TMM, Inc. [WILMINGTON, Del.] (OTC PNK: TMMI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul B. Healy as President and Chief Executive Officer. Healy has served on the TMMI Board of Directors since November 2016. Healy, is currently a partner in Gulfstream Limited. In addition to his extensive background in financial services, beginning at Chase Manhattan Bank as Vice President and Client Executive, Global Media and Telecommunications Group, Healy served as the President and CEO of Connexiti, LLC. Healy served for a decade as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations with Hollinger International, Inc.
Baker Hill [CARMEL, Ind.] has named John M. Deignan its new chief executive officer. With nearly three decades of experience, he spent most of his career at Diebold Nixdorf, holding various senior leadership positions.
Rocky Brands, Inc. [NELSONVILLE, Ohio] (NASDAQ: RCKY) is promoting President Core Brands, Jason Brooks to President and Chief Executive Officer. Current Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board Mike Brooks will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board. Jason Brooks has served as President, Core Brands, of Rocky Brands US, LLC since February 2016. He previously served as President, U.S. Wholesale Sales, of Rocky Brands US, LLC from March 2011 until February 2016. Prior to that, he served as the Senior Vice President, U.S. Wholesale from August 2010 until March 2011. From September 2001 until August 2010, Brooks held various Vice President of Sales positions within the Company. He began his career with the Company in 1997 as an independent sales representative. Jason Brooks has also been appointed to the Rocky Brands Board of Directors.
CB&I [THE WOODLANDS, Texas] (NYSE: CBI) announced it has approved the retirement of Philip K. Asherman from his role as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the company’s Board effective July 1, 2017. The Board also announced the appointment of Patrick K. Mullen to President and Chief Executive Officer, effective the same date. Mullen will stand for election to the company’s Board in May 2018. Mullen, was named Chief Operating Officer of CB&I in 2016. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and President of CB&I’s Engineering & Construction operating group, He joined CB&I in 2007 through the company’s acquisition of Lummus Global and has worked in operational and commercial leadership roles throughout the company. Mullen currently serves on Vectren Corporation’s board of directors.
Intrexon Corporation [GERMANTOWN, Md.] (NYSE: XON) announced the appointment of Mark Carnegie-Brown as Chief Executive Officer of its wholly owned subsidiary Oxitec Ltd. Carnegie-Brown succeeds Hadyn Parry. Prior to joining Oxitec, he was Chief Executive Officer of Glide Technologies. Before joining Glide, Carnegie-Brown was General Manager of Zeneca’s Agrochemical business in the United Kingdom and Ireland. He also previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Evolutec plc.
NooBaa [WESTBOROUGH, MA] announced the appointment of Michael Thompson as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining NooBaa, Thompson was President/CEO of Sepaton, which was acquired by HDS/Hitachi. Prior to that, he served as Executive Chairman and CEO/President of Egenera.
DataBank, Ltd. [DALLAS, TX] announced that Raul Martynek has been named Chief Executive Officer, replacing Tim Moore, who will be retiring from the Company. Martynek, most recently was a senior member of the Digital Bridge Data Center team. Moore will continue to serve the Company as an advisor focusing on development projects until the end of the year. Martynek joins DataBank from Digital Bridge where he served as a Principal and Senior Advisor since December 2015. Martynek was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of Net Access. Prior to that, Martynek was the CEO of three other telecommunications infrastructure companies including Voxel dot Net, Smart Telecom Co., and Infohighway Communications, as well as the COO at Eureka Networks.
Biotheranostics, Inc. [SAN DIEGO] announced the appointment of Don Hardison as Chief Executive Officer. Hardison, who was elected to the Board of Directors in July 2016, transitioned into the CEO role earlier this year. Hardison succeeds Nicolas Barthelemy. From 2000-2007, Hardison was CEO of EXACT Sciences, and also held senior leadership roles at Laboratory Corporation of America, Quest Diagnostics, and SmithKline Beecham. Most recently, Hardison was President, CEO, and Director of Good Start Genetics, Inc.
