EQT Corporation [PITTSBURGH, PA] (NYSE: EQT) announced that Robert J. McNally, EQT’s current Chief Financial Officer, will become President and Chief Executive Officer upon completion of the Company’s upstream and midstream business separation. McNally will succeed David L. Porges who has been acting as interim President and Chief Executive Officer of EQT since March of this year. Porges will also step down from the EQT Board of Directors. McNally has been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of EQT since March 2016. During this time, he also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and as a member of the Board of Directors, for EQT Midstream Services, LLC, the general partner of EQT Midstream Partners, LP and EQT GP Services, LLC, the general partner of EQT GP Holdings, LP. Prior to joining EQT, McNally was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Precision Drilling Corporation.
Dorman Products, Inc. [COLMAR, PA] (NASDAQ:DORM) announced that Kevin M. Olsen, formerly the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company and, effective January 1, 2019, Olsen will become the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Olsen succeeds Mathias J. Barton who stepped down as President upon Olsen’s appointment and will retire as CEO on December 31, 2018. Olsen joined the Company in June 2016 as Senior Vice President and CFO and became Executive Vice President and CFO in June 2017. Prior to joining the Company, Olsen spent the majority of his career in progressively responsible financial and general management roles at Colfax Corporation, Crane Co. and Danaher Corporation.
i2 Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [BOULDER, CO] announced the appointment of David Stover as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2018. Prior to joining i2 Pharma, Stover was most recently head of Agensys, Inc. Stover also founded the Oncology Biologics department at Novartis, where he served as its director. Previously, Stover held the position of vice president of drug discovery at MDS Proteomics.
rag & bone [NEW YORK] has announced that Stefanie Strack has been named as its Chief Executive Officer effective September 10th, 2018, at which time she will also be appointed to the rag & bone Board of Directors. Marcus Wainwright, the current CEO will assume a new title as Founder & Chief Brand Officer. Strack has spent the last 14 years at Nike Inc., in a variety of operational and business roles, and has been an integral part of the Nike’s Corporate Leadership Team. Most recently, she held the position of Vice President/General Manager of Nike Express Lane. Prior to leading Nike Express Lane, Strack served as the General Manager of Nike Skateboarding.
Activbody [LA JOLLA, CA] announced it has appointed Dan Stevenson as its new CEO. Stevenson has held leadership roles at companies including Apple, Sony, Gateway and VSP Global. During his tenure at Apple, Stevenson served as Senior Director of worldwide sales support and channel sales for the education division. At Gateway, Stevenson held the positions of VP of product development and product marketing, VP of direct business, and VP of web. Stevenson also served as SVP of eCommerce for Sony for more than 6 years.
PQ Group Holdings Inc. [MALVERN, PA] (NYSE: PQG) announced that it has appointed Belgacem Chariag as President and Chief Executive Officer. Chariag will also become a member of PQ’s Board of Directors. Chariag succeeds Jim Gentilcore, following Gentilcore’s successful tenure as President and Chief Executive Officer. Gentilcore will remain on PQ’s Board as Executive Chairman. Chariag most recently served as Chief Global Operations Officer at Baker Hughes, a GE Company, after Baker Hughes’ merger with GE Oil & Gas, until January 2018. Prior to that, Chariag served as President, Global Products and Services for Baker Hughes. Chariag also previously served as President of Baker Hughes Eastern Hemisphere Operations after initially joining the company as Vice President.
Equidate [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Kelly Rodriques has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. The Company’s Co-Founders, Sohail Prasad and Samvit Ramadurgam, will be leading the company with Kelly as co-Presidents. Rodriques was a founding investor of mFoundry. Most recently, Rodriques served as CEO of PENSCO. Prior, Rodriques was an Operating Partner of Ignition Capital and CEO and Chairman of Totality. Rodriques has also been Managing Partner of Operative Capital.
Rakuten Marketing [SAN MATEO, CA] has appointed Stuart Simms, as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Tony Zito, who will assume a new role in the Rakuten business. Prior to his newest appointment, Simms served as President of Rakuten Marketing. Before working with Rakuten Marketing, Simms was CEO of Rakuten Fits Me, served as GM for Venda, and was GM at Rackspace.
ChartWise Medical Systems, Inc. [WAKEFIELD, RI] announced Steven Mason will now serve as both president and Chief Executive Officer with company founder Jon Elion, continuing as Chairman and Chief Innovation Officer. Elion recruited Mason to join ChartWise as President in the latter part of 2017, and subsequently sponsored the Board motion to appoint him as CEO.
