Purdue [STAMFORD, Conn.] announced that Craig Landau was appointed President and CEO for the U.S. operations, and will retain responsibility for Purdue Pharma (Canada). Through his 14 years with the U.S. organization, Landau served as Purdue Pharma L.P.’s Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of R&D Innovation, Clinical and Medical Affairs. In 2013, he was appointed President and CEO of Purdue Pharma (Canada). CEO Mark Timney is leaving Purdue to pursue other career opportunities.
Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. [PLANO, Texas] (NYSE: DPS) announced that Lain Hancock has been named chief executive officer for Bai Brands. He will take over leadership from Bai founder Ben Weiss, who has left the business. Hancock had previously served as executive vice president, human resources for DPS. He joined the company in 2007 after serving as a consultant at McKinsey & Co.
PrincePerelson & Associates [Salt Lake City, UT] has announced the appointment of Chip Luman as the new CEO over its Project Solutions and Temporary Staffing divisions. Luman joins PrincePerelson Project Solutions from HireVue, where he was co-founder and COO. Prior to his position at HireVue, Chip held various executive roles at Charles Schwab. In addition, Luman managed software development in the gaming industry with Acclaim Entertainment and held various HR roles with Pepsi and Marathon Oil.
MNG Direct [BENSALEM, Pa.] announced the promotion of Chris Wiltshire to Chief Executive Officer from his previous position of Chief Customer Officer. Chris has been with MNG Direct since joining one of its predecessor companies, NexGen RxMarketing, in 2007 as a Vice President of Business Development.
CurbStand [LOS ANGELES] has officially named co-founder Arya Alexander as its Chief Executive Officer. Alexander took the wheel at CurbStand as the Interim CEO in March 2016, following the departure of Serge Gojkovich.
Avant Diagnostics, Inc. [GAITHERSBURG, Maryland] (OTC: AVDX) announced the appointment of Philippe Goix as President & CEO. Most recently, Goix served as President & CEO of Prism Health Diagnostics, Inc. (PHDX). Prior to PHDX, Goix served as President & CEO of Singulex, Inc.
GE Appliances (GEA) [LOUISVILLE, Ky.] announced that CEO Chip Blankenship has elected to exit the business at the end of 2017. Succeeding Blankenship as President & CEO is Kevin Nolan, currently VP and Chief Technology Officer for GEA and Qingdao Haier.
InterDesign [CLEVELAND] announced the appointment of Chris Quinn as CEO. Chris most recently served as the President and CEO of Streetsboro. Prior to this, he served as executive vice president for North America with New Balance Athletic and spent several years in senior-level executive roles with Procter & Gamble as well as The Clorox Company.
Chemical Financial Corporation [MIDLAND, Mich.] (NASDAQ: CHFC) announced that its Chief Executive Officer and President David B. Ramaker has decided to retire from the Corporation in the third quarter of this year. Additionally, the Corporation announced that David T. Provost was named President and CEO.
S&W Seed Company [HANFORD, Calif.] (NASDAQ: SANW) announced that Mark W. Wong has been named CEO. Mark Grewal, who served the Company as CEO since October 2009, resigned as CEO and as a member of the Board of Directors. Since January 2012, Wong has served as Chairman of American Dairyco. Between 2008 and December 2015, he served either as Chairman of the Board or chief executive officer of Agrivida. Wong was the founder and CEO, from 1999 to 2005, at Emergent Genetics. Prior to Emergent, he managed a series of other agricultural and biotechnology companies, including Agracetus Corporation and Agrigenetics Corporation. Additionally, Wong was a founder and a partner of Colorado Financial Holdings. Wong also worked as an engineer for Chemical Construction Corporation and served as a director of BioFuel Energy Corp.
Dexmet Corporation [WALLINGFORD, Conn.] has appointed Tim Poor as its Chief Executive Officer. Poor was previously with Aquion Energy Inc. as its Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to Aquion, Poor held several executive roles at American Superconductor Corporation. Prior to American Superconductor Corporation, Tim held senior leadership roles at General Electric.
