Creative Energy [VANCOUVER, BC] announced that Krishnan Iyer has joined the company as President and Chief Executive Officer. Iyer was most recently Executive Vice President, Lending and Chief Financial Officer at Infrastructure Ontario. Prior to joining Infrastructure Ontario in 2014, Iyer served as interim Chief Financial Officer of Borealis Infrastructure.
TiVo Corporation [SAN JOSE, CA] (NASDAQ: TIVO) announced that Raghu Rau, a member of TiVo’s Board of Directors, has been named interim President and Chief Executive Officer. The appointment follows Enrique Rodriguez’s personal decision to resign from his role as TiVo’s President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors to assume a position at a different company. Rau will continue to serve on the Board of Directors. Rau has served as a director of the Company since 2015. Prior to joining the Board, Rau served as Chief Executive Officer of SeaChange International Inc. Prior to his work at SeaChange International, Rau held a number of senior leadership positions with Motorola Inc. from 1992 to 2008, including Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development of the Networks & Enterprise business, Senior Vice President of the Mobile TV Solutions business, and Corporate Vice President of Marketing and Professional Services.
Barnes & Noble, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: BKS) announced the termination of its Chief Executive Officer, Demos Parneros. The Company has appointed a leadership group to share the duties of the office of the CEO until a new leader is named. Those appointed include: Allen Lindstrom, Chief Financial Officer, Tim Mantel, Chief Merchandising Officer and Carl Hauch, Vice President, Stores.
ADDvantage Technologies Group, Inc. [BROKEN ARROW, OK] (NASDAQ:AEY) announced that it has appointed Joseph Hart as the Company’s new interim President and Chief Executive Officer and has accepted the resignation of David Humphrey, who is stepping down from his position as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors to pursue further opportunities. Hart has been a member of the Board of Directors at the Company since August, 2015, and will continue to serve on the Board. From 2015 through 2018, Hart was the Chief Executive Officer for Aero Communications Inc.
AXM Pharma, Inc. [NEW YORK] (OTC: AXMP) announce that it has appointed Linda L. Forster as the new Chief Executive Officer. Mandla J. Gwadiso resigned as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, President, Director, Secretary, and Treasurer Prior to joining AXM Pharma, Inc., Forster was the Co-Founder, President & CEO of Forster Company.
Novelion Therapeutics Inc. [VANCOUVER, BC] (NASDAQ: NVLN) announced that Mark Corrigan has been appointed as Executive Chair of the Board of Directors. In connection with the appointment, the Office of the CEO, which was comprised of Corrigan, Chief Operating Officer Jeff Hackman and former Chair Jason Aryeh, will be disbanded. As interim CEO, Hackman will lead the company’s operations, reporting into the Board.
Account Control Technology Holdings, Inc. [WOODSLAND HILLS, CA] has named Mike Meyer as CEO as Tracey Carpentier prepares to step out of the role. Meyer has been the CEO of Convergent, Inc., a subsidiary of ACT Holdings, for five-and-a-half years. Meyer will transition into the role and take over leadership by July 31, 2018. Carpentier will remain an active member of ACT Holdings’ Board of Directors. Before joining ACT Holdings, Inc., Meyer began his career at IBM and Ernst & Young, and then joined Outsourcing Solutions, Inc. (OSI), where he spent nearly ten years in a variety of senior leadership positions in technology, operations, and sales.
NinePoint Medical, Inc. [BEDFORD, MA] announced the appointment of Eman Namati to President and Chief Executive Officer. Namati succeeds Christopher von Jako who will continue to serve on the Board of Directors as an independent member. Namati joined NinePoint Medical during its inception in 2010 as a technical co-founder and has served as the Vice President of Research and Development for the past four-years. Prior to his time at NinePoint, Namati was a researcher developing optical imaging systems at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Northern Oil and Gas, Inc. [MINNEAPOLIS, MN] (NYSE American: NOG) announced that Mike Reger, Northern’s founder and current CEO, will assume the title of President. Brandon Elliott, current President, will assume the title of CEO.
United Community Banks, Inc. [GREENVILLE, SC] (NASDAQ: UCBI) announced that H. Lynn Harton has assumed the role of United’s CEO, succeeding Jimmy Tallent. In addition to this new role, Harton continues as President and CEO of United’s subsidiary, United Community Bank. United also announced that Tallent has moved into his new role as Executive Chairman of United’s Board of Directors. Harton was named CEO of United Community Bank in August 2017 and was elected to the Board of Directors in February 2015. Prior to joining United, Harton served in executive capacities with various financial institutions including South Financial Group, Regions Financial Corporation and BB&T.
Hyperion [NEW YORK] announced that Ron Voigt will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. Voigt succeeds Johan Israelsson, who is transitioning into a newly created role as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Alliances. Voigt previously served as the President of X-Rite Pantone, an operating subsidiary of Danaher Corporation. Voigt joined Danaher in 2009 and served in a number of other executive roles at both Kollmorgen and Tektronix before being tapped to lead X-Rite Pantone in 2013.
