The J.G. Wentworth Company® [CHESTERBROOK, PA] announced that it has appointed Randi Sellari Chief Executive Officer, Specialty Finance. Sellari succeeds Stewart Stockdale, who has led the company since 2014. Sellari previously spent nearly two decades at J.G. Wentworth, serving in a variety of leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer and, later, President and Chief Operating Officer.
Copper Mountain Mining Corporation [VANCOUVER, BC] (TSX: CMMC) announced that President and Chief Executive Officer James C. O’Rourke will be retiring on June 1, 2018. Gil Clausen, currently President and CEO and Director of Brio Gold Inc., will succeed O’Rourke as President and Chief Executive Officer and will also join the Company’s Board of Directors. Clausen served most recently as President, CEO and Director of Brio Gold Inc., since its inception in 2014. Previously, Clausen was President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Augusta Resource Corporation from its inception in 2005 until 2014. Clausen was Executive Vice President, Mining at Washington Group International, Inc. from 2001 to 2005 and served as Vice President of Operations at Stillwater Mining Company from 1995 to 1999.
Censeo+Advance [DALLAS] announced the appointment of Kyle Armbrester as Chief Executive Officer. Armbrester joins Censeo+Advance after more than seven years at athenahealth, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer. Prior to athenahealth, Armbrester had a career as an entrepreneur and operator in enterprise software.
OMEICOS Ophthalmics [BOSTON, MA] announced the appointment of Alexander Gebauer to Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. Prior to joining OMEICOS, Gebauer served in a multitude of R&D roles, including Managing Director, President of Global R&D, Chief Scientific Officer and other executive committee positions at several international pharmaceutical companies such as Sun Pharmaceuticals, Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd., Merz Pharmaceuticals Hoechst AG, Aventis and Sanofi.
Privia Health, LLC [ARLINGTON, VA] announced the appointment of Shawn Morris as Chief Executive Officer. Morris joins Privia after a distinguished thirteen-year career at Cigna-HealthSpring, a Cigna company, where he most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer.
Alfresco Software [SAN MATEO, CA] announced that the company has appointed Bernadette Nixon as Chief Executive Officer. Nixon joined Alfresco in 2016 as Chief Revenue Officer. Before joining Alfresco, Bernadette served as President, customer experience solutions at SDL, and prior to that was the SVP and general manager of OpenText’s BPM business unit.
Instart Logic [PALO ALTO, CA] announced the appointment of Sumit Dhawan as Chief Executive Officer. Dhawan comes to Instart from VMware, where he served as general manager. Prior to VMware, Dhawan served at Citrix, where he held a number of executive roles.
Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc. [MIDDLETON, WI] announced that Executive Chairman David M. Maura has been named Chief Executive Officer. Maura succeeds Andreas Rouvé, who has stepped down as CEO and a Director. Maura has served as Executive Chairman of Spectrum Brands since January 2016. Maura joined Spectrum Brands’ Board in June 2010 and served as interim Chairman of the Board before being named Chairman in July 2011. Maura was a Managing Director and Executive Vice President of Investments at HRG from October 2011 until November 2016 and was a member of HRG’s Board of Directors from May 2011 through December 2017. Maura previously was Vice President and Director of Investments of Harbinger Capital from 2006 until 2012.
Southern Current [CHARLESTON, SC] has appointed Jon Downey as Chief Executive Officer. Downey will also continue in his current role as President. Jon Downey was instrumental in both the execution and successful integration of the 2016 merger between Sustainable Energy Solutions and Solbridge Energy which formed Southern Current.
Criteo [NEW YORK] announced that founder and chairman JB Rudelle will return to the role of Chief Executive Officer at Criteo’s Paris headquarters. Current Chief Executive Officer Eric Eichmann will become an advisor to the CEO and transition out of the Board of Directors effective today.
Synthio [ATLANTA, GA] announced the appointment of Sean O’Leary as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, O’Leary served as President & CEO of KnowledgeTree Inc. Prior to KnowledgeTree, O’Leary served as President & CEO, of StrikeIron. O’Leary has also held senior executive level positions at Motorola, Good Technology, and Cisco Systems.
HiveIO [HOBOKEN, NJ] announced the appointment of Dan Newton as its Chief Executive Officer. Newton joins HiveIO from Rackspace following Rackspace’s acquisition of Datapipe, a leading IT service provider where he served as the Chief Operating Officer. Dan also held key leadership roles at Perot Systems and Dell’s Physician Services Technology business unit.
