VASCO Data Security International, Inc. [OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill.] (NASDAQ: VDSI) announced that President and Chief Operating Officer Scott Clements has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. He has also been elected to the board of directors. Clements succeeds Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer T. Kendall Hunt. Clements was appointed VASCO Chief Strategy Officer in 2015 and was promoted to VASCO President and COO in November 2016. Clements joined the Company in 2015 from Tyco, where he was previously the president of the Retail Solutions business and the company’s Chief Technology Officer. Before joining Tyco, Clements was at Honeywell International and held various leadership roles.
Mairs & Power [SAINT PAUL, Minn.] announced that Jon Theobald, who has been Chairman and CEO since 2012 will be retiring at the end of the year. Mark Henneman will become Chairman and CEO replacing Theobald on January 1rst, 2018. Henneman joined Mairs & Power in 2004 as Vice President and was named President and CIO in 2015.
THINX Inc. [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Maria Molland Selby as CEO. Selby has previously held leadership roles at companies such as Splacer, Fab.com, Thomson Reuters, Dow Jones, Yahoo!, and Walt Disney Internet Group.
Portland General Electric [PORTLAND, Ore.] announced that Jim Piro, president and CEO, has notified the board of directors of his decision to retire on December 31. The company has appointed Maria Pope, senior vice president of Power Supply, Operations and Resource Strategy, to succeed Piro. Pope joined the company in 2009 as senior vice president of Finance, CFO and treasurer after having served several years on the PGE Board of Directors. Prior to joining PGE, Pope served as the CFO for Mentor Graphics and held a variety of leadership positions at Pope & Talbot and Levi Strauss & Co. Pope will assume the role of CEO and member of the board of directors effective January 1, 2018.
AppBus [PHILADELPHIA] announced that William (Bill) J. Conners, Jr. has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Conners was previously the executive vice president for global sales and business development at SevOne.
JustRight Surgical, LLC [LOUISVILLE, CO] announced that Robert Kline has joined the company as CEO. Kline replaces co-Founder and CEO, Russ Lindemann, who is retiring. Most recently, Kline was President and CEO of ViroCyt, Inc. Previously, Kline was the Founder, President and CEO of Medivance, Inc.
Brightcove Inc. [BOSTON] (NASDAQ: BCOV) announced that it has appointed Andrew Feinberg, currently President and Chief Operating Officer, as acting Chief Executive Officer. Feinberg succeeds David Mendels, who reached a mutual agreement with the Board to resign as CEO and as a Director of the Company. Feinberg joined Brightcove in 2005 and served in multiple executive roles prior to being named President and COO last year.
HIMSS [CHICAGO] has announced the appointment of Harold “Hal” Wolf III as its new president and CEO. He will succeed H. Stephen Lieber, who announced his plans to retire as HIMSS President and CEO. Wolf is currently the director of The Chartis Group. Before joining The Chartis Group, Wolf was senior vice president and chief operating officer of Kaiser Permanente’s Permanente Federation. Prior to Kaiser Permanente, Wolf worked as chief information officer for the e-business, corporate systems and wholesale division of Quest Communications/USWest. Previous endeavors include working with Time Warner and MTV Networks, and as a senior advisor to McKinsey and Company and ADVI, LLC.
The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. [BETHESDA, Md.] announced that Joseph Caravalho Jr. will become its next president and chief executive officer. He will replace John W. Lowe, who retired in May. Caravalho will join the company on Sept. 1, 2017. Currently, Caravalho serves as the Joint Staff Surgeon at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. For more than 30 years, he has served the U.S. Army in various leadership positions, including commanding general of the Southern Regional Medical Command and Brooke Army Medical Center, the Northern Regional Medical Command, and the Army Medical Research and Materiel Command and Fort Detrick in Maryland. Before becoming Joint Staff Surgeon, he was Army Deputy Surgeon General and Deputy Commanding General of the U.S. Army Medical Command.
OrthoAccel Technologies, Inc. [HOUSTON] announced that it has named David Josza as CEO. Josza most recently served as corporate vice president and general manager for Zimmer Biomet Dental. Prior to that, Josza had a 14-year career at Biomet 3i most recently serving as vice president of the Americas.
