Chipotle Mexican Grill [DENVER] (NYSE: CMG) announced that it has appointed Brian Niccol as chief executive officer and a member of the Board, effective March 5, 2018. Prior to joining Chipotle, Brian Niccol was at Taco Bell from 2011 and served as CEO from January, 2015 and president from 2013 to 2014. Prior to Taco Bell, Niccol held leadership roles at Pizza Hut, including vice president of strategy, chief marketing officer, and general manager. Niccol began his career at Procter & Gamble where he spent 10 years in various brand management positions.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (Blue Cross) [EAGAN, Minn.] announced that Michael Guyette has informed the company that he will leave in March to pursue another CEO leadership opportunity. Guyette will join VSP Global as CEO. The Board has named Kathleen Blatz, a current Blue Cross board member, to serve as interim CEO. Before her 1996 gubernatorial appointment to the Minnesota Supreme Court as an associate justice, Blatz practiced law at a Minneapolis law firm and later served the citizens of Hennepin County, first as an assistant county attorney and then as a district court judge. She was also elected for eight terms in the Minnesota House of Representatives, serving on various committees including the Health and Human Services Committee. Blatz served as chief justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court from 1998 to 2006. She joined the Blue Cross board of Trustees in 2009.
Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc. [LAKEVILLE-MIDDLEBORO, Mass.] announced that Randy Papadellis, president and chief executive officer, announced his intention to leave the Cooperative on July 1, 2018 after 18 years. Papadellis joined Ocean Spray in 2000 and has served as president and chief executive officer since 2002.
The Boston Beer Company, Inc. [BOSTON] (NYSE: SAM) announced that it has selected Dave Burwick to succeed Martin Roper as President and Chief Executive Officer. It is expected Burwick will assume the role during the second quarter. Burwick served on Boston Beer’s Board of Directors since 2005. In late 2012, Burwick was named President and CEO of Peet’s Coffee. Prior to joining Peet’s, Burwick served as President of North America for Weight Watchers and in numerous leadership roles over 20 years at PepsiCo, including CMO of Pepsi-Cola North America.
Dun & Bradstreet [SHORT HILLS, N.J.] (NYSE: DNB) announced that Thomas Manning, a director of the Company since 2013 and Lead Director since 2016, has been appointed Chairman of the Board and interim Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Manning’s appointment follows Robert Carrigan’s decision to step down as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and as a director of the Company. Manning was appointed Lead Director of the Dun & Bradstreet Board of Directors and Chairman of the Nominating & Governance Committee in 2016 and has served as a member of the Audit Committee and Innovation & Technology Committee since joining the board in 2013. He is a former global operating executive who served as the CEO of Cerberus Asia Operations & Advisory Limited, a subsidiary of Cerberus Capital Management, CEO of Capgemini Asia, and CEO of Ernst & Young Consulting Asia. He was also a senior partner with corporate strategy firm Bain & Company where he led the global IT practice in Silicon Valley and Asia. Mr. Manning currently serves on the boards of CommScope Holding Company, Inc. and Clear Media Limited.
LMI Aerospace [ST. LOUIS] has named Lawrence E. “Ed” Dickinson III as chief executive officer. Dickinson originally joined LMI in 1993 as chief financial officer, and later took on other roles before retiring in June 2016. In his brief retirement, Dickinson continued to serve as a consultant to the company. In November 2017, Dickinson rejoined LMI as interim chief operating officer.
Quantum [MORTON GROVE, Ill.] announced Cheryl Kahanec as its new Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Kahanec served as President, Marketing Solutions Group for Mittera/EarthColor and prior she was President, Digital Solutions at Sandy Alexander.
Tidewater Inc. [NEW ORLEANS] (NYSE: TDW) announced the appointment of John T. Rynd as the Company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective March 5. He will replace Larry T. Rigdon who has served as interim President and Chief Executive Officer since October of 2017. Mr. Rynd previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President, and as a director of Hercules Offshore from 2008 through 2016. Prior to his time with Hercules, Mr. Rynd spent 11 years with Noble Drilling Services, Inc., where he served in a variety of management roles. Earlier in his career, he served in various roles of increasing levels of responsibility with Chiles Offshore and Rowan Companies. He serves on the Board of Directors of Fieldwood Holdings LLC, and was on the Board of Directors of Hornbeck Offshore, Inc. from 2011 to February 2018.
EM Key Solutions (EMKS) [ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.] announced it has named Mike Snyder as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this role, Snyder served as Chief Operating Officer of Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI). Prior to joining PSI, Snyder served as Deputy Program Executive Officer for the Joint Medical Information Systems, TRICARE Management Activity. Snyder is also a retired Navy Medical Service Corps Officer with a broad experience base in finance, human resources, acquisition management and contracting, information technology, and hospital administration.
Sector 5, Inc. [Alexandria, VA] (OTCQB: SFIV) announced the appointment of Erick Kuvshinikov as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kuvshinikov brings more than 22 years of manufacturing and IT management and marketing experience to Sector 5. Prior to his appointment, Erick worked directly with clients from diverse backgrounds in retail, wholesale, business to business.
Treliant [WASHINGTON] announced that Susanna K. Tisa has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Tisa is a founding member of the firm, most recently serving as Chief Business Officer. A 30+ year banker and consultant, she has managed significant client engagements as well as the Executive Leadership Team since the firm was founded nearly 10 years ago.
Tidewater Logistics Corporation [FORT WORTH, Texas & NEW YORK] announced that Scott Prince is the Company’s newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Prince previously served as CEO of Pilot Thomas Logistics.