Localytics [BOSTON] announced that Jude McColgan will become its CEO. McColgan brings nearly 20 years of experience in the enterprise software space based on his leadership roles at Oracle, TomTom, Nuance Communications and Avast Software. He comes to Localytics from Avast Software, where he served as the President of Mobile. Previously, he served as Vice President and General Manager at Nuance Communications, as well as Group Vice President for Mobile at TomTom. Prior to that, he spent nearly 10 years at Oracle.
NetFortris [SEATTLE & DALLAS] announced that it has appointed Kevin Dickens, current Chief Operating Officer, and Gene Carr, current Chief Financial Officer, as Co-CEOs, replacing Grant Evans who will remain on the board of directors. Before serving as Chief Operating Officer at NetFortris, Dickens served as CEO of Ventraq. Prior to Ventraq, Dickens served as Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Choice One Communications. Dickens also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of ACC TelEnterprises, Ltd. Prior to serving as CFO at NetFortris, Carr spent seven years as the CEO of GCP Consultants, LLC.
Vitalyst [BALA CYNWYD, Pa.] announced that Barry O’Donnell will lead the business as its Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, O’Donnell served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Account Management at Vitalyst. He has held leadership positions at CDI, Princeton Information and Omni OnSite IT Staffing.
Swedish [SEATTLE] appointed Guy Hudson as Chief Executive Officer. Hudson has served in several leadership roles during his 10 years at Swedish, including Western Washington Chief of Physician Services, Chief Medical Officer for Swedish Medical Group and Executive Director of Pediatrics for all of Swedish.
The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh [PITTSBURGH] has selected Wendy Ann Pardee as President and CEO of the organization. Pardee will succeed long-time President and CEO David Miles. Pardee most recently served as the CEO and President of Hattie Larlham. Previously, Pardee served for three years as the President and CEO of Skills of Central Pennsylvania.
The Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation [GREENVILLE, Texas] announced the appointment Dan Mantz as Chief Executive Officer. Mantz is Chairman of the Board for the REC Foundation and previously held the position of President for Rack Solutions, Inc.
Southeastern Grocers [JACKSONVILLE, Fla.] announced that Anthony Hucker, the Company’s Chief Operating Officer, will assume the responsibilities of President and Chief Executive Officer on an interim basis following the resignation of Ian McLeod.
Autodesk, Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO] (NASDAQ: ADSK) announced that it has appointed Andrew Anagnost, current interim co-chief executive officer and chief marketing officer, as the company’s new president and CEO. He will also join Autodesk’s board of directors. Anagnost, began his career at Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company and as an NRC fellow at NASA Ames Research Center. Anagnost’s appointment follows the resignation of the company’s former president and CEO, Carl Bass.
Naf Naf Grill [CHICAGO] announced it has appointed Paul Damico as Chief Executive Officer. Damico most recently served as President of North America for FOCUS Brands, and as the former President of Moe’s Southwest Grill.
OvaScience [WALTHAM, Mass.] (NASDAQ: OVAS) announced the appointment of Christopher Kroeger as Chief Executive Officer. Kroeger joins OvaScience from Cardioxyl Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he served as CEO. Prior to his position at Cardioxyl, he led investing efforts as a Partner at The Aurora Funds. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Genzyme and Decision Resources.
HAI Group [CHESHIRE, CONN.] announced that Edmund (Ed) Malaspina, Jr. has been appointed Interim President and Chief Executive Officer. Malaspina joined HAI Group in 1991 and was most recently the Chief Marketing Officer.
CENX [OTTAWA, ON] announced the appointment of Edward Kennedy as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Edward brings 30 years of leadership experience to CENX, having served in strategic, executive positions for numerous telecommunications companies over the years, most recently as the CEO, and President of Tollgrade Communications, Inc.
