Universal Music Group (UMG) [SANTA MONICA, Calif.] announced that Paul Rosenberg has been named Chief Executive Officer of Def Jam Recordings, effective January 1, 2018. Rosenberg is the founder and CEO of Goliath Artists Inc and is also the President of Shady Records.
KSIX Media Holdings, Inc. [LAS VEGAS, NV] (OTCBB: KSIX) announced that Brian Cox has been named CEO. Previously, Cox has been the majority owner and CEO of True Wireless. Cox got his start in telecom in 2004 when he founded his first telephone company.
Environmental Lights, Inc. [SAN DIEGO, CA] announced the promotion Jamison Day as Chief Executive Officer. Jamison joined Environmental Lights in 2016 serving as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Environmental Lights, he worked for Mitchell International in a variety of operational roles including interim CFO.
Great Panther Silver Limited [VANCOUVER] (TSX: GPR, NYSE MKT: GPL) announced the appointment of Jim Bannantine as President and CEO. Bannantine will succeed Robert Archer, who, in April 2017, announced his intention to step down this year. Most recently, Jim was President and CEO of Aura Minerals Inc. He previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Broadwing Corporation. He also held several positions over multiple years at Enron Corp.
Match Group, Inc. [DALLAS] (NASDAQ: MTCH) announced the appointment of Mandy Ginsberg to the role of Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2018. Ginsberg will succeed Greg Blatt, who will remain in his role as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Match Group through the end of the year. Previously Ginsberg served as the CEO of The Princeton Review.
Bluestone Resources Inc. [VANCOUVER, British Columbia] (TSX-V: BSR) announced the commencement of Darren Klinck’s tenure as President and CEO. Klinck was most recently Executive Vice President & Head of Corporate Development for OceanaGold Corporation.
Ascena Retail Group, Inc. [MAHWAH, N.J.] (NASDAQ: ASNA) announced that Gary Muto has been appointed to the newly created position of President and CEO.
Quotient Technology Inc. [MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.] (NYSE: QUOT) announced that it has appointed Mir Aamir, currently President and COO, as the Company’s chief executive officer, effective September 1, 2017.
Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. [BEDFORD, Mass.] (NASDAQ: OCUL) announced that Antony Mattessich has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer. Mattessich most recently served as the CEO of Mundipharma International. Mattessich has also held leadership roles at a number of global pharmaceutical companies across the US, Europe and Asia, including at Novartis, Bristol Meyers Squibb and Merck & Co.
Internet of Things Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: ITT, OTC: INOTF) announced the appointment of Michael Agam as CEO of the recently announced New Hope-IoT Intl. Inc. Prior to joining the JV, Agam was the CEO of MNC Ltd. Prior to heading up MNC Ltd., Agam was the VP, Marketing & Business Development at Maxtech Networks. Concurrent to Agam’s role at Maxtech Network, he was an executive board member at Buy2 Networks.
Diversey [CHARLOTTE] announced that Ilham Kadri has been appointed to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer. Kadri joined Sealed Air in early 2013 as the President of the Diversey Care business. She is the founder and Chairwoman of The ISSA Hygieia Network and currently serves as an Advisory Board member of Catalyst.
Valuation Research Corporation (VRC) [SAN FRANCISCO] has named Justin Johnson co-CEO. Johnson is a proven leader within the company, having started VRC’s San Francisco office and building it into one of the company’s leading practices.
Evolve BioSystems, Inc. [DAVIS, CA] has appointed Timothy B. Brown as CEO. Brown will also join the Company’s Board of Directors. Brown has served as Evolve BioSystems’ Chief Operating Officer since joining the company in May 2016. He is a veteran of the consumer packaged goods industry with a background that includes executive leadership positions at Mead Johnson Nutrition and Procter & Gamble.
Mobile1st [AUSTIN, Texas] announced the appointment of Jonathan Silverstein to the role of CEO and president for the company. Silverstein joins Mobile1st most recently from Nexstar Media Group as SVP, Head of Digital Media Businesses. He brings over 25 years of experience as Media General at Greatest Common Factory, GSD&M, Deutsch Inc., J. Walter Thompson and Lowe & Partners.
