member of the global senior leadership team for Mapp Digital.
Ocwen Financial Corporation [WEST PALM BEACH, FL] (NYSE:OCN) announced that Glen A. Messina became the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ocwen and a member of Ocwen’s Board of Directors.
Nimbus Therapeutics [CAMBRIDGE, MA] has named Jeb Keiper President and Chief Executive Officer. Keiper succeeds . Keiper joined Nimbus in 2014 and initially served as Nimbus’ Chief Business Officer. Prior to Nimbus, Keiper was VP of Business Development at GSK Oncology and spent a decade at GlaxoSmithKline in various BD leadership roles.
Max Interactive, Inc. [COSTA MESA, CA] announced that it has appointed Al Giazzon as Chief Executive Officer. Cameron Moore, Max Interactive founder and president, will continue to serve as president and chairman of Max Interactive’s board of directors. Giazzon has most recently served as vice president of Marketing at ViewSonic Corp.
ContraVir Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [EDISON, NJ] (NASDAQ: CTRV) announced the appointment of Robert Foster as its acting Chief Executive Officer. Foster succeeds James Sapirstein as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Since 2016, Foster has served as ContraVir’s Chief Scientific Office. Foster joined ContraVir in connection with its acquisition of Ciclofilin Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he was Founder, CEO, and Chairman.
JOANN Stores [HUDSON, OH] announced that Jill Soltau will resign as President & CEO to pursue an outside opportunity. Wade Miquelon, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will serve as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, while continuing in his current role as EVP and CFO, until the Board of Directors concludes an executive search process. Miquelon joined JOANN as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in March 2016.
Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. [FORT WORTH, TX] (NASDAQ: TLF) announced the resignation of CEO Shannon Greene while appointing Janet Carr as its new Chief Executive Officer. Carr will also become a member of the Board of Directors. Most recently Carr was the SVP of Global Business Development for Caleres.
PayLease [SAN DIEGO] a leading Fintech provider for the property management and Homeowner Association (HOA) industry, today announced that Dirk Wakeham has been named the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. Bill Nunan, PayLease CEO since 2017, will be stepping down to spend more time with his family and to pursue entrepreneurial interests.
Synlogic, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, MA] (Nasdaq: SYBX) announced the appointment of Aoife Brennan, as president and chief executive officer of Synlogic. Brennan joined Synlogic as chief medical officer in 2016 and has served as interim president and chief executive officer since May 2018.
Ponce Bank [NEW YORK] announced that Carlos P. Naudon will become President and Chief Executive Officer of Ponce Bank; he was formerly President and Chief Operating Officer. Naudon remains President and Chief Executive Officer of PDL Community Bancorp, the parent company of Ponce Bank, and President and Chief Operating Officer of Ponce Bank Mutual Holding Company, the majority owner of PDL Community Bancorp.
PGi [ATLANTA, GA] announced that it has named Don Joos as chief executive officer. Joos succeeds Ted Schrafft who is retiring and has agreed to remain in an advisory role through the end of 2018. Most recently, Joos served as the President and CEO of ShoreTel. Before ShoreTel Joos was with Avaya in a variety of executive roles.
Provenance Asset Group [ESSEX, CT] announced that Timothy Lynch has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Lynch previously served as President and COO of Provenance and succeeds Daniel McCurdy, who is departing the company. Previously, Lynch was Chief Intellectual Property Officer and corporate Vice President of Eastman Kodak Company. Additionally, Lynch is one of the founders of Quatela Lynch McCurdy LLC.
PayFlex [HARTFORD, CT] has named Michael A. DiSimone as the new president and chief executive officer. DiSimone joins PayFlex from Aetna’s Human Resources organization where he currently holds the position of vice president, Global Business Solutions. The appointment of DiSimone as the new PayFlex CEO is part of a planned transition as current president and CEO, Erin Hatzikostas, is expected to retire later this year.Prior to joining Aetna, DiSimone was the chief operating officer for North America at Mercer.
Myoscience, Inc. [FREMONT, CA] announced the appointment of Timothy I. Still as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Still will also be joining the Company’s Board of Directors. Most recently, Still was the Executive Chairman of Gold Standard Diagnostics. He served on the company’s Board for over four years; and subsequently took on a more active role resulting in the sale of the company to Eurofins in July of 2018. Prior appointments include CEO roles at Global Kinetics Corporation, Xagenic and Accumetrics.
Gastops Ltd. [OTTAWA, ON] announced the appointment of Shaun Horning to President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Shaun succeeds Dave Muir, who is retiring after 37 years at Gastops, including 11 years as the company’s President and CEO. Muir will continue his association with the company as an advisor and member of the Board.
Symphony Asset Management [NEW YORK & SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Gunther Stein has stepped down as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive. Stein, who will remain at Symphony as Chairman through the end of 2018, is departing for both business and family reasons.
GE [BOSTON] (NYSE: GE) announced that H. Lawrence Culp, Jr. has been named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Culp will succeed John Flannery as Chairman and CEO. Culp served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Danaher Corporation from 2000 to 2014.
MarineMax, Inc. [CLEARWATER, FL] (NYSE: HZO) announced that it has promoted W. Brett McGill to Chief Executive Officer and he will continue to serve as President. William H. McGill, Jr., the Company’s prior Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, has been named Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Brett McGill served as MarineMax’s President and Chief Operating Officer beginning in October 2017 after serving as Chief Operating Officer from October 2016 and as Executive Vice President Operations from October 2015.
Olympic Steel Inc. [CLEVELAND, OH] (Nasdaq: ZEUS) announced its has elected Richard T. (Rick) Marabito, Chief Executive Officer and a director of the Company effective January 1, 2019. Michael D. Siegal, Olympic Steel’s Chief Executive Officer since 1984, will transition to Executive Chairman of the Board at the end of this year, stepping down as CEO.
The International Legal Technology Association [CHICAGO, IL] announced that Joy Heath Rush will join as interim CEO on October 20, 2018. This announcement concludes a formal search initiated by the association’s Board of Directors in August following the resignation of prior CEO, Dan Liutikas.
Top of Mind Networks [ATLANTA, GA] announced the transition of Mark Green to Chief Strategy Officer and appointment of Bill Hayes as CEO. Green founded Top of Mind in 2003 and led the company as its CEO. Hayes was previously President and COO of Vendormate, Inc.
Neota Logic [NEW YORK] announced that Kim Massana has joined as President and Chief Executive Officer, Americas. Massana has more than 15 years’ experience in the information technology and analytics segment, most recently serving as Global Head of Customer Experience of Thomson Reuters.
Pfizer Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE:PFE) today announced has selected Albert Bourla Pfizer Chief Operating Officer (COO), to succeed Ian Read as CEO effective January 1, 2019. Ian Read will transition from his current role as Chairman and CEO to Executive Chairman of Pfizer’s Board of Directors.
The International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement [BOSTON, MA] announced that Neil Bacon has been appointed as its new President and CEO. Bacon succeeds Christina Akerman, who has returned to her native Sweden after four highly successful years as President.