Alion Science and Technology [MCLEAN, Va.] announced that Steve Schorer has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Bahman Atefi, who has served as President and CEO since 2002, will assume the role of Vice Chairman of the board of directors going forward. Previously, Schorer was President of DynCorp from 2011-2013 and returned to DynCorp to serve as President of DynAviation from 2015-2016. He originally joined DynCorp in 2009 to serve as President of Global Platform Support Solutions. Prior to DynCorp, Schorer was President of the Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (C4I) Segment within DRS Technologies from 2003-2008. Prior to DRS, Schorer was President and General Manager of the Ocean Systems Division within L-3 Communications from 1998-2003. He served as a Director of Camber Corporation.
Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) [NEW YORK] announced that interim leader Sylvia Acevedo has been named permanent CEO. Acevedo has held the title of interim GSUSA CEO since June 2016. Before that, she was secretary of the GSUSA Board of Directors. Acevedo has background as an engineer, including experience working for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratories, IBM, and Dell. She has served as the Board Chair for the Austin Community Foundation, and as a strategic consultant to companies that wish to use technology to capitalize on demographic trends, and she was formerly president and CEO of Communicard LLC.
Advanced Instruments, LLC [NORWOOD, Mass.] announced the appointment of Byron Selman as Chief Executive Officer succeeding John Coughlin, who served as CEO of Advanced Instruments for over 16 years and will continue in his retirement as a non-executive Member of the Board. Selman comes to Advanced Instruments from Haemonetics Corporation, where he served most recently as President of Global Markets. Prior to Haemonetics, he spent over 20 years with Pall Corporation in various executive level and general management positions.
Ralph Lauren Corporation [NEW YORK] (NYSE: RL) announced that Patrice Louvet has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. His appointment will become effective July 17, 2017, at which time he will also be appointed to the Ralph Lauren Corporation Board of Directors. Louvet most recently served as Group President, Global Beauty at Procter & Gamble (P&G). Louvet is a brand expert with more than 25 years of experience at P&G. Prior to his current role at P&G, which he has served in since February 2015, Louvet was Group President, Global Grooming (Gillette). He also previously served as President of P&G’s Global Prestige business. He currently serves on the board of directors of Bacardi Limited, which he joined in July 2012.
HotSchedules® [AUSTIN, Texas] announced Mike Arenth as Chief Executive Officer. Arenth started with the company in late 2016. Prior to joining HotSchedules, Arenth was a Senior Advisor to Silver Lake, an Executive Vice President at SAP and before that spent 10 years at Ariba as General Manager and Senior Vice President.
Ovation Logistics [SHERBROOKE, QC] announced that Stéphane Gagné will join its team as Chief Executive Officer. Stéphane Gagné was Chief Operating Officer for Audiokinetic. He previously acted as Head of Industry at Google for the province of Quebec. He also held management positions for TC Transcontinental and the Metro International group.
The Mountain [KEENE, N.H.] has announced that Kenny Ballard, former Senior Vice President of Operations at Osprey Packs, has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Ballard most recently was Senior VP of Operations for Osprey Packs.
Stearns Lending, LLC [SANTA ANA, Calif.] announced the appointment of David C. Schneider to serve as Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Board of replacing Brian Hale who is stepping down from the company. Schneider most recently served as the President of Ditech and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Walter Investment Management Corp. He has also previously held positions as President and COO of CitiMortgage, President of Washington Mutual Home Loans, Senior Vice President for Servicing Strategic Initiatives at JP Morgan Chase, and President and CEO of Vericrest Financial.
American International Group, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: AIG) announced the appointment of Brian Duperreault as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director. Duperreault previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hamilton Insurance Group. Prior to this, Duperreault was President and Chief Executive Officer of Marsh & McLennan Companies from 2008 to 2012. Before joining Marsh, he served for two years as non-executive Chairman of ACE Limited and CEO of ACE Limited from October 1994 through May 2004. Prior to joining ACE, Duperreault served in various senior executive positions with AIG and its affiliates from 1973 to 1994. Duperreault is Chairman of Attune and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Blue Marble Microinsurance. Duperreault is a member of the Boards of the International Insurance Society, the Insurance Information Institute and the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Studies. He serves on Johnson Controls’ Board of Directors.
