Quiznos [DENVER] announced the selection of Susan Lintonsmith as the brand’s new Chief Executive Officer. Lintonsmith joined the brand as Chief Marketing Officer in 2012. Her most recent role was Global Chief Marketing Officer.
Canadian Tire Corporation [TORONTO] announced the appointment of Stephen Wetmore as President and CEO of the Company. He succeeds Michael Medline who became President in 2013 and CEO in 2014. Mr. Wetmore will remain a Director of the Company but will step down as Deputy Chairman of the Board. He was CEO of the Company from January 2009 to December 2014.
MSD [STOUGHTON, Mass.] announced the appointment of Tom Burke as its new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Burke joins MSD following a distinguished 30-year career with Cardinal Health, where he most recently served as the SVP and GM of the Innovative Delivery Solutions division, and previously served as the CEO of Novis Pharmaceuticals.
DDS Lab [TAMPA, Fla.] announced William (Bill) Braun as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Braun comes to DDS Lab from Steris PLC, where he served in multiple leadership roles including President of the Outsourcing Solutions Division; President of the Reusable Surgical Solutions Division; and Senior Vice President of Operations, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance.
Annai Systems [CARLSBAD, Calif.] announced it has appointed James “Jamie” Levine as chief executive officer. Michael Penley, previous CEO, will continue to have key executive responsibilities as Annai’s chief business officer. Prior to joining Annai, he was the CEO of Sapphire Energy, Inc. and of Verenium Corporation. Levine previously was a managing director at Goldman Sachs & Co.
CSC ServiceWorks [PLAINVIEW, N.Y.] announced that its board of directors has appointed Mark Hjelle as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board. Most recently, Hjelle served as President, Brickman/ValleyCrest.
Infogain [LOS GATOS, Calif.] has named Sunil Bhatia as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Bhatia has held the position of CEO Designate at Infogain since the completion of Infogain’s acquisition of the IT assets of Blue Star Infotech Ltd. Founder and former CEO Kapil Nanda will remain an active part of the company as full-time Executive Chairman of Infogain’s board of directors. Mr. Bhatia’s work history includes senior executive positions with IBM, Accenture and Tech Mahindra in the US and Asia. Prior to Infogain’s acquisition of BSIL, he led the company as CEO and Managing Director.
AgroFresh Solutions, Inc. [PHILADELPHIA] (NASDAQ: AGFS) announced that Jordi Ferre will join the company as chief executive officer. Ferre will replace Nance Dicciani and Stephen Trevor, AgroFresh board members who have served as interim co-CEOs sinceMarch 2016. Ferre most recently served as the chief operating officer for PureCircle Limited. Over the course of his career, Ferre has been responsible for operations, manufacturing, finance, and sales and marketing at organizations such as Tate & Lyle PLC, Wise Foods Inc., Chupa Chups Group, and Warner Lambert Company.
Platinum Diagnostic Lab [LINDEN, N.J.] has chosen Konstantin Bas as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Combined Agents of America, LLC [AUSTIN, Texas] announced Peter Cross has joined the agency as new Chief Executive Officer. Before joining CAA, he served as managing director at ARM Risk Solutions. Prior to his leadership at ARM Risk Solutions, Peter was a managing member and senior risk consultant at an independent insurance and risk management practice for more than a decade which he owned and operated.
BioSurplus [SAN DIEGO] announced that it has appointed Bill VanDeWeghe as president and chief executive officer (CEO). Former president and CEO Cinco Plumb will continue to serve as chairman of the BioSurplus board of directors. VanDeWeghe previously co-founded and served as CEO of RippleNami, Inc. Prior to that, VanDeWeghe served as a managing director at RA Capital Advisors and as a senior shareholder with Klinedinst PC law firm.
