PayByPhone [VANCOUVER, BC] announced that it will appoint Andreas Gruber as president and Chief Executive Officer effective June 1st, 2018. Francis Dupuis, the former President and CEO, will take over a position in Germany with parent company Volkswagen Financial Services AG.
Ancestry [LEHI, UT] announced that it has appointed Margo Georgiadis as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Georgiadis will succeed Howard Hochhauser, who has served as interim CEO since October 2017. Hochhauser will return to his role as Ancestry’s CFO and COO. Georgiadis will join the company on May 10, 2018. Most recently Georgiadis served as Chief Executive Officer of Mattel, Inc. and prior to that as President, Americas, at Google Inc.
Macerich Company [SANTA MONICA, CA] (NYSE: MAC) Arthur Coppola announced that he will retire from his position as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer after service to the Company and its predecessor for 42 years. Coppola’s retirement as Chief Executive Officer will be effective as of December 31, 2018.
XpresSpa Group [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: XSPA) has appointed Ed Jankowski as Chief Executive Officer. Jankowski, has been involved with the company since 2014 first as a board member and then as part of management, replaces Andrew Perlman who has decided to pursue other opportunities. Jankowski has served as XpresSpa Group’s President since January 2017 and as XpresSpa’s Chief Executive Officer since June 2016. From 2012 to 2016, Jankowski was the Vice President and General Manager of Luxury Retail at Luxottica. Previously, Jankowski was Senior Vice President and General Manager for Godiva Chocolatier, Chief Operating Officer of Safilo Group’s Solstice sunglasses stores, and President of Airport Shops Division of World Duty Free Americas, a division of B.A.A.
Atreca, Inc. [REDWOOD CITY, CA] announced that John A. Orwin, formerly CEO of Relypsa, has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Atreca and to the Board of Directors. Orwin replaces Atreca co-founder Tito A. Serafini in this role. Serafini will assume the newly created position of Chief Strategy Officer. Serafini also will remain on Atreca’s Board of Directors. Orwin brings over 25 years of diverse experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, having held senior positions at leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Affymax, Rhône-Poulenc Rorer, Genentech, and most recently Relypsa. Prior to Relypsa, Orwin served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Affymax.
Ocwen Financial Corporation [WEST PALM BEACH, FL] (NYSE: OCN) announced that it has determined to appoint Glen A. Messina as President and Chief Executive Officer. Messina most recently served as President and CEO of PHH. Messina will succeed Ron Faris, who after 27 years with Ocwen, made the decision to retire as President and CEO. Faris will remain President and CEO through June 30, 2018. Faris will remain a consultant to the Company to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
Avcorp Industries Inc. [VANCOUVER, BC] (TSX: AVP) announces that Peter George has decided to resign his role as CEO of Avcorp Group. The Company has appointed Amandeep Kaler, currently the General Manager of Avcorp’s Delta operations, as the new CEO of Avcorp Group. George will remain on the Board as a non-executive member and will now chair the executive committee to support the transition with Kaler.
Ditech Holding Corporation [FORT WASHINGTON, PA] (NYSE: DHCP) announced that Thomas F. Marano, Chairman of the Ditech Holding Board of Directors, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and President of Ditech Holding. Jeffrey Baker, who served as interim Chief Executive Officer and President of Ditech Holding, will continue to serve as President of the Company’s Reverse Mortgage Solutions, Inc. business. Marano will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
InSpeed Networks [PALO ALTO, CA] announced that Michael Mansouri has joined the company as chairman and chief executive officer. The former CEO Ed Basart will stay on in a new role, as chief strategy officer.
21st Century Oncology Holdings, Inc. [FORT MYERS, FL] announced that it has appointed Kimberly Commins-Tzoumakas as its Chief Executive Officer. Commins-Tzoumakas has served as the Interim CEO since January 2018.
Heritage Pharmaceuticals Inc. [EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ] announced that William S. Marth has joined the Company as President and Chief Executive Officer, North America and Europe. Marth also will be appointed as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. Marth previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for AMRI. Marth served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Teva Americas until his retirement in 2012, remaining as a senior advisor to Teva until December 2013.
Stuart Weitzman [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Eraldo Poletto as Chief Executive Officer and Brand President of. Poletto is expected to join the Company on April 30, 2018 and will succeed Wendy Kahn, the brand’s current Chief Executive Officer and Brand President, who is leaving the Company. Poletto most recently held the role of Chief Executive Officer of Salvatore Ferragamo Sp.A. Previously, from 2010 until 2016, Poletto was the Chief Executive Officer of Furla.
Willamette Community Bank [ALBANY, NY] announced the appointment of Joan Reukauf as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Reukauf has previously served as WCB’s Interim Chief Executive Officer, has been an executive with the Bank since 2010 and has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer since 2013. Reukauf succeeds departing CEO Daniel McDowell, who has announced his intention to resign for personal reasons.
Medin Technologies, Inc. [TOTOWA, NJ] announced Bill Donaldson has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of its board of directors. Andy Novotny announced his resignation and will be assisting in the leadership transition.
Tech Data [CLEARWATER, FL] (NASDAQ: TECD) announced that Richard T. (“Rich”) Hume, executive vice president, chief operating officer, will become the company’s chief executive officer effective June 6, 2018 and has been nominated to join the company’s Board of Directors. Hume will succeed Robert M. (“Bob”) Dutkowsky, who will transition to the role of executive chairman of the Board. Hume joined Tech Data in 2016 as executive vice president, chief operating officer. Prior to joining Tech Data, Hume spent more than thirty years at IBM, holding a variety of executive positions including general manager and chief operating officer of Global Technology Services. Hume has also previously served as general manager, Europe, and as general manager, Global Business Partners for more than three years.
Preferred Apartment Communities [ATLANTA, GA] (NYSE: APTS) announced that the Company’s Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, John A. Williams unexpectedly passed away. The Company has appointed Vice-Chairman and Chief Investment Officer Daniel M. DuPree to succeed Williams as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer.
vSpatial [PROVO, UT] has named John Sallaway as its new CEO and Chairman of the Board. As a co-founder of vSpatial, Sallaway has been serving as the company’s Chief Operating Officer since its inception in 2016. Sallaway replaces Richard Platt, the original founder and CEO of vSpatial. Platt will continue in his role as the company’s President.
Llamasoft [ANN ARBOR, MI] announced that Razat Gaurav has joined the company as its new Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors. Guarav succeeds founder and current CEO Don Hicks, who will continue as the Chairman of the Board.
iSchemaView [REDWOOD CITY, CA] announced that Don Listwin, has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Listwin spent a decade at Cisco Systems, where he served as executive vice president. In addition, Listwin founded and holds the role of chief executive officer of the Canary Foundation.
