Kleo Pharmaceuticals Inc. [NEW HAVEN, Conn.] announced the appointment of Douglas J. Manion as Chief Executive Officer. Manion will also serve on the company’s Board of Directors. He has been involved with the initial approval or life-cycle expansion of over 20 major brands. Doug has over 20 years of experience including Dupont Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline and, most recently, Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Analyte Health [CHICAGO] announced the appointment of Kevin Weinstein as Chief Executive Officer and will also join the company’s Board of Directors. Weinstein succeeds Frank Cockerill, who will be Analyte’s Chief Medical Officer. Cockerill will continue to serve on the company’s Board of Directors. Previously, Weinstein served as the Chief Growth Officer for Valence Health, and held various executive positions with ZirMed, Rise Health and Allscripts.
Corporate Chaplains of America, Inc. [RALEIGH, N.C.] announced Larry Griffith as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. Before being named the CEO, Griffith served as the EVP and Chief Operating Officer of Geneva College. Prior to Geneva College, Griffith worked his way up the leadership structure at Alltel. Griffith moved from VP of Marketing in their Southern Market Area to VP-General Manager of Central South Carolina, to Area President-Southwest Operations, to Senior VP- National Operations Support.
CloudMine, Inc. [PHILADELPHIA] announced the appointment of Stephen Wray as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining CloudMine, Wray was CEO at MNG Direct. Previously, Wray served as the President and CEO of at the Cadient Group and North American President at Ogilvy Healthworld. Wray also spent a decade in leadership positions at Wyeth (now Pfizer), including Vice President, Marketing Communications.
NCI Building Systems, Inc. [HOUSTON] (NYSE: NCS) announced that Donald R. Riley will become Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Riley joined NCI in December of 2014 as the President of Group Business Segment and since January 2016, he has served as President of the Company. Before joining NCI, he was employed by Probuild Holdings, LLC where he served as Executive Vice President. Prior to joining Probuild Holdings, Riley was employed by Mohawk Industries, Inc. serving in various capacities such as Chief Information Officer, Senior Vice President Logistics, and Interim Flooring Executive Vice President Customer Experience.
Del Taco Restaurants, Inc. [LAKE FOREST, Calif.] (NASDAQ: TACO) announced that President and Chief Brand Officer John D. Cappasola, Jr. has been named as Chief Executive Officer, to succeed Paul J.B. Murphy, III. Cappasola will also replace Murphy on the Company’s Board of Directors. Murphy will remain with the Company into July to ensure a seamless and orderly transition of leadership and responsibilities. Cappasola has been Del Taco’s President since January 2017 and Chief Brand Officer since February 2011.
Motorsport Network [MIAMI] announced that former NASCAR Digital Media Vice President Colin Smith will join Motorsport Network as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Smith joins Motorsport Network after spending the past five years at NASCAR Digital Media. Prior to joining NASCAR Digital Media, Smith spent 15 years with Raycom Media / Raycom Sports.
Capezio [NEW YORK] has named Lynn Shanahan, as its CEO. Prior to Shanahan’s appointment, Marc Terlizzi and Anthony Giacoio, shared the CEO title. Terlizzi and Giacoio will now sit on the company’s board of directors. Most recently, Shanahan was CEO of Kellwood Company. Prior to Kellwood, Shanahan had a 15-year career at Tommy Hilfiger where Shanahan was Group President.
Veritas Capital [NEW YORK] announced that it has named Stu Shea, Chief Executive Officer of MHVC Acquisition Corp. which was acquired by Veritas Capital. Stu is the former President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Leidos, and was the principal architect in the creation of Leidos when he served as COO of SAIC. Prior to being named COO, Stu led SAIC’s support to the National Security Community as President, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group. Stu is also a founder of the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation and the highly acclaimed GEOINT Symposium.
Tremor Video, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: TRMR) announced that Mark Zagorski will be joining the company as its Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Board of Directors. Zagorski most recently served as CEO of eXelate, a Nielsen Company, and EVP of Nielsen Marketing Cloud. Paul Caine, who led the CEO search committee as Interim CEO, will continue as Chairman of the Board following Zagorski’s appointment. Prior to eXelate, Zagorski held leadership positions at WorldNow and MediaSpan.
J.Crew Group, Inc. [NEW YORK] announced that it has named James Brett as Chief Executive Officer and will also join the company’s Board of Directors. Brett most recently served as President of West Elm. Prior to West Elm, Brett was the Chief Merchandising Officer for the Urban Outfitters. He has also served in various merchandising roles at other retailers including Anthropologie, the J.C. Penney Company, Inc. and May Department Stores Company.