Presidio Trust [SAN FRANCISCO] the board of directors announced its selection of Jean S. Fraser to lead the independent federal agency that oversees the nearly 1,500 acre national park and former military post. Ms. Fraser was the former Chief of the San Mateo County Health System. Prior to serving as the Chief of the San Mateo County Health System, Ms. Fraser was the CEO of the San Francisco Health Plan.
Second Genome, Inc. [SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.] announced the appointment of Glenn Nedwin as chief executive officer, president and member of the company’s board of directors. Most recently, Dr. Nedwin was chief executive officer of Taxon Biosciences, Inc. Earlier in his career, he served as president of Novozymes, Inc. and as executive vice president of the Genencor Technical Enzymes Division of Danisco.
Decibel Therapeutics [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced the appointment of Steven H. Holtzman to president and chief executive officer. Mr. Holtzman succeeds interim chief executive officer, Kevin Starr, a partner at Third Rock Ventures, who will remain chairman of Decibel Therapeutics’ board of directors. Mr. Holtzman joins the company from Biogen, Inc., where he most recently served as executive vice president, corporate development. Prior to Biogen, Mr. Holtzman served as the founder, chief executive officer and chair of the board of directors of Infinity Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He was also an early leader and the chief business officer of Millennium Pharmaceuticals and was a founder, member of the board and the executive vice president of DNX Corporation. Mr. Holtzman is a member of the boards of directors of PMV Pharma, Visterra, Humatics, The Sync Project and Molecular Partners.
ShopRunner [PHILADELPHIA & SAN MATEO, Calif.] announced the appointment of Sam Yagan as its CEO. Sam has co-founded several popular consumer internet businesses, including SparkNotes and OkCupid. After Match Group acquired OkCupid in 2011, Sam was named CEO of Match Group in 2012 and led the company through its IPO in Q4 of 2015. Sam serves as Vice-Chairman of Match Group, Inc. and as a member of the Management Board of the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Habitat for Humanity [SAN FRANCISCO] has named Maureen Sedonaen as the organization’s next Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Habitat, Sedonaen was a consultant for various social impact nonprofits, government initiatives, and other businesses. Previously, Sedonaen was the President and CEO of Goodwill San Francisco. Before joining Goodwill San Francisco, Sedonaen worked for Revolution Foods as Regional Vice President. Sedonaen also founded and served as President and CEO for The Youth Leadership Institute for 20 years.
BRG Sports, Inc. [ROSEMONT, Ill.] announced the appointment of Dan Arment to President and Chief Executive Officer. He steps into the CEO role previously held by Terry Lee, who will become a Strategic Advisor to the Company and continue to serve as Executive Chairman. In addition, Mr. Arment is being promoted to CEO of Riddell, Inc. Mr. Arment joined the Company 15 years ago and has held a number of key positions within the organization, such as President of Riddell. He most recently served as Executive Vice President of BRG Sports and as President of Bell Cycling Products.
ResMan, LLC [PLANO, TEXAS] has appointed Dave McKenna as Chief Executive Officer. McKenna assumes leadership of ResMan, LLC, formed as the successor to Ensoware, LLC. McKenna joined Ensoware, LLC in February 2015 as Executive Vice President. Prior to joining ResMan, LLC, McKenna was the Senior Vice President of Syncadd Systems. McKenna served for thirteen years as a leader within RealPage, Inc.
Iroko Pharmaceuticals, LLC [PHILADELPHIA] announced the appointment of Louis J. Vollmer as President and Chief Executive Officer effective July 6, 2016. Mr. Vollmer has been serving as President of Iroko since March 2015 and continues as a member of Iroko’s Board of Directors, which he joined in February 2014. He succeeds Osagie Imasogie, Iroko’s Founder, as CEO; Mr. Imasogie will remain Iroko’s Chairman. Mr. Vollmer began his career at DuPont Merck, progressing quickly in roles of increasing responsibility and ultimately serving as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for DuPont Multi Source Products. He then played a key role as one of three founding partners and management team leaders of Endo Pharmaceuticals.