Toyota Financial Services [PLANO, TX] announced that Mike Groff, the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, member of the company’s Board of Directors, will retire from these positions effective August 31, 2018. Groff will serve as Executive Advisor to Toyota Financial Services until November 16, 2018. Appointed to replace Groff is Mark Templin. Templin first joined Toyota in 1990 and has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Toyota Motor Credit Corporation since May 2016, and also currently serves and is expected to continue to serve as Director, President and Chief Operating Officer of TFSIC and Director and Group Chief Operating Officer of Toyota Financial Services Corporation. From April 2013 to December 2017, Templin also served as Managing Officer of Toyota Motor Corporation.
ROK Technologies, LLC [CHARLESTON, SC] announced that Alexandra Coleman, currently Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has been selected as the new chief executive officer. Coleman succeeds David M. Deignan, who will remain as Chairman of the Board.
Ontellus™ [HOUSTON] announced that Darren Klauser has been appointed to lead Ontellus as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective August 1, 2018. Former Ontellus CEO Newton Ross has served in the capacity of CEO since 2010 and will remain an integral part of the Ontellus Executive team, transitioning into the role of President. Klauser has previously served as the General Manager of the Americas Insurance Division of DXC Technology.
Sesen Bio, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, MA] (NASDAQ: SESN) announced that Thomas Cannell has been appointed chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors. Predecessor Stephen Hurly has left his employment with Sesen Bio. Thomas Cannell most recently served as chief operating officer and president of global commercial products at Orexigen Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to Orexigen, Cannell spent 27 years with Merck & Co., Inc. While with Merck, Cannell served as president of Merck Canada and head of marketing and strategy for Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp.
Electric Guard Dog, LLC [COLUMBIA, SC] has named Mark Wesley the new Chief Executive Officer. Jack DeMao, who has served as CEO since 2007, will transition to a role on the Company’s Board of Directors and remain an investor in the Company Wesley was most recently the President of Recall Corporation, North and South America.
DarkLight, Inc. [SEATTLE, WA] announced the appointment of Dan Wachtler as Chief Executive Officer. Wachtler is formerly President of a NASDAQ listed cybersecurity and financial crime investigative company.
Calero Software [ATLANTA, GA] announced that it has named Joe Pajer as President and Chief Executive Officer. Pajer, most recently served as Vice Chairman of Calero’s Board of Directors. Chris Jurasek, who successfully led Calero as CEO for the past three years, will continue to serve on the Company’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining Calero, Pajer was Chief Executive Officer of Thinklogical. Pajer previously held senior positions at Vocollect, Marconi, FORE Systems, Compaq Computer Corporation and AT&T.
Xome® Holdings LLC [DALLAS, TX] announced the appointment of Rayman Kaur Mathoda as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Xome, Mathoda led Genesis Capital as Co-CEO and member of the Board of Directors. Before then, Mathoda served as President of Hudson & Marshall, Chief Operations and Revenue Officer for ALAW, and Chief Administrative Officer at OneWest Bank.
ADFITECH, Inc. [EDMOND, OK] (OTC: ADFT) announced that it has named Thomas “Tom” G. Apel as Chief Executive Officer. Apel founded ADFITECH in 1983 and was actively involved in the company until 2010. Apel currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Stewart Information Services Corp. and on various other private boards. Apel sold ADFITECH, Inc. to Centex Corp in 1996 and shortly after became President of Commerce Title.
FUJIFILM SonoSite Inc. [BOTHELL, WA] announced the appointment of Takaaki Ueda as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, in addition to his roles as President and CEO of FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc., and FUJIFILM New Development U.S.A., Inc. The leadership appointment stem from Masayuki Higuchi‘s return to Tokyo as Deputy General Manager of Global Finance & Accounting at FUJIFILM Corporation.
Monetate [PHILADELPHIA, PA] has named Stephen Collins as its Chief Executive Officer. Collins succeeds Lucinda Duncalfe, who remains highly involved and will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to Monetate, Collins was President and CFO of Quantcast. Collins also served as CEO and Director at Bazaarvoice and CFO of DoubleClick.
PepsiCo, Inc. [PURCHASE, NY] (NASDAQ: PEP) announced that it has selected Ramon Laguarta to succeed Indra K. Nooyi as Chief Executive Officer. Nooyi will step down on October 3rd after 24 years with the company, and will remain Chairman until early 2019 to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. Laguarta was also elected to the company’s Board of Directors, effective October 3rd. Laguarta has held a number of executive and general management roles in his 22 years at PepsiCo. Since September 2017, Laguarta has served as President of PepsiCo. Previously, Laguarta served as Chief Executive Officer, Europe Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to that, he served as President, PepsiCo Eastern Europe region. Prior to PepsiCo, Laguarta worked for Chupa Chups, S.A.
