Nelson Global Products Inc. [STOUGHTON, Wis.] announced Steve Scgalski as the Chief Executive Officer. Scgalski, who currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and President of Nelson’s On & Off Highway business will succeed Sergio Carvalho who resigned earlier in November due to personal reasons. Steve’s experience include leadership positions at EMCON Technologies, ArvinMeritor, and Arvin Industries. Steve joined Arvin Industries in 1989 and held positions of increasing responsibility that include Quality Manager, Director of Operations, VP & General Manager of ArvinMeritor, President of Meritor Suspension Systems Company and Chief Operating Officer of EMCON Technologies.
MedBridge Healthcare [GREENVILLE, S.C.] announced that Ghentry Pace will be joining the company as its Chief Executive Officer. Pace has held executive leadership roles in integrated healthcare systems, such as Intermountain Healthcare, and a number of Fortune 500 healthcare providers, including Apria Healthcare and Conifer Health Solutions. Most recently, he served as the Senior Revenue Cycle leader for Fresenius Medical Care.
Case Manager Certification [MOUNT LAUREL, N.J.] has named MaryBeth Kurland as its chief executive officer. Kurland served the Commission as chief operations officer since 2010. Kurland previously served as executive director of the Association of Medical Media, Office Business Center Association International and the League of Professional System Administrators.
Memorial Hermann Health System [HOUSTON] announced the appointment of Anne E. Neeson as Executive Vice President and CEO of the Memorial Hermann Foundation, effective January 23, 2017. Neeson is currently the Vice President of Donor Relations at the United Way of Greater Houston.
Agenovir Corporation [SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.] announced that it appointed Dirk Thye, as chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors. Most recently, he served as chief medical officer of Cidara, Inc. Previously, he co-founded Cerexa and served as president for the last several years of his tenure. Prior to Cerexa, Dr. Thye was a founder and senior vice president of clinical development for Peninsula Pharmaceuticals.
Ubiquity Global Services [NEW YORK] announced that Matthew Nyren has been appointed the company’s chief executive officer. Nyren will succeed Ray Iglesias, who will serve as the company’s executive chairman. Nyren, who founded Ubiquity in 2012, will continue to serve as the company’s president.
Tmunity Therapeutics, Inc. [PHILADELPHIA] announced that it has named Usman “Oz” Azam, to the new post of President and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Azam was most recently the Global Head of the Cell & Gene Therapies Unit at Novartis. Before joining Novartis, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Novaccel Therapeutics LLC. Prior to that he served as Chief Medical Officer at Aspreva Pharmaceutics Inc. His earlier career included positions at Johnson & Johnson, Johnson & Johnson Ethicon, and Warner Lambert-Parke Davis.
Muse bio [BOULDER, Colo.] announced that Dr. Kevin Ness has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Kevin succeeds Muse bio’s founding CEO Ryan Gill, who becomes the company’s Chief Science Officer. Prior to joining Muse bio, Kevin was co-founder, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer of 10X Genomics®. Previously, he co-founded and was Vice President of Product Development at QuantaLife®, acquired by Bio-RAD® in 2011.
Nu Skin Enterprises [PROVO, Utah] (NYSE: NUS) announced that Ritch Wood will become the company’s chief executive officer. He replaces Truman Hunt, who has served as the company’s president and chief executive officer since 2003. Wood was appointed Nu Skin’s chief financial officer and a member of the company’s executive management committee in November of 2002, and previously served in various global leadership capacities at the company. Wood worked for the accounting firm of Grant Thornton prior to joining Nu Skin Enterprises in 1993.
Vectrus, Inc. [COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.] (NYSE: VEC) announced that the board of directors has appointed Charles (Chuck) Prow as the company’s president and chief executive officer. Prow was also appointed to the board of directors and succeeds Kenneth W. Hunzeker, who retired. Prow has held leadership positions at IBM Corporation, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Coopers & Lybrand.
Technical Toolboxes [HOUSTON] announced that Martin Fingerhut has joined as its President & Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Technical Toolboxes, Martin served as Vice President of Strategic Business Development for APPLUS RTD. Before that, he worked as President of Kiefner & Associates, Inc.
Inogen, Inc. [GOLETA, Calif.] (NASDAQ: INGN) announced that it has appointed Scott Wilkinson as Inogen’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wilkinson will also join the Board of Directors. Mr. Wilkinson will succeed Raymond Huggenberger, who is retiring as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Huggenberger will continue to serve on Inogen’s Board of Directors following his retirement as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wilkinson currently oversees Inogen’s global commercial, manufacturing, service, research and development, technical and support operations. Previously, Mr. Wilkinson held various leadership roles within Inogen encompassing sales, marketing, customer service, rental revenue management, technical and repair services, and clinical services. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Wilkinson worked for Invacare Corporation. From 1999 to 2000, Mr. Wilkinson served as a Product Line Director with Johnson & Johnson. From 1988 to 1999, Mr. Wilkinson worked as a Research Scientist, Product Manager, and Project Leader at Kimberly Clark.