DDR Corp. [BEACHWOOD, Ohio] (NYSE: DDR) announced that DDR Board member Thomas F. August was named President & Chief Executive Officer. The appointment of Mr. August follows the termination of David J. Oakes as President and Chief Executive Officer and as interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. August is currently Chairman of the Board of DCT Industrial Trust Inc. Mr. August previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Equity Office Property Trust (EOP) from July 2010 until the end of 2015 and served as its Chairman from October 2009 to July 2010. Mr. August also previously served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and a Trustee of Prentiss Properties Trust, from 1996 until its acquisition in 2006. In addition, he held other executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer, at Prentiss beginning in 1987.
AptarGroup, Inc. [CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill.] (NYSE: ATR) announced that President and CEO, Stephen Hagge has informed the Board of Directors that he plans to retire. Mr. Hagge intends to continue to serve as a director of AptarGroup.
Kinetic Social [NEW YORK, NY] announced the appointment of Matt Gilbert as CEO as well as to the company’s Board of Directors. Matt arrives at Kinetic from 500friends, and CPG brands that he co-founded in 2011.
CRDF Global [ARLINGTON, VA.] announced that Michael Dignam will join as President and CEO. From 2011-2014, Dignam served as President and CEO of PAE. Prior to his role with PAE, Dignam spent 25 years with Lockheed Martin holding a variety of leadership and executive management positions.
NetMotion Wireless [SEATTLE, WA] announced that its president, Christopher Kenessey, has been appointed CEO. Kenessey succeeds John Ferron, who will remain an active member of NetMotion’s board of directors. Previously, Mr. Kenessey was instrumental in leading The Foundry to HgCapital. He also joined Cisco via the acquisition of Tidal Software where he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
Cogentix Medical, Inc. [MINNEAPOLIS] (NASDAQ: CGNT) announced that Darin Hammers has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Hammers was also appointed to the Board of Directors of Cogentix. Mr. Hammers had been appointed interim President and Chief Executive Officer in May. Mr. Hammers’ joined Cogentix Medical predecessor company Uroplasty as Vice President of Global Sales in January 2013 and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing in August 2013. In January 2016 he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer prior to being named interim President and CEO in May. Prior to joining Uroplasty, Mr. Hammers was Vice President of Sales for Bard Medical Division of C.R. Bard based in Covington, GA. Prior to that, Mr. Hammers spent more than 12 years with Boston Scientific.
HCP [IRVINE, Calif.] (NYSE: HCP) announced that its Executive Chairman, Michael D. McKee, has assumed the additional role of interim President and CEO, replacing Lauralee Martin, who has left the Company and its Board. Mr. McKee became HCP’s Executive Chairman in May 2016, and has served as Independent Chairman and Lead Director prior to that. He has been Chief Executive Officer of Bentall Kennedy U.S., L.P., from 2010 to 2016. Prior to that, Mr. McKee was the Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Irvine Company, where he had been an executive officer since 1994. Prior to that, Mr. McKee was a partner with the law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP from 1986 to 1994.
iGambit Inc. [SMITHTOWN, NY] (OTCQB: IGMB) has appointed Rory Welch as Chief Executive Officer. Welch joined iGambit with the acquisition of ArcMail in November 2015 where he has and will continue to serve as the President and CEO, in addition to his new role. Mr. Welch will succeed John Salerno, who will continue as iGambit’s Chairman of the Board. Prior to joining ArcMail, he managed his own consulting firm, and before that held leadership positions at Movado Group, Inc., including COO for the Boutique Division and Senior Vice President of Wholesale Operations. Earlier in his career, Rory was VP of Strategic Planning and Analysis at Arrow Electronics. While at Arrow, Rory also held positions as: VP of Product Management for Asia-Pacific; General Manager of Aerospace/Military program accounts; Product Manager; and Asset and Logistics Manager.