Neuralstem, Inc. [GERMANTOWN, MD] (NASDAQ: CUR) announced that it has appointed Jim Scully as interim chief executive officer. Scully succeeds Rich Daly who served as president and chief executive officer of the Company since February 2016. During his decade with Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Scully assumed roles of increasing responsibility across multiple functional areas, leading efforts in financial planning, global business development, business analytics and corporate project management. Scully has also held key roles at Astellas Pharmaceuticals, Abbott Labs, GE Healthcare and Walgreens.
Public Allies [MILWAUKEE, WI] has named Jaime Ernesto Uzeta as its new CEO. Uzeta joins the organization with public and private sector experience over the past 20 years, including roles at MTV, the White House, Participant Media and IDEO.
Denver Zoo [DENVER, CO] announced the selection of Bert Vescolani as the new president & CEO. Vescolani comes to Denver Zoo following seven years as president & CEO of the Saint Louis Science Center and replaces Denny O’Malley, who has served as interim president & CEO since June 2017. Vescolani will assume leadership of the Zoo in mid-September. Prior to his most recent role, Vescolani served six years as director of the John Ball Zoological Gardens in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Before that, Vescolani served in various capacities at John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago for over 14 years.
San Diego Gas & Electric [SAN DIEGO, CA] announced that Kevin C. Sagara will become chairman and CEO effective Aug. 25. Sagara is currently president of Sempra Renewables, and has worked for the Sempra Energy family of companies in a range of leadership roles for 22 years.
Scientific Learning Corp. [OAKLAND, CA] (OTC PINK: SCIL) announced that Jeffrey D. Thomas has assumed the role of CEO replacing Robert Bowen, who will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Thomas was named co-CEO in February after serving as the board’s Lead Independent Director. Before joining Scientific Learning, Thomas was involved with several private-equity backed education companies in CEO and executive chairman positions. Thomas served for over 11 years as CEO of the Ambassadors Group Inc. and six years as president and CFO of Ambassador International.
The International Legal Technology Association [CHIGAGO, IL] announced that CEO Dan Liutikas has made the decision to resign as CEO effective August 31, 2018. Liutikas joined the organization in April 2017 as CEO and will remain at the organization through the end of August 2018 to ensure a smooth and effective transition of duties.
Kaptivo [SAN MATEO, CA] announced the appointment of David W. Hsieh as Chief Executive Officer effective July 16, 2018. Hsieh succeeds co-founder Nic Lawrence, who will move to an executive operating role in the company. Hsieh has served in a variety of GTM operating roles in both private and public companies, including a decade of experience as VP of Products at WebEx and VP of Marketing for Cisco TelePresence.
MoSys,Inc. [SAN JOSE, CA] (NASDAQ: MOSY) announced that its president and CEO, Len Perham, will retire from the Company on August 8, 2018. Daniel Lewis will assume the role of president and CEO of MoSys. Lewis has served as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors since September 2017. Lewis has also held sales positions at multiple semiconductor companies, including IDT, Zilog, Xicor and Intel, and previously served as vice president of worldwide sales at both IDT and Xicor.
Plasticase Inc. [MONTREAL, QC] announced that José Chagnon will become the new President and Chief Executive Officer. Jean-Pierre Grenier, the founder, will remain involved and will serve as Chairman.
MCR, LLC [MCLEAN, VA] announced that it has appointed Bill Parker as president and chief executive officer. Vince Kiernan will step aside as MCR president and will continue on the board of directors. Parker has successfully developed and executed comprehensive strategies for multiple companies in the government technology services market, including MCR, and as the chief operating officer of Salient Federal Solutions and before that as COO of NCI Information Systems. Previously, Parker was president of Karta Technologies, president of Pinkerton Computer Consultants Government Solutions, president of KForce Government Solutions Division, and CEO of Crosswalk.com.
Douglas Dynamics, Inc. [MILWAUKEE, WI] announced that James L. Janik (Jim) will transition from his role as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective December 31, 2018, to lead the Board of Directors as Executive Chairman. The Board of Directors has appointed current Chief Operating Officer, Robert McCormick (Bob), to serve as successor to Janik as President and Chief Executive Officer, with his appointment to be effective January 1, 2019. McCormick will also join the Board of Directors effective January 1. McCormick has been serving as Chief Operating Officer of the Company since 2017. Prior to his role as Chief Operating Officer, McCormick served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from 2004 to 2017, Executive Vice President from 2010 through 2017 and as Secretary from 2005 through 2017. Prior to joining the Company, McCormick served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Xymox Technology Inc. from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, McCormick served in various capacities in the Newell Rubbermaid Corporation, including President from 2000 to 2001 and Vice President Group Controller from 1997 to 2000.