California Human Development [SANTA ROSA, Calif.] announced the retirement of Christopher Paige, chief executive officer and brings to close a remarkable career beginning in 1975 as program planner and rising to take the CEO reins in 2011.
Plaza Bank [SEATTLE] (OTCBB: PZBW) announced the promotion of Michael T. Anderson, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Anderson assumed this role upon the retirement of the Bank’s previous CEO, Michael J. Clabby. Mr. Anderson joined Plaza Bank in 2014. He has enjoyed a 26 year career in banking in the Seattle/Puget Sound region.
Spectrum Science Communications [WASHINGTON] announced that Jonathan Wilson will succeed founder John Seng, as Chief Executive Officer. Wilson joined Spectrum as president in 2014 and assumed management of the firm that Seng founded in 1996.
InfoTycoon [ATLANTA] announced that Kevin George, the company’s current President and Chief Operating Officer, will succeed James Davis as Chief Executive Officer. George was named President and COO of InfoTycoon in 2012. Prior to joining InfoTycoon, George was Founder and CEO of Progility Partners from 2007 to 2012. He has also held leadership roles at Click Tactics, Quris, Inc., and Silverpop. George is a recognized leader in the Atlanta technology community.
Clarabridge, Inc. [RESTON, Va.] announced the appointment of Mark Bishof as Chief Executive Officer. He replaces current CEO Yuchun Lee will reassume his previous role as Executive Chairman of the Board. Bishof was recently President and CEO of Flexera Software. Prior to that, Bishof held executive positions at Macrovision, IBM, Deloitte Consulting, Crossworlds Software and Booz, Allen & Hamilton. He is also an Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo.
Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse [PITTSBURGH] announced that James (Jim) F. Jordan has been selected to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding John W. Manzetti, who is elected to the position of Executive Chairman of the PLSG.
The Dove Foundation [GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.] announced that Suzy Sammons has been selected as the new CEO and will succeed Dick Rolfe, who will retire at the end of the year. Most recently, Suzy led the campaign by 180LA, also with long stints at agency greats like BBDO Detroit, Saatchi & Saatchi LA and leading the Chicago office of TBWA\Chiat\Day for 12 years. Today she also serves Borders Perrin Norrander, as Managing Director.
Global Sources [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: GSOL) has appointed Craig Pepples as the CEO of the Company. Mr. Pepples was named Deputy CEO, following the announcement that Spenser Au would retire from Global Sources at the end of 2016.
Advanced Discovery [AUSTIN, Texas] announced that it has appointed Jim Burke as its Chief Executive Officer. He replaces David Vandygriff, founder of Advanced Discovery, who will become President, Corporate Development. Mr. Burke joins Advanced Discovery from vRad (Virtual Radiologic). Prior to vRad, Mr. Burke was the CEO of Global Compliance (now NAVEX Global), served in a variety of senior leadership roles with Dun & Bradstreet, including President, Global Information Services and Chief Quality Officer, as well as executive positions at Prudential and First USA Bank. Mr. Burke also served as a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Vertiv [COLUMBUS, Ohio] now formerly known as Emerson Network Power, announced the appointment of Rob Johnson as CEO. Mr. Johnson, most recently an operating partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, spent 10 years at American Power Conversion (APC), a leader in data center infrastructure. He was President and CEO of APC when the company was sold to Schneider Electric in 2007. In addition to his career at APC, Mr. Johnson has worked in executive positions at Consolidated Container Corporation. In 1989, Mr. Johnson founded Systems Enhancement Corporation (SEC). selling the company to APC in 1997.
Veridium [BOSTON] announced the appointment of new CEO James Stickland. Stickland served in senior executive roles for HSBC, JPMorgan Chase and Cisco. He most recently served as managing director of U.K.-based fintech firm Red Deer Systems.
Bluerock Real Estate [NEW YORK] announced that it has appointed Jeffrey S. Schwaber as CEO of Bluerock Capital Markets, LLC, the managing broker dealer for Bluerock’s suite of investment products and funds. Schwaber joins Bluerock from Griffin Capital Securities where he served as President and Head of Distribution. Schwaber is also lauded for his success as a founding partner and Head of Capital Markets and Distribution at Behringer Harvard.
Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) [PHILADELPHIA] announced that Nancy G. Hesse, MSN, RN has been named President and CEO of its Eastern Regional Medical Center (Eastern) in Philadelphia, Pa. Hesse previously served as Interim President and CEO since February 2016, and before that as Chief Nursing Executive for CTCA® and Chief Nursing Officer at Eastern. Hesse joined CTCA in 2014 after a long tenure at Abington Memorial Hospital. She began her career as a staff nurse in the Emergency Trauma Center and advanced to become the Director of Emergency Trauma and then Chief Nursing Officer for Abington – Lansdale Hospital.