Hufcor Inc. [JANESVILLE, WI] announced the appointment of Koben Miceli as Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, Miceli will also continue as Chief Executive Officer of Power Partners, Inc. which he joined in October 2017. Prior to joining PPI, Miceli was previously with Dematic Corporation as Executive Vice President of Global Operations and had been promoted from the positions of Senior Vice President of Global Procurement and Vice President of Operational Excellence and Strategy. Prior to Dematic, Miceli has held senior operations positions with Nexeo Solutions as Director of Supply Chain Management, Catalent Pharma Solutions as General Manager, and Honeywell Corporate and Aerospace with the most recent title of Senior Director, Manufacturing Globalization Strategy.
Priority Jet [ATLANTA, GA] announced that it has appointed Judson “Jud” Brandt to be its new chief executive officer. Brandt replaces Scot Foith, the founder of Priority Jet, who will move to the chairman role with the company. Brandt previously served as fleet captain for Priority Jet’s largest fleet, the Citation XL, and will continue to fly the line. Prior to coming to Priority Jet, Brandt held a broad variety of roles in both aviation and business, including pilot for Delta Private Jets; pilot at ExpressJet; CEO of Cybis LLC; CTO for Bridgewater Associates; partner at Accenture and PricewaterhouseCoopers; CIO at Delta Air Lines Inc.; and VP at Oracle.
Designed Learning Inc. [WESTFIELD, NJ] announced that C. Patrick Smith will serve as chief executive officer. Smith has been a senior vice-president at Development Dimensions International and also served as CEO of Behavioral Science Technology.
True Citrus Co. [BALTIMORE, MD] announced that Robert Cuddihy has been named the new chief executive officer. Cuddihy, who previously served as chief operating officer for True Citrus, is replacing the retiring Albert Soricelli, who led the company for the past eight years. Before coming to True Citrus, Cuddihy served as chief operating officer for eight years at life-science company ProPhase Labs.
Umpqua Investments [PORTLAND, OR] announced that Eric Field has been named the subsidiary’s chief executive officer. Field spent the past 13 years at Russell Investments, where he served most recently as national strategic accounts manager.
J.Hilburn [DALLAS, TX] announced the appointment of Andy Janowski to chief executive officer. Co-founder and CEO, Veeral Rathod, has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Janowski most recently served as executive chairman of the J.Hilburn board of directors. Janowski was former CEO of Smythson and previously also held executive roles at Burberry and Gap, Inc.
US Acute Care Solutions [CANTON, OH] announced Dominic J. Bagnoli will assume the position of Executive Chairman of the Board and the company named James Frary Chief Executive Officer. Frary was most recently President of AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group. In his role.
OrphoMed, Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced the appointment of Gary M. Phillips as President and Chief Executive Officer. Founder and current CEO Nikhilesh Singh has been appointed OrphoMed’s Chief Scientific Officer. Phillips joins OrphoMed from Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer since 2013. Previously, Phillips was Head of Global Health & Healthcare Industries at the World Economic Forum. Earlier, Phillips was President of Reckitt Benckiser Pharmaceuticals North America (now Indivior) and held dual roles as President, U.S. Surgical and Pharmaceuticals and Global Head of Pharmaceuticals at Bausch & Lomb.
Advaxis, Inc. [PRINCETON, NJ] (NASDAQ: ADXS) announced that Kenneth A. Berlin has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer and will also serve as a Director of the company. Interim CEO Anthony Lombardo will remain with Advaxis for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition. Berlin joins Advaxis from Rosetta Genomics, where since 2009 he was President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Rosetta Genomics, Berlin was Worldwide General Manager at Veridex, LLC, a Johnson & Johnson company.
Sabika [PITTSBURGH, PA] announced that Alexandra Mayr-Gracik was named President and CEO of Sabika and will succeed her mother, Karin Mayr, in this leadership role that she held since the company’s founding 17 years ago. Karin Mayr will continue her role as Founder, Chairwoman of the Board and Special Advisor to Sabika’s Consultants across the United States. Mayr-Gracik joined Sabika in 2005 and has most recently served as Vice President of Design and Product Development.
Siemens Corporation [WASHINGTON, DC] announced that Barbara Humpton has been appointed CEO for the United States, effective June 1, 2018. Humpton is currently CEO of Siemens Government Technologies, Inc. Humpton joined Siemens Government Technologies in 2011 as Senior Vice President for Business Development. Prior to joining Siemens, Humpton held senior leadership positions at Lockheed Martin and Booz Allen Hamilton, where she was a Vice President at both firms.
