Aida Minerals Corp. [VANCOUVER, British Columbia] (CSE: AMC) announced the appointment of James Hyland as Interim President & CEO. James is currently a Director of Aida and has more than 25 years of experience as a financial and marketing consultant, a corporate founder and manager of a number of early stage public and private Canadian businesses. His industry expertise includes technology, publishing, financial services, oil & gas, hospitality, mining, alternative energy and healthcare appliances. Hyland has also worked with a major mining and resource publication based in Vancouver, BC. The appointment of Hyland follows the resignation of Robin S. Tolbert from of the Company’s as CEO and Director.

John Proctor

Martello Technologies [Kanata, Canada] announced the appointment of John Proctor as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Prior to his work in the private sector Proctor served for more than twenty years in the Canadian and British Forces. Since entering the private sector he has served in multiple roles, including Vice President, Global Cyber Security at CGI.

Elsevier  [CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts] announced that Emilie Marcus, the CEO of Cell Press and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Cell, has decided to move on to a new role at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Gale Nelson

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami [MIAMI] announced that Gale Nelson, who currently serves as the president and who served as the organization’s executive vice president for 11 years, has been elevated to president and CEO. The transition becomes effective January 8, 2018. Lydia Muniz, who has served as president and CEO for 30 years, will become chief executive emeritus.

William Callahan

Arizona Bank & Trust [PHOENIX] (NASDAQ: HTLF) announced the appointment of William Callahan as President and CEO. Callahan joined Arizona Bank & Trust in May 2016, as President and is now also assuming CEO responsibilities. Prior to joining Arizona Bank & Trust, he served 17 years at Dubuque Bank and Trust, most recently as President.

Roy Anderson Corp. [GULFPORT, Miss.] (NYSE: TPC) announced that J. Mark Smith has joined and been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Roy Anderson Corp. (RAC), the Company’s Gulf Coast building subsidiary. Smith succeeds Roy Anderson III, who earlier this year provided notice that he would be retiring from RAC. Smith was previously a Senior Vice President and General Manager at AECOM. Prior to AECOM, he served as a Senior Vice President at Yates Construction.

Green Cures and Botanical Distribution Inc. (GRCU) [LOS ANGELES, CA] (OTC PINK: GRCU) appointed William Pitsicalis as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to start on January 15, 2018.

Imaging3, Inc. [BURBANK, Calif.] (OTCQB: IGNG) announced that it has appointed John Hollister as chief executive officer and chairman of the board. Most recently, Hollister served as CEO of NuLife Sciences, Inc. and CEO of NEMUS Bioscience. Prior to NEMUS, he was vice president of marketing for Tethys Bioscience. Earlier in his career he was the CEO and chairman of EEG Spectrum, an EEG device manufacturer.  John began his career working for SmithKline Beecham and Amgen.Hollister serves as a board member for the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation (formerly NARSAD).

Bovie Medical Corporation [CLEARWATER, Fla.] (NYSEMKT: BVX)  announced that Charles D. Goodwin has been named Chief Executive Officer, and will join the Company’s Board of Directors. Goodwin succeeds Robert L. Gershon, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities. The Board thanks Rob for his service and wishes him well in his future endeavors. Previously, Goodwin was Vice President of Olympus Corporation’s global surgical energy group for five years. Prior to joining Olympus, he was the President of Worldwide Sales at Gyrus ACMI.

Neurotrope, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: NTRP) announced the appointment of Charles S. Ryan as Chief Executive Officer and Director. The appointment follows the resignation of Susanne Wilke. Ryan becomes a Director of the Company effective immediately and will assume his responsibilities as CEO effective February 15, 2018. Ryan has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at Forest Laboratories for more than 10 years. Ryan is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Orthobond Corporation where after leaving Forest Laboratories and prior to joining Orthobond, Ryan served as Vice President, General Counsel for Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Ryan currently serves on the Board of two public companies, Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. and BioRestorative Therapies, Inc. as well as Orthobond, Inc. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of The College of Wooster.

Foresters Financial [TORONTO] announced the appointment of James Boyle as the new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 8, 2018. Jim spent almost 20 years with Manulife Financial and John Hancock in a variety of operating roles, culminating in his being named President & CEO of John Hancock in 2008. Jim retired from John Hancock in 2012 and has subsequently been involved in private and venture capital investing and, most recently, was CEO of an early-stage healthcare technology startup, Zillion Group Inc. Jim joined Foresters Board of Directors earlier this year in June.

American Osteopathic Foundation [CHICAGO] announced Rita Forden was named chief executive officer. Forden was recently chief operating officer and board treasurer of the Corporate Leadership Center. She has also served as chief executive officer at Susan G. Komen, Chicago, and chief development officer at the American Cancer Society.

Synergy Pharmaceuticals Inc. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: SGYP) announced that Troy Hamilton, previously Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Gary S. Jacob previously President, CEO and Chairman, has assumed the position of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Hamilton joined Synergy in July 2015. Prior to joining Synergy, Hamilton held multiple commercial leadership roles over a nine year period within the GI Business Unit at Shire Pharmaceuticals. Before Shire, he spent most of his career at Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen Pharmaceuticals and McNeil Specialty Products in a number of leadership roles.

