Clearwater Compliance [NASHVILLE, TN] announced Monday that Steve Cagle has been appointed chief executive officer. Bob Chaput, founder of Clearwater, will become Executive Chairman. Cagle previously served as CEO of Moberg Pharma North America and CEO of Alterna.
QDOBA Mexican Eats® [SAN DIEGO] named Keith Guilbault as Chief Executive Officer. Guilbault previously served as QDOBA’s Brand President and Chief Operating Officer since 2016. Prior to leading the QDOBA Brand, Guilbault held a series of executive leadership positions at Jack in the Box, rising to Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer.
Namely [NEW YORK] announced the departure of Matt Straz as the company’s CEO. Board member Elisa Steele will lead the Office of the CEO. Steele last served as President & CEO of Jive Software and has held senior positions at Microsoft, Skype, Yahoo!, NetApp and Sun Microsystems. Along with Steele, the Office of the CEO will also include Dan Murphy, CFO; Paul Rogers, CTO; and Graham Younger, President and CRO.
MUFG Investor Services [NEW YORK] announced that Eiji Ihori will take on the role of interim Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2018. Eiji is replacing Mark Porter who is stepping into an advisory role. Eiji has been with Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (MUTB) for over 35 years. Over the last three years, Eiji has played a key role in completing the acquisitions in alternative fund administration that have helped MUFG Investor Services scale to one of the leading providers in the space.
FOX News and FOX Business Network [NEW YORK] announced that Suzanne Scott has been named Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Scott served as the president of programming for both FOX News Channel (FNC) & FBN and has been with FOX News since its inception nearly 22 years ago.
Xerox [NORWALK, CT] (NYSE: XRX) announced that it has appointed John Visentin as chief executive officer. Visentin was also elected vice chairman of the Board of Directors. Keith Cozza was elected chairman of the Board of Directors.
Keane Group, Inc. [HOUSTON] announced that Robert W. Drummond will be appointed Chief Executive Officer and Director of Keane. Keane expects Drummond to assume his roles as Chief Executive Officer and as Director on or prior to September 1, 2018. At that time, James Stewart, Drummond brings extensive industry experience, serving as Chief Executive Officer of Key Energy Services, Inc. Prior to his time at Key Energy, Drummond served for more than 30 years at Schlumberger Limited in various executive positions, including President of North America, Vice President of General Manager U.S. Land, Vice President of Global Sales, Vice President General Manager U.S. Gulf of Mexico, and President North American Offshore and Alaska.
AmideBio LLC [BOULDER, CO] announced that Pawel Fludzinski has joined the Company as its new Chief Executive Officer. Misha Plam, who has served as CEO since the Company’s inception, will continue as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Previously, Fludzinski was Global Brand Development Leader within the Diabetes Business Unit at Lilly.
SCI Engineered Materials, Inc. [COLUMBUS, OH] (OTCQB: SCIA) announced that Daniel Rooney, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, has informed the Board of Directors of his plans to retire in June 2019. Rooney has served as the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer since March 2002 and also as Chairman of the Board since January 2003.
UserTesting [MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA] announced that Andy MacMillan has joined the company as chief executive officer and will serve as a member of the board of directors. Darrell Benatar, co-founder and former CEO of UserTesting, will continue to be a part of the executive team and support Andy as Executive Chairman. MacMillan has reviously served as a senior product executive at Oracle and Product Group COO at Salesforce.
Flywheel Building Intelligence, Inc. [DALLAS] named Mike Levine as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Flywheel, Levine served as President of bibliotheca, CEO of AssetPoint and CEO of Redhawk Communications.
Sensei Biotherapeutics, Inc. [GAITHERSBURG, MD] announced the appointment of John Celebi as President and Chief Executive Officer. Celebi also joins the company’s board of directors. Previously, Celebi served as the Chief Operating Officer of X4 Pharmaceuticals and also served as Chief Business Officer of Igenica Biotherapeutics, Inc.
Aileron Therapeutics [CAMBRIDGE, MA] (Nasdaq: ALRN) announced that Joseph A. Yanchik III has resigned as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and as a member of its Board of Directors. John P. Longenecker has been named interim Chief Executive Officer. Longenecker is the Founder and President of JPL Biotech, and was CEO and Director of HemaQuest Pharmaceuticals, and Favrille, Inc. Previously, Longenecker was President and Chief Operating Officer of DepoTech.
Avenue Stores, LLC [ROCHELLE PARK, NJ] announced that it has named Mark Walsh as Chief Executive Officer. Walsh succeeds Liz Williams who has over the past six years. Prior to joining AVENUE®, Walsh’s executive leadership experiences in retail and apparel include roles as CEO of Bob’s Stores and Eastern Mountain Sports, Group President of Liz Claiborne, and Executive Vice President of e-commerce and Strategic Planning at J. Crew Group, Inc. He has also held executive positions in marketing and finance for Citibank, N.A. and Pepsico, Inc.
Bernie’s Book Bank [LAKE BLUFF, IL] announced it has appointed Darrin Utynek as Chief Executive Officer. Founder Brian Floriani will transition to Founder and Chief Advancement Officer. Utynek previously served as Chief Operating Officer of the American Red Cross. Prior to that, Utynek served as the Vice President of Administration for the Habitat Company and as the Senior Director of Risk Management for the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago.