National Home Health Care Corp. [NEW YORK] announced it has named Stan Dennis as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Dennis succeeds Steven Fialkow, who is retiring after 33 years with the company but will remain on the company’s board. Before joining National Home Health, Mr. Dennis was a senior operating executive at private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson and Stowe. Previously, Mr. Dennis served as President and COO of naviHealth. Earlier in his career, he served as Executive Vice President of Optum and CEO of Local Care Delivery, United Health Group’s Physician Enterprise. His tenure includes C-suite roles at Texas Health Resources, Allina Health System, Phycor/NAMM and Anthem Health Plans.
Avnet Inc. [PHOENIX] (NYSE: AVT) announced that William (“Bill”) J. Amelio, a member of Avnet’s Board of Directors, has been named as interim Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Amelio is replacing Rick Hamada, who is stepping down from his position at the company and on the Board of Directors. Mr. Amelio was the president, chief executive officer and a director of CHC Group Ltd., from 2010 to 2015. From 2005 to 2009, he served as president and chief executive officer of Lenovo, and was previously a regional senior vice president and president, Asia-Pacific and Japan for Dell Inc. He began his career with the Microelectronics Technology Division of IBM in 1979 and later became the General Manager Worldwide Operations of the Personal Computer Division. Mr. Amelio also previously served on the Board of Directors of National Semiconductor.
MPRO [FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.] announced that Leland A. Babitch has been named president and CEO. Dr. Babitch succeeds Robert J. Yellan, who retired. Prior to joining MPRO, Dr. Babitch served as an executive medical director at The Advisory Board Company. Dr. Babitch has previously held positions as the chief medical information officer at the Detroit Medical Center, and as a pediatric clinician and teacher at Wayne State and the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He began his career as a general pediatrician in the St. Louis area.
Cimarron Energy Inc. [NORMAN, Okla. and HOUSTON] announced that Jeffrey L. Foster has joined the Company as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Foster joins the Company from MicroSeismic Inc., where he was President and CEO since 2014. He began his career at Exxon as a senior production and completions engineer; was a global operations manager for Halliburton; and was a senior executive with Tesco Corporation.
Helix [SAN CARLOS, Calif.] announced the appointment of Robin Thurston as chief executive officer. Robin previously co-founded and built MapMyFitness and most recently served as chief digital officer at Under Armour.
Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P. [LOS ANGELES] announced that it has named Mike Levitt Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”). The firm also announced it has elevated Bob Sinnott, previously President and CEO, to be Co-Chairman of Kayne alongside Ric Kayne, the founder of Kayne. Formerly, Mr. Levitt was Vice Chairman of Apollo Credit Management within Apollo Capital Management, LLC. In addition, Mr. Levitt founded and was CEO of Stone Tower, LLC. Previously, Mr. Levitt worked as a partner in the New York office of Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Incorporated. Prior thereto, Mr. Levitt served as the Co-Head of the Investment Banking Division of Smith Barney Inc. Mr. Levitt began his investment banking career at, and ultimately served as a Managing Director of, Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc.
Leeward Renewable Energy, LLC [DALLAS] announced the appointment of Gregory C. Wolf as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wolf most recently served as President of Duke Energy Renewables. Prior to assuming the President role, Mr. Wolf was Senior Vice President of Development for Duke Energy’s commercial unit.
Taos Ski Valley [TAOS, N.M.] announced that David Norden has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Norden began his career working for the SE Group. He worked as the vice president of Spruce Peak Realty of the AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp. Norden also served as Project Manager for the Hines Resorts development of Aspen Highlands Village, Colorado.
Capstead Mortgage Corporation [Dallas, Texas] (NYSE: CMO) announced that it has named Phillip A. Reinsch as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Reinsch replaces Andrew F. Jacobs, who has resigned. Mr. Reinsch has served as the Company’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary since 2006 and was appointed Treasurer in 2015. Previously he served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary from 2003 to 2006 and served in other executive positions with the Company since 1993. Prior thereto Mr. Reinsch was employed by Ernst & Young LLP from 1984 to 1993.