Dysonics [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Perry Teevens has joined the company as its Chief Executive Officer. Most recently he was CEO at Comhear, Inc. Prior to Comhear, Teevans held senior leadership positions at multimedia and software companies including Harman, Skype, Intel, VideoServer, Radvision, and Aricent, as well as holding sales management and business development.

Starr Companies [NEW YORK ] announced the appointment of Steve Blakey as president and chief executive officer of Starr Insurance Holdings. Steve Blakey replaces Chuck Dangelo, who has announced his retirement.

United Games [AMERICAN FORK, Utah] the developer of FireFan™, announced the appointment of Sonny Olsen as its Chief Executive Officer and a member of its board of directors. Jeff Henderson, the founder of United Games, has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer and will continue to serve on the Company’s Board of Directors. Olsen has served as the CEO and COO of JMM Holdings, and also an incorporator and Board Member of the Miner Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Justine Miner (daughter of Oracle founder, Robert Miner), based in San Francisco. Previously, Olsen was a co-founder for Heideman, McKay, Heugly & Olsen. Olsen also served on the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Organizing Committee, as part of the Mitt Romney team brought in to “save” the beleaguered organization, and to oversee the successful buildout of event venues just in time for the opening of the 2002 Winter Olympic games.

Coveris [CHICAGO] announced that it has appointed Jakob A. Mosser as Chief Executive Officer. Mosser will take over the CEO responsibilities from Interim CEO Dimitri Panayotopoulos, who will continue to serve the Company as Chairman. Mosser has held a number of senior leadership roles in the packaging industry, ranging from General Manager to CEO, in both Europe and North America. In 2006, Mosser successfully restructured Unterland. After serving as CEO for the Consumer Flexibles Division of Mondi for a few years, he founded Schur Flexibles. In 2016, Schur Flexibles was sold and Mosser continued as the CEO of the company prior to joining Coveris.

Deerwalk Incorporated [BOSTON] announced Jeff Gasser has been promoted from President to Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Hilda Ramirez

Keller Williams Silicon City [SAN JOSE Calif.] announced Hilda Ramirez as their new CEO and team leader. She has served the real estate industry for the past 30 years most recently in Association Management as the Director of PR, Communications, Education and Special Events at Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS®.

CSX Corporation [JACKSONVILLE, Fla.] (NASDAQ: CSX) announced that it has named James (Jim) M. Foote as the company’s president and chief executive officer. Foote was named acting CEO on December 14, 2017 after E. Hunter Harrison was placed on medical leave. Foote will also join the Company’s Board of Directors. Foote, a senior executive with over 40 years of railroad industry experience in finance, operations and sales and marketing, was named executive vice president and chief operating officer of CSX in October 2017. Prior to joining CSX, Foote was president and chief executive officer of Bright Rail Energy. Before heading Bright Rail, Foote was executive vice president of sales and marketing with Canadian National Railway Company. Foote joined Canadian National in 1995 as vice president of investor relations to assist the company’s privatization. He also served as vice president of sales and marketing merchandise.

Tellza Inc. [MIAMI] (TSX: TEL) announced the appointment of Luciano Garavaglia as the Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary, Matchcom Telecommunications Inc. Garavaglia replaces Helmut Eichhorn, who served as Chief Executive Officer. Garavaglia has previously worked with several leading telecommunications companies such as Arbinet and Telefonica.

Steve Ritchie

Papa John’s International, Inc. [LOUISVILLE, Ky.] (NASDAQ: PZZA) announced the promotion of Steve Ritchie to Chief Executive Officer. Ritchie started with Papa John’s in 1996 as a customer service representative. In 2006, he became a Papa John’s franchise owner and operator, then in 2010 began serving in increasing capacities of leadership in operations until being promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2014. Ritchie was added to the succession plan for the company’s top job in 2015 when he was named President.

Cleco Corporate Holdings LLC [PINEVILLE, La.] announced William “Bill” Fontenot as the new chief executive officer. Fontenot most recently served as chief operating officer of Cleco Corporate Holdings LLC and interim CEO of Cleco Power.  He will assume the role of CEO of Cleco Corporate Holdings LLC and all subsidiaries, including Cleco Power, as well as join the board of managers. Peggy Scott will resign as interim CEO of Cleco Corporate Holdings LLC effective Dec. 31, 2017, and will remain chair of the Cleco board of managers. Fontenot began his Cleco career in 1986 as an engineer and has worked in various capacities at the company including business development, commercial operations and utility operations. For the last six years, Fontenot has served as chief operating officer. Fontenot serves on the boards of the Council for a Better Louisiana, Association of Edison Illuminating Companies, Southeastern Electric Exchange.

Forestar Group Inc. [AUSTIN, Texas] (NYSE: FOR) announced Phillip J. Weber, Chief Executive Officer, will step down from this position effective December 28, 2017 and Daniel C. Bartok has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Weber plans to assist Forestar in the transition. Bartok joins Forestar with more than 35 years of experience in real estate, most recently serving as the Executive Vice President of Owned Real Estate for Wells Fargo. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, he built a successful real estate development company.