Adello Biologics [PISCATAWAY, NJ] announced that Chintu Patel has been named Chief Executive Officer succeeding Peter Moesta, who is stepping down to pursue other opportunities. Most recently Patel was Co-Chief Executive Officer, Co-Chairman and Co-Founder of Amneal Pharmaceuticals.
RREEF Property Trust, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: ZRPTAX) announced that it has appointed Julianna S. Ingersoll as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. For the past three years, Ingersoll was the Chief Operating Officer of RREEF Property Trust, and, prior to that, Chief Financial Officer. Before joining the REIT, Ingersoll served in a number of strategic corporate investment roles across the real estate business for DWS and Deutsche Bank. Ingersoll Joined Deutsche Bank in 2001 as an analyst in the Investment Bank.
Complexa Inc. [BERWYN, PA] announced the appointment of Francisco D. Salva as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer and President. Most recently, Salva served as a Founder and Vice President of Operations for Acerta Pharma B.V. Prior to Acerta, Salva was Senior Director of Corporate Development at Pharmacyclics. Earlier in his career, Salva spent almost a decade as a life sciences venture capitalist at CIBC Capital Partners, INVESCO Funds Group and Patricof & Co. Ventures.

Nynens has resigned as the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer and also as a director and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, effective May 11, 2018. Steve DeWindt, the Company’s current Lead Director, will serve as the Company’s interim President and Chief Executive Officer until a permanent successor has been named. DeWindt has served as a director of the Company since January 2014. DeWindt has served as the Executive Vice President of Solium, Inc. since November 2012. From October 2010 to November 2012, he was the Executive Chairman, President and Board of Directors member of OptionEase, Inc. From June 2007 to October 2009, DeWindt was the Co-founder, President, Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors member of Sparxent, Inc.
Element Fleet Management Corp. [TORONTO, ON] (TSX: EFN) announced the appointment of Jay Forbes as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2018. Until then Dan Jauernig will remain Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Company and will then resume his responsibilities as President and Chief Operating Officer of Element. Most recently, from 2015 to 2017, Forbes was President and CEO of Manitoba Telecom Services. Forbes also served as President and CEO of Teranet Inc.
OMNIlife science, Inc. [RAYNHAM, MA] announced that Rick Epstein has joined OMNI as CEO. Before joining OMNI, Epstein served as President and CEO of Sonoma Orthopedic Products for 5 years. Prior to Sonoma, Rick held several executive leadership positions in prominent organizations including Baxter International and Cardinal Health.
The American Council of Life Insurers [WASHINGTON, DC] announced that Susan Neely, president and CEO of the American Beverage Association, will join ACLI as president and CEO this summer. Neely will succeed Dirk Kempthorne, who earlier this year announced his intention to step down as president and CEO after eight successful years at the helm of the ACLI. Prior to her current role, Neely served as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2003-2005 and served as a special assistant to President George W. Bush between 2001-2002.
Oxygen Hospitality Group [PHOENIX] announced Yaron Ashkenazi has been named chief executive officer. Ashkenazi joins Oxygen Hospitality from GCH Hotel Group in Berlin, Germany, where he most recently served as CEO for the country’s second largest hotel management group.
OEwaves, Inc. [PASADENA, CA] announced that Skip Williams has joined the company as its new Chief Executive Officer. Williams comes to OEwaves from Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. Prior to his tenure at SPAWAR, Williams held senior positions at the Space Vehicles, Aerospace Systems, and Directed Energy Directorates of the Air Force Research Laboratory as well as positions with the Department of Energy at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories.
Academy, Ltd. [KATY, TX] has announced that Ken C. Hicks has been appointed Chairman and CEO. CEO J.K. Symancyk is leaving the company to pursue another opportunity. Hicks has been a member of the Academy Board of Managers and has previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Foot Locker. Prior to Foot Locker, Hicks served in leadership positions at several major retail companies, including J.C. Penney, Payless ShoeSource, Home Shopping Network and May Department Stores.
Tierra Nueva Fine Cocoa, LLC [MIAMI] announces David Burke as its new CEO. Burke has been a leader in the food and beverage industry for more than 30 years, with successes at Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Primo Water, and most recently as the executive vice president of Red Diamond Coffee & Tea.
First Choice Health [SEATTLE, WA] announced that following a successful 12-year tenure as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Ken Hamm has officially retired. Jaja Okigwe, former Senior Vice President of Strategic Development for Premera Blue Cross, has been selected by the Board of Directors and hired to assume the leadership position as the company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer. With 20 years of healthcare industry experience, Okigwe brings with him a portfolio of expertise that will drive strategy and innovation for First Choice Health, playing an integral role in guiding the ownership and company through its next phase of profitable growth. Okigwe served as a Manager for Deloitte Consulting before transitioning to the McKesson Corporation, working as the Vice President of Business Development. In 2004, Okigwe moved on to Premera Blue Cross serving as Director of Operations, then Vice President of Special Products Development. In 2007, Okigwe assumed the role of Vice President of Strategic Development and in 2014, was promoted to Senior Vice President of that same division.
Violin® Systems LLC [SAN JOSE, CA] announced that CEO and president Ebrahim Abbasi will leave the company May 15 to continue focusing on his complete recovery from health issues. Current executive chairman and acting-CEO Mark Lewis moves to full-time chairman and CEO in Abbasi’s place. Abbasi has worked for Violin for the past 5 years, having served as chief operating officer before being named CEO in April 2017. Lewis joined Violin as executive chairman in March 2018.