Flex Pharma, Inc. [BOSTON] (NASDAQ: FLKS), announced that Christoph Westphal, will transition from his role as Chief Executive Officer and remain as Chair of the Board. Flex Pharma has appointed William McVicar, currently serving as the Company’s President of Research and Development, as interim CEO. McVicar brings over 30 years of clinical development experience, most recently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Inotek. During his tenure at Inotek, he also served as Executive Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development, Chief Scientific Officer, and President. Prior to Inotek, he served as Vice President of Development Operations at Sepracor. Prior to Sepracor, McVicar held various positions of increasing responsibility at Sandoz, Novartis and Rhone Poulenc Rorer.
Aquam Corporation [SAN DIEGO] announced the appointment of Dan Squiller as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the board of directors. With over 30 years’ experience in executive leadership roles, Dan has seen success at Scientific Atlanta, St. Bernard Software, Lambda, Invensys plc, and PowerGenix. Most recently, Dan was the CEO of Verengo Solar.
Braeburn Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [PRINCETON, N.J.] announced that Michael M. Derkacz has been named as President and Chief Executive Officer and joins Braeburn’s Board of Directors. Most recently he was Senior Vice President and Head of Global Central Nervous System (CNS) and Pain Therapeutic Areas for Teva Pharmaceuticals (TEVA). During the past six years at Teva, Mike led the strategic development of the CNS and Pain Therapeutic Areas. He joined Teva through the acquisition of Cephalon, where he served as Vice President of the CNS Business unit. Previously at Cephalon, he was Vice President of Marketing. Mike worked for more than 15 years at GlaxoSmithKline in positions of increasing leadership and commercial responsibility. Behshad Sheldon, who joined Braeburn as a founding member in 2012, has announced that she is stepping down from Braeburn as President and CEO and from the Board of Directors, but will continue to serve as a consultant.
Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) [ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill.] announced that it has appointed Kerry Stackpole as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director. Most recently, Stackpole served as an advance team leader for the Executive Office of the President, working both domestically and internationally to execute events on behalf of the President and Vice President of the United States. Prior to the White House, he was President and CEO of Printing and Graphics Association Mid-Atlantic. He has also served as CEO of four other trade associations and as an interim CEO and strategy consultant to professional groups. Stackpole succeeds Barbara C. Higgens, who has led PMI for the past 19 years and who will continue to assist in a consulting capacity during the transition to the new leader.
Tapad [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Sigvart Voss Eriksen as its CEO. Voss Eriksen previously held the role of head of advertising technology at Tapad’s parent company, Telenor, and succeeds Are Traasdahl, who will transition to chairman emeritus, a senior advisory role at Tapad.
BlockFraud [LOS ANGELES] announced the hiring of former global telecommunications company executive, Massimo Cristini, as its new CEO. Cristini leaves his previous position as Vice President of Business Operations for international IT and telecommunications company, Infobip, to join BlockFraud.
iJET® International, Inc. [ANNAPOLIS, MD] announced that Benjamin (Ben) Allen has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and new Board member. Bruce McIndoe, a founder of iJET, will remain as President and Board member. Ben brings a wealth of directly relevant experience, most recently serving over the last four years as President of Marsh & McLennan Agency, LLC, a division of Marsh, Inc. Prior to this position, Ben served in numerous leadership roles with Kroll, including President & CEO from 2008 through 2010. Ben also served as CEO of Ontrack Data International.
Netgain [ST. CLOUD, Minn.] announced the appointment of Kevin Lynch as their new CEO. Lynch was previously the CEO of Volerro, and also was recently the Chairman of DocuTAP. Lynch is succeeding Scott Warzecha, the founder and CEO of Netgain who is assuming the role of Chairman of the Board. Prior to joining Netgain Lynch was CEO of Nistevo. Lynch will also be a member of the board of directors of Netgain.
Medical Reimbursements of America (MRA) [FRANKLIN, Tenn.] announced that it has appointed S. Mark Talley as its new CEO. Julie Klapstein, a member of Riverside’s Healthcare Advisory Board has been leading the Company on an interim basis. Klapstein will continue in her role as a Board member of MRA and its sister company, Bottom Line Systems. Prior to joining MRA, Talley served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Zotec MMP
Lutheran Social Services (LSS) of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, Inc. [MILWAUKEE] announced Héctor Colón as President and CEO. Colón will replace retiring President and CEO David Larson. Colón comes to LSS after six years as Director of the Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services. LSS’s current President and CEO David Larson recently announced he will retire in February 2018. For the past 15 years, he has served as President and CEO.
The Telecommunications Industry Association [ARLINGTON, Va.] announced that Wes Johnston has been named Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, he was the Managing Director for Technology, Media and Telecommunications at The Gores Group. While with Gores, he was a board director with Alpheus Telecommunications, Elo Touch Systems, Imagine Communications and the Tweddle Group. Prior to his work with the Gores Group, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with technology integrator Dimension Data.