René F. Jones

M&T Bank Corporation [BUFFALO, N.Y.] (NYSE: MTB) announced that René F. Jones has been appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of M&T and its principal banking subsidiary, M&T Bank. He was also elected to the Board of Directors of both M&T and M&T Bank. Jones succeeds M&T’s Chairman and CEO Robert G. Wilmers, who died suddenly on December 16, 2017. Jones joined M&T in 1992 and was appointed to the Management Committee in 2005. He served as M&T’s Chief Financial Officer from 2005 to 2016.

Golden Tag Resources Ltd [MONTREAL] (TSXV: GOG) has accepted the resignation of David M. Rigg as Chief Executive Officer of the Company. In light of Rigg’s resignation, the Board has appointed Bruce Robbins, presently a director of the Company, as interim Chief Executive Officer.

Harleysville Financial Corporation [HARLEYSVILLE, Pa.] (OTCQX: HARL) announced that Ronald B. Geib, Chief Executive Officer, will retire from active management of the Company and Bank as CEO on March 30, 2018. He will continue as a board member and as Chairman of both the Corporation and the Bank. The Company approved Brendan J. McGill, current President and Chief Operating Officer to succeed Geib as CEO effective March 31, 2018. With over 20 years of banking experience McGill joined the Bank in September 1999 as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. In January 2014 McGill was elected as a director of the Bank and the Company. Mr. McGill is actively involved in the community; he is currently on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee at Spruce Lake Retreat, a member of the Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey United Way local board, and a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh board.

InVivo Therapeutics Holdings Corp. [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced that Richard Toselli has been appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer of InVivo, replacing Mark D. Perrin, who has resigned as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of InVivo’s Board of Directors. Toselli, a Board-certified neurosurgeon possessing senior leadership experience in surgical medical affairs at firms including Sanofi, DePuy, and Johnson & Johnson, will continue to serve in his capacity as InVivo’s Chief Medical Officer, which role he assumed upon joining the Company in July 2017. Prior to joining InVivo, Toselli served as Chief Medical Officer for Cochlear Limited. Previously, Toselli served five years at Sanofi in various levels of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Global Medical Affairs – Immunology and Inflammation, Biologics Division; Vice President of Global Medical Affairs and Head of the Biosurgery Discovery Performance Unit; and Vice President of Global Medical Affairs, Biosurgery. Prior to this, he served as Chief Medical/Technology Officer for Covidien Surgical, and earlier held various roles at DePuy Spine including Director of Medical Affairs, Worldwide Vice President of Research and Development, and Worldwide Vice President of Clinical Evidence and External Relations. He held the position of Vice President of Evidence-Based Medicine at Johnson & Johnson for the device sector.

Ares Management, L.P. [LOS ANGELES] (NYSE: ARES) announced Co-Founder and President Michael J Arougheti has also been named Chief Executive Officer of Ares Management.

Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [HENDERSON, Nev.] (NASDAQGS: SPPI) has terminated Rajesh C. Shrotriya from his position as Chief Executive Officer, and announced leadership changes under which Joseph W. Turgeon, the current President and Chief Operating Officer, has been named President and Chief Executive Officer and elected to the Board of Directors. Turgeon brings more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including various executive leadership roles at Amgen Inc. He had served as Spectrum’s President and Chief Operating Officer since April 2014, and had previously served as the Company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer from October 2012 to April 2014. Prior to joining Spectrum, Turgeon spent 22 years at Amgen Inc. as Vice President of Sales.

Giga-tronics Incorporated [DUBLIN, Calif.] (OTCQB: GIGA) announced the proposed departure of its Co-CEO, Suresh Nair who tendered his letter of resignation from the role of Co-Chief Executive Officer to pursue a new opportunity. The Company has named John Regazzi CEO; a position he previously held with the Company until August 2016, when the Company’s Executive Chairman, William Thompson stepped in as Acting CEO to enable Regazzi to focus on the open technical issues. Thompson stepped down from the Acting CEO role in June of 2017 as his position was temporary and both Regazzi and Nair were named Co-CEOs.

Ruby Tuesday, Inc. [MARYVILLE, Tenn. and ATLANTA] and NRD Capital announced that Aziz Hashim Founder and Managing Partner of NRD, will serve as the Company’s interim CEO until the Firm appoints a permanent successor to the outgoing CEO and President, Jim Hyatt. Aziz Hashim has three decades of experience owning and operating franchises around the globe, and previously serving as Chairman of the International Franchise Association from 2016-2017. As NRD’s Managing Partner, which he founded in 2014, Hashim oversees all aspects of NRD’s vision and investment strategy. Prior to NRD Capital, in 1996 Hashim founded NRD Holdings

Alliance Pipeline Ltd. [CALGARY, Alberta] announced that Terrance Kutryk Alliance President and CEO, is no longer with the company. On an interim basis, Jason Wiun of Pembina Pipeline Corporation and Mark Fiedorek of Enbridge Inc. will act as co-Presidents.