OHL North America [COLLEGE POINT, N.Y.] announced that Thomas Iovino, chief executive officer of OHL NA and CEO and founder of Judlau Contracting, will retire from the companies. Ashok Patel, who was serving as chief operating officer (COO), will take over as the CEO of OHL NA. Patel joined Judlau in 2009 as Vice President and was promoted to President soon after. He became COO of OHL North America in October 2015. Ashok still serves as President of Judlau Contracting Inc. Prior to joining OHL, Ashok spent more than 23 years at the MTA New York City Transit and MTA Capital Construction.
ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc. [MEMPHIS, Tenn.] (NYSE: SERV) announced the appointment of Nikhil Varty as Chief Executive Officer of the Company and as a member of the Board. Varty is a dynamic leader with extensive experience leading and managing large, complex organizations for high-performing multi-national corporations, including WABCO Holdings Inc., Honeywell International, Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation [CHICAGO] has named William T. Schmidt as the next President and CEO. Schmidt most recently served as the CEO of the Foundation Fighting Blindness, Inc. (FFB). Schmidt also served as CEO of the FFB Clinical Research Institute, the clinical research arm of the FFB. Schmidt has held senior executive roles at several health advocacy organizations, including the Epilepsy Foundation of America and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He succeeds Patti Tuomey, who led the PFF from 2010 through February 2017.
M Financial Group [PORTLAND, Ore.] has named Westley V. Thompson as its new President and CEO. Wes, who officially starts on September 1, 2017, and will be a member of the M Board, succeeds Fred H. Jonske. Wes is the former President of Sun Life Financial U.S. and served in a variety of senior leadership roles at Lincoln Financial Group. Most recently, Wes has been active in the insurtech world as the founder and CEO of Emerge.
ERBA Diagnostics, Inc. [MIAMI] (OTC PINK: ERBA) announced that David Barka will become the Interim Chief Executive Officer (“CEO“) of the Company. Barka has served as the Vice President of Calbiotech, Inc. since 2004, as the President of Calbiotech Veterinary Diagnostics since 2017 and as the President of Moduline Systems since 2013.
Know Allergies [CHARLESTON, S.C.] announced the appointment of Greg Rayburn as Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”). Rayburn has significant experience as CEO of multiple companies over a 30-year career, most recently as Chairman and CEO of Hostess Brands.
ECRI Institute [PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa.] announced that Jeffrey C. Lerner, president and CEO, will be retiring on December 31, 2017.
Aereon [AUSTIN, Texas] announced that Saeid Rahimian has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Rahimian joins Aereon after most recently serving as President and CEO of Gardner Denver Energy Group.
AJS Bancorp, Inc. [MIDLOTHIAN, Ill.] (OTC Pink: AJSB) announced that Thomas R. Butkus will retire as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company and the Bank.The company has also announced the appointment of Jerry A. Weberling to Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company and the Bank.
Mediware Information Systems Inc. [LENEXA, Kan.] announced that Bill Miller will join as Chief Executive Officer. Miller most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of OptumInsight at Optum. He succeeds Kelly Mann, who joined the company as a CEO in 2007. Prior to OptumInsight, Miller served as the Vice President of Technologies at Cerner Corporation.
Galaxy Gaming, Inc. [LAS VEGAS] (OTC: GLXZ) announced that Todd P. Cravens, the Company’s Vice President of Business Development, has succeeded Galaxy’s founder, Robert B. Saucier, as President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining the Company in January 2017, Cravens was the CEO of the Americas for TCS John Huxley and has over 25 years of experience in the gaming and entertainment industries.
Pharmavite LLC [NORTHRIDGE, Calif.] announced the appointment of Jeff Boutelle as their new Chief Executive Officer and board member. Boutelle is an accomplished consumer products goods chief executive, with extensive global experience including careers at Abbott, Nestle, Procter & Gamble and most recently Beech-Nut Nutrition where he was CEO.
Cousins Properties Incorporated [ATLANTA] (NYSE: CUZ) announced that it has appointed Larry Gellerstedt to the combined role of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Gellerstedt joined Cousins in July 2005, and he has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since July 2009.
Yellow Pages Limited [MONTREAL] (TSX: Y) announced the departure of Julien Billot, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation. The company has named Ken Taylor, the Corporation’s current Chief Financial Officer, interim President and CEO. Taylor joined Yellow Pages in March 2017. He previously served as a director of Sandvine Corporation, CFO at BTI Systems and March Networks Corporation, Vice President, Finance at Newbridge Networks Corporation and Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at Alcatel.