Ciox Health [ALPHARETTA, Ga.] announced the appointment of Paul Roma as chief executive officer. Roma joins Ciox from Deloitte LLP, where he was chief analytics officer. He succeeds Ed Coleman, who will remain a member of the board of directors.
Nanotherapeutics, Inc. [ALACHUA, Fla.] announced that Peter H. Khoury, formerly Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Before joining Nanotherapeutics in August 2016, Khoury spent the prior two years with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, serving as Senior Program Officer. Prior to the Gates Foundation, Khoury was Vice President, Global Marketing at Baxter International. Before Baxter International, Khoury served in numerous positions of increasing responsibility in the marketing and sales organization at Merck & Co., Inc., with his last position as Director.
Cenovus Energy Inc. [CALGARY, Alberta] (TSX: CVE, NYSE: CVE) announced that its President & Chief Executive Officer Brian Ferguson will be retiring as an officer and director of the company on October 31, 2017. Ferguson will continue in his roles leading the company and serving on the Board of Directors until that time.
Griffin Capital Company, LLC [EL SEGUNDO, Calif.] announced that Mark M. Goldberg has been named Chief Executive Officer of Griffin Capital Securities, LLC. He will also serve as Executive Vice President of Griffin Capital. Goldberg joins Griffin Capital from W. P. Carey Inc., where he served as Managing Director, Chairman of Carey Financial, LLC, President of W. P. Carey Investment Management, LLC as well as senior executive positions in Carey’s real estate investment trust and business development company. Goldberg previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President of AIG-Royal Alliance, Executive Vice President of SunAmerica Financial Network and President of AIG Securities, Tokyo.
Eton Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [CHICAGO] announced the hiring of Sean Brynjelsen as its Chief Executive Officer. Brynjelsen has over 20 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry with companies including Sagent Pharmaceuticals, Akorn Pharmaceuticals, Hospira and Baxter. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Business Development for Sagent. Prior to his tenure at Sagent, he was Senior Vice President, Global Business Development for Akorn.
Pacific Alliance Bank [ROSEMEAD, Calif] (OTC: PFBN) announced that it has retained Benjamin J.B. Lin to serve as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Since 2015, Lin has been President and CEO of California International Bank, N.A., in Rosemead, California. Prior to joining California International Bank, N.A., Lin served as President and Chief Executive Officer at American Plus Bank, and as Executive Vice President and Head of U.S. Operations at E. Sun Bank.
Halyard Health, Inc. [ALPHARETTA, Ga.] (NYSE: HYH) announced that Robert E. Abernathy will retire as CEO. Joseph F. Woody has been appointed to succeed Abernathy. Woody has also been elected to serve on the board of directors and Abernathy will continue as chairman of the board. Woody most recently served as president and CEO of Acelity.
Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. [BEDFORD, Mass.] (NASDAQ: OCUL) announced that Antony Mattessich will succeed Amar Sawhney as Chief Executive Officer. Mattessich has also been elected to the Company’s Board of Directors. Mattessich brings a wealth of experience to Ocular Therapeutix, having held leadership roles for a number of global pharmaceutical companies across the US, Europe and Asia, including Novartis, Bristol Meyers Squibb and Merck & Co. Most recently, Mattessich was the Managing Director of one of the world’s largest privately-owned pharmaceutical companies, Mundipharma.
Conscious Capitalism, Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.] announced that co-CEO Doug Rauch will step down from his staff leadership role. Fellow co-CEO, Alexander McCobin, will assume sole chief executive responsibilities. During McCobin’s eight years prior to joining Conscious Capitalism, he served as president of Students For Liberty. Prior to Students For Liberty, he worked for the Cato Institute on student programs.

Margolius is an experienced distribution executive with leadership experience gained at HD Supply, Arrow Electronics, and GE. Throughout his tenure at HD Supply, Steve served in various roles including Senior VP at HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, President and CEO of HD Supply Power Solutions, President of HD Electrical, and COO of HD Supply Utilities.