Deluxe Corporation [ST. PAUL, MN] (NYSE: DLX) announced that Lee Schram will retire as Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Schram has agreed to serve in his current role during the succession process and will be available to assist in a smooth transition.
Computex Technology Solutions [HOUSTON, TX] announced the appointment of John Schilsky as its new President and CEO. Schilsky, who most recently served as EVP and CFO for Computex, succeeds Frank Vitagliano, who has stepped aside after 15-months of leading the company.
Regions Financial Corporation [BIRMINGHAM, AL] (NYSE:RF) announced that John M. Turner Jr., who currently serves as President, will become Chief Executive Officer of Regions Bank and Regions Financial Corporation, its bank holding company, and a member of its Boards of Directors effective July 2, 2018. Turner will succeed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Grayson Hall who will serve as Executive Chairman through the end of 2018. Turner joined Regions in 2011 as the regional president of the South Region and led banking operations in Alabama, Mississippi, South Louisiana, and the Florida Panhandle. He was named head of Regions’ Corporate Bank in 2014 and President in 2017.
Socure [NEW YORK] announced that Tom Thimot has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Sunil Madhu, founder and original CEO, will focus on platform innovation as Socure’s new Chief Strategy Officer. Thimot joins Socure from Clarity Insights, where he served as CEO. Previously, Thimot was COO of Kazeon, CEO of GoRemote, EVP Worldwide Sales, Service and Support for Netegrity and CEO of CaseCentral.
Quantros [GREENVILLE, SC] announced that the company has appointed Trey M. Cook as its new president and CEO succeeding John Trzeciak, an operating partner at Francisco Partners who served as interim CEO and will continue to serve as a Quantros Board Member.
Dermtreat [SAN DIEGO] has appointed Nishan de Silva as chief executive officer. Dermtreat’s founder Jens Hansen continues as president, research & development, overseeing the company’s Denmark-based operations. de Silva has nearly 20 years of experience in biotechnology, venture capital and healthcare management consulting. De Silva most recently served as president of Poseida Therapeutics. Prior to that, de Silva, served as chief financial officer and vice president, finance and strategy at Ligand Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and as a principal at private equity firm Warburg Pincus LLC.
NatureWorks [MINNETONKA, MN] has named Richard Altice as the company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer, replacing Marc Verbruggen, who led the company from 2008 to his retirement in 2017. Altice comes to NatureWorks from PolyOne Corporation where he was Senior Vice President and President – Designed Structures and Solutions. Prior to PolyOne, Altice also served as Vice President of Hexion’s global specialty epoxy business.
Graco Supply Company [FORT WORTH, TX] announced that it has appointed Jason Caldwell as President and CEO and a member of Graco’s Board of Directors. Caldwell spent 20 years at Wencor Group functioning in various roles and responsibilities in sales and marketing, finally as Vice President of Sales.
Sysdig, Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO] announced Suresh Vasudevan has been named president and chief executive officer of Sysdig, and he has also been appointed to the company’s board of directors. The founder of Sysdig, Loris Degioanni, will continue to guide the company vision and product strategy in his new role as chief technology officer. Prior to joining Sysdig, Vasudevan was the president and CEO of Nimble Storage, Inc. Prior to Nimble Storage, Vasudevan was the CEO of Omneon, and previously served as a member of the executive team at NetApp.
pdvWireless, Inc. [WOODLAND PARK, NJ] (NASDAQ: PDVW) announced that company Vice Chairman Morgan O’Brien is succeeding John C. Pescatore as the company’s CEO. Pescatore will continue to serve on the board of directors as Vice Chairman.
Advantage Business Marketing [ROCKAWAY, NJ] announced the appointment of Chief Executive Officer, Bruce Cummings. Cummings joins Advantage from Gila LLC, where he served as CEO.
xG Technology, Inc. [SARASOTA, FL] (Nasdaq: XGTI) announced that George Schmitt has elected to retire from his roles as CEO and Executive Chairman. The Board of Directors has appointed current xG Technology board member Gary Cuccio as Executive Chairman and interim CEO. As part of its leadership succession plan, the Board was already in discussions with potential candidates for the permanent CEO role, and has initiated a formal search for a new permanent CEO. The search is expected to take no longer than 90 days.
The Goodwill Industries International [ROCKVILLE, MD] announced that Jim Gibbons, president and CEO, will resign after more than ten years of service to pursue new opportunities. Gibbons has agreed to continue serving in his role as CEO until a replacement is appointed, at which time he will work with the GII Board to ensure an orderly transition.