ACCIONA Energy [CHICAGO] has named Rafael Esteban as CEO of ACCIONA Energy USA Global LLC. He replaces Ilya Hartmann, who served as CEO since 2012. Most recently, Esteban served as ACCIONA Energy’s CEO for South Africa. Prior to his work in South Africa, Esteban served as Director for ACCIONA Energy in Europe and Managing Director for ACCIONA Energy Italy. He joined ACCIONA after working in management positions at Ernst & Young and American Appraisal Associates.
Civista Bancshares, Inc. [SANDUSKY, Ohio] (NASDAQ: CIVB) announced that, effective December 31, 2017, James O. Miller will retire as an employee and relinquish his positions as chief executive officer and president of Civista and as chief executive officer of Civista’s banking subsidiary, Civista Bank.
Lilis Energy, Inc. [SAN ANTONIO] (NYSE: LLEX) announced that its recently named President, James Linville, has been named Chief Executive Officer. Linville has led and managed oil and gas development projects in the majority of the major unconventional U.S. basins, including in the Delaware and Midland basins of the Permian, for companies including U.S. Energy Development Corporation, American Energy Partners, and Devon Energy. Abraham (Avi) Mirman has resigned from his posts as Chief Executive Officer.
Pfenex Inc. [SAN DIEGO] (NYSE MKT: PFNX) announced the appointment of Evert (Eef) Schimmelpennink as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Secretary. Schimmelpennink was also appointed to serve as a Class III member of the board of directors. Prior to joining Pfenex, Schimmelpennink served as the Chief Executive Officer of Alvotech, Vice President Global Injectables at Pfizer and Vice President Global Generics of Hospira.
Nitro Solutions [TAMPA, FLA.] announced that Lisa Monnet has been appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Nitro Solutions, Monnet served as a senior advisor providing multidiscipline support to the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense worldwide.
Atmos Energy Corporation [DALLAS] (NYSE: ATO) announced that it has appointed Michael E. Haefner, currently President and Chief Operating Officer, to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2017.
GRAIL, Inc. [MENLO PARK, Calif.] announced that Bill Rastetter, chairman of the board of directors, has been named chief executive officer.
ClickBank [BOISE, Idaho] announced the appointment of Kevin Strawbridge as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining ClickBank, Kevin was the president of Motorsport Aftermarket Group’s Retail Group. Strawbridge spent his early career in Big 4 auditing with Deloitte. He then transitioned to eCommerce and digital marketing with JCPenney Direct. Following JCPenney, Kevin served in management roles with increasing responsibility in retail and technology.
Wanderport Corporation [SANTA MONICA, CA] (OTC: WDRP) announced that the Company has appointed Ty Cha as Chief Executive Officer.
Cornerstone Defense, Inc. [ELLICOTT CITY, Md.] announced it has named H. Christopher Goodrich, President and Chief Executive Officer. Goodrich has also been appointed to the board of directors of Cornerstone Defense. He has previously held executive roles in the Department of Defense and as the Chief Operating Officer of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber, and Intelligence Solutions group. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President of the SIGINT Solutions and Cyber Operation Business Unit for ManTech’s MCIS Group. Chris spent approximately 20 years working for the National Security Agency. In 2002, Chris transitioned from the Government to private sector joining Northrop Grumman TASC.
MFA Financial, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: MFA) announced that it has appointed Craig L. Knutson as the Company’s co-Chief Executive Officer. Knutson is a nine-year veteran of MFA and currently the firm’s President and Chief Operating Officer.
Flex Pharma, Inc. [BOSTON] (NASDAQ: FLKS) announced that it has appointed William McVicar as President and Chief Executive Officer of Flex Pharma. McVicar joined Flex Pharma in April 2017 as President of Research & Development. In June 2017, McVicar was appointed interim President and CEO. McVicar most recently served as Chief Scientific Officer at Inotek. During his tenure at Inotek, he also served as Executive Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development, Chief Scientific Officer, and President. Prior to Inotek, he served as Vice President of Development Operations at Sepracor.
Florida Hospital Zephyrhills [TAMPA, FL] has named Amanda Maggard CEO, effective Sept. 4. Maggard will be replacing Randy Surber. As administrator, Maggard currently oversees the strategic development and operations of Florida Hospital Winter Garden. Prior to serving as administrator for Florida Hospital Winter Garden, Maggard was the assistant administrator and chief operating officer for Winter Park Memorial Hospital, and previously served as the director of operations for Florida Hospital Altamonte.