K2 Energy [HENDERSON, Nev.] announced the appointment of Sean Campbell as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for K2 Energy, succeeding Johnnie Stoker. Sean Campbell joined K2 Energy 6 months ago following a successful career inside Zodiac Aerospace, Zodiac Data Systems, where he served as CEO, as well as in other executive management positions.
ARHT Media Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: ART) announced the appointment of Larry O’Reilly as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors. Mr. O’Reilly led the international sales team that transformed the IMAX brand from a museum theatre experience with 150 locations to a global commercial distribution channel for IMAX and Hollywood films.
Ethos Gold Corp. [VANCOUVER, British Columbia] (TSX-V: ECC) announced the sudden death of its founder, President and Chief Executive Officer, Gary Freeman. Craig Roberts, a director of Ethos, has been appointed by the Board to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer on an interim basis to oversee daily operations and corporate strategy.
K12 Inc. [HERNDON, Va.] (NYSE: LRN) announced that Nathaniel A. Davis was appointed as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, and will remain Chairman of the K12 Board of Directors. Davis joined the K12 Board of Directors in 2009. He has served as Chairman of the Board since June 2012 and as Executive Chairman since January 2013. Davis previously served as K12’s Chief Executive Officer from January 2014 through February 2016. Stuart Udell resigned as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors effective March 2, 2018.
Amplion Clinical Communications [NASHVILLE, Tenn.] announced that Frank Grant, who has held the president title since April 2017, was named CEO of Amplion. Grant joined Amplion in 2014 to lead the company’s sales, business development and marketing efforts, having served as chief sales and marketing officer at Adreima. Previously, he spent more than a decade with technology juggernaut Cisco Systems.
Nevada Copper Corp. [VANCOUVER, British Columbia] (TSX: NCU) announced that Giulio T. Bonifacio is retiring from his role as President & Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Bonifacio will continue to serve on the Company’s board of directors as a non-executive director. Mr. Bonifacio founded Nevada Copper in 2005. Abraham (Braam) Jonker, currently a non-executive director of the Company, will assume Mr. Bonifacio’s responsibilities as interim President & Chief Executive Officer.
Inter-State Studio & Publishing Co. [SEDALIA, Mo.] announced that Aric Snyder, Jr. has been named Chief Executive Officer and President. He takes over as his father, Aric Snyder, Sr., steps down after more than 25 years in the position and nearly 50 with the company. Aric Snyder, Jr. has been involved with Inter-State since his teen years, serving in the Territory Manager training program, then as Territory Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Director of Marketing before being promoted to Vice President in June 2015.
Bracket [WAYNE, Pa.] announced the appointment of Michael P. Nolte as Chief Executive Officer. The company’s current CEO, Jeff Kinell, will remain on the Bracket Board of Directors as a strategic advisor. Nolte joins Bracket after serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Influence Health. Prior to Influence Health, Mike served as the President and COO of MedAssets and spent 7 years at GE, where he led GE’s Healthcare IT Service Business in the Americas, served as the GM of GE’s Enterprise Revenue Cycle Business and led business transformation activities for GE’s Chief Information Officer. Mike’s early career included five years with McKinsey & Company and six years as a U.S. Army Officer.
Otter Media [LOS ANGELES] announced that Tony Goncalves is joining as CEO of the company. Goncalves most recently served as Chief Executive Officer, Digital Brands for AT&T. Prior to AT&T he held a number of roles at DIRECTV.
Surface Oncology [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced that Jeff Goater, currently the company’s chief business officer, has been promoted to chief executive officer. Mr. Goater succeeds interim chief executive officer Dan Lynch, who will remain executive chairman of Surface’s board of directors. Prior to Surface, he served as chief financial officer of Voyager Therapeutics. Previously, Mr. Goater spent nearly a decade in investment banking where he was most recently a managing director at Evercore Partners. In addition to his role at Surface, Mr. Goater also serves on the board of Vaccinex, Inc.
accesso Technology Group plc [ORLANDO, Fla.] (AIM: ACSO) announced that Paul Noland, current president and CEO of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), will succeed Steve Brown as accesso chief executive officer, effective April 9, 2018. Noland served for 16 years in senior executive roles with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Prior to Disney, he spent more than a dozen years in leadership roles with Marriott International w. Noland will step down from his existing role at IAAPA to focus on his new role at accesso.
Predata [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Hazem Dawani as Chief Executive Officer. Dawani joins Predata having spent the past 10 years as co-founder and CEO of OptionsCity Software. Previously, Dawani served as a director in the software department at Chicago Trading Company. He also worked at SSI as a software engineer.
Makers Nutrition, LLC [HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.] announced that Jason Provenzano has joined as President and CEO.
MadaLuxe Group [LOS ANGELES] announced that Adam Freede, President, will assume the role of CEO. MadaLuxe Group’s co-founder and CEO emeritus, Sandy Sholl, has been named Executive Chairman and will continue to oversee retail, e-commerce and marketing. Freede most recently served as President of MadaLuxe Group which he co-founded with Sandy Sholl in 2010.
IPR, Inc. [HUDSON, Wis.] announced Brian McLaughlin was named CEO. Brian McLaughlin was most recently president of the Transportation Mobility division of Trimble. Prior to Trimble, McLaughlin was president of PeopleNet which he joined in 2001 and was acquired by Trimble in 2011.
Port Logistics Group [LOS ANGELES] announced that Jeff Wolpov, former President and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Port Logistics Group, has been named its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Bob Stull, former CEO of Port Logistics Group, has assumed the role of Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors. Wolpov is the founder of Distribution Solutions, the platform on which Stull co-founded Port Logistics Group in 2008.