National Forest Foundation (NFF) [MISSOULA, Mont.] announced that Mary Mitsos has been appointed President of the organization. She succeeds Bill Possiel who is retiring after leading the NFF for 19 years. Currently Executive Vice President at the NFF, Mary has led national, regional, and local conservation initiatives at the NFF since 2001.
Halliburton Company [HOUSTON] (NYSE: HAL) elected Jeff Miller, the Company’s president and a board member, to the position of president and CEO. Dave Lesar, who has led Halliburton as chairman and CEO since 2000, will continue serving the Company as executive chairman. The leadership changes are effective June 1, 2017. Miller joined Halliburton in 1997 and has since served in several leadership roles, including chief operating officer until 2014 when he was named president and was appointed to the Halliburton Board of Directors.
Alucent Medical [SIOUX FALLS, S.D.] named Myles D. Greenberg President and CEO of Alucent Medical, Inc. Greenberg has served as a partner in early-stage health care venture capital firms HealthInvest Equity Partners and CHL Medical and as an active director of many companies developing novel medical devices, biopharmaceuticals and health care technologies. Prior to his career in venture capital, Greenberg was an academic emergency physician and hospital administrator at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School.
Seabreeze Management Company, Inc. [ALISO VIEJO, CA] announced that Isaiah S. Henry has been named its new CEO. Henry joined Seabreeze in 2014. Prior to joining Seabreeze, Henry held the position as senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Professional Community Management, an Associa company. Prior to that, Henry served as vice president, business development at FirstService Residential.
Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast (GSCCC) [VENTURA, CA] announced Jody Skenderian as the council’s permanent CEO. Skenderian previously held the position of Chief Development Officer for GSCCC prior to becoming the council’s interim CEO in October 2016. Skenderian has led business development teams for over two decades including as Director of Community Relations for the University of Phoenix Southern California Campus where she led strategy and implementation of recruitment, in addition to, alumni, community and faculty engagement. Additional business development roles include tenure at ValueClick (now Conversant), Addison Wesley Longman (now Pearson), Winthrop Resources (now TCF Equipment Finance), and most recently at Ventura start-up FreshRealm.
BuildingDNA [DENVER] announced Joe Hernandez as CEO. Hernandez’s career successes in public safety began early on. At Intrado, now West Safety Services, he was instrumental in the development of a nationwide next generation 9-1-1 architecture.
Webspectator Corp [SANTA MONICA, CA] announced Andy Batkin as the new CEO to replace former CEO Andre Parreira. Batkin, built the business model for YAHOO and many other publishers back in 1995 and created the cpm impression model for digital advertising.
Ebates [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Amit Patel, current GM of Ebates, has been selected as the new CEO. Patel will succeed Kevin Johnson, who will remain on the board of Ebates. Prior to joining Ebates in May 2010, Patel was responsible for product development, positioning and packaging at Acxiom.
StoneMor Partners L.P. [TREVOSE, Pa.] (NYSE: STON) announced the appointment of R. Paul Grady as President and Chief Executive Officer. Grady, who will also join the StoneMor Board of Directors, replaces Lawrence Miller, who is retiring as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Grady began his career in 1978 in sales, marketing and corporate development roles at a number of consumer packaged goods companies, including Campbell’s Soup Company. Most recently, Grady served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Rio de Janeiro-based NEO gas S.A. He brings more than two decades experience in the oil and gas industry and since 1995 has held Chief Operating Officer positions at AmeriGas Propane, Heritage Propane and Titan Propane. He rose to become President of Heritage Propane prior to its acquisition by AmeriGas Propane in 2012. Miller began his career at Deloitte & Touche. He has been working as a consultant for StoneMor in recent months. Prior to that he served as Chief Financial Officer of Allentown-based CrossAmerica Partners, formerly Lehigh Gas Partners.
