FordDirect [DEARBORN, Mich.] announced the appointment of Mike Jurecki of RouteOne as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 6. Jurecki has served as RouteOne’s CEO since March 2002. Prior to joining RouteOne, Jurecki spent more than 20 years with Ford Credit where he served as the director of operations for Ford Credit’s Capital Efficiency unit, worked for Ford Credit in the United Kingdom as the general manager of its Customer Service Center and as the manager of World Wide Trade Financing. He also spent many years in a number of field positions across the country, ranging from assistant customer service representative to branch manager of Ford Credit’s largest U.S. branch operation. Valerie Fuller, Chief Operating Officer and interim CEO will continue in her role until June 6, at which time she will remain as COO.
Dow Corning Corporation [MIDLAND, Mich.] announced that Robert D. (Bob) Hansen, chairman, chief executive officer and president, has announced his intention to retire from Dow Corning Corporation upon the completion of Dow’s ownership restructure transaction with Corning, Inc., which is expected to close in the second quarter of 2016. Hansen will stay with the company for several months, helping to ensure a smooth ownership transition for the Dow Corning Silicones business. Hansen has 34 years of service with Dow Corning. After joining the company in 1982, he held a variety of finance, commercial, business leadership and geographic leadership roles, including president of Dow Corning’s operations in Europe. Hansen was named president in 2010, and chief executive officer in 2011. He was elected chairman of the board in 2013. In addition to his current responsibilities, Dow has named Howard Ungerleider, vice chairman and chief financial officer of Dow as chairman of Dow Corning, and Mauro Gregorio, currently vice president leading the Dow Corning integration, as chief executive officer of Dow Corning.
Twitter, Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO] (NYSE: TWTR) announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Debra L. Lee, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BET Networks, to serve as a Board member. Ms. Lee will also serve as a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and, effective following Twitter’s 2016 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, as chairperson of the committee. Ms. Lee is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BET Networks. She joined BET in 1986 and served in a number of executive positions before becoming Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in January 2006, including President and Chief Executive Officer from June 2005 to January 2006, President and Chief Operating Officer from 1995 to 2005 and also served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, and Vice President and General Counsel. Ms. Lee serves on the board of Marriott International, Inc. and WGL Holdings, Inc.
Recombinetics [ST. PAUL, Minn.] hired Ian R. Friendly as Chief Executive Officer. The company’s previous CEO and founder, Dr. Scott Fahrenkrug, has been elevated to Executive Chairman of the Board and will also serve as Chief Scientific Officer. Friendly comes to Recombinetics with 30+ years of executive leadership and retail experience with General Mills, most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, U.S. Retail, which is the largest segment of General Mills.
The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. [WORCESTER, Mass.] (NYSE: THG) announced that it has named Joseph M. Zubretsky president, chief executive officer, and director effective June 20. He succeeds Frederick H. Eppinger, who last fall announced his intention to retire. Zubretsky joins The Hanover after almost nine years at Aetna, a Fortune 50 insurer, where he served most recently as chief executive officer at Healthagen Holdings, and a member of Aetna’s executive committee. Prior to that, he was senior executive vice president leading National Businesses, a $10 billionAetna flagship business that provides health solutions to multi-national companies, and Aetna’s executive vice president and chief financial officer. Zubretsky joined Aetna from Unum Group, where he was senior executive vice president, responsible for the company’s finance, investments, marketing, strategy and risk operations, from 2005 to 2007. Previously, he was a partner at the global private equity firm of Brera Capital Partners and executive vice president of business development and chief financial officer at MassMutual Financial Group.
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions [NEW YORK] appointed Ivan Gonzalez as CEO North America. Mr. Gonzalez is moving from his current position as CEO Latin America and assumes the new role on 1 July 2016. Mr. Gonzalez succeeds Bob Petrilli, who has decided to leave Swiss Re at the end of 2016. Mr. Gonzalez worked in New York for Swiss Re’s Principal Investment & Acquisitions division between 2000 and 2006. Mr. Gonzalez has been with Swiss Re for 16 years, working in Switzerland, the United States and Brazil. In 2011 he became CEO Latin America for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.
Rue La La [BOSTON] announced the appointment of Mark McWeeny as Chief Executive Officer. In a planned succession, Mark McWeeny replaces Steve Davis. McWeeny, one of the original co-founders of Rue La La, has served in a variety of roles including the organization’s Chief Financial Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and President of New Ventures.
Radian Group Inc. [PHILADELPHIA] announced that Chief Executive Officer S.A. Ibrahim informed the company’s Board of Directors of his intention to retire at the end of his contract in December 2017. Ibrahim has served as CEO of Radian since May 2005. Mr. Ibrahim joined Radian from GreenPoint Financial Corp., where he served as chief executive officer for six years. Earlier, Ibrahim spent nine years at Chemical Bank, where he rose to the position of CEO of the mortgage unit. In between, he served as an international trouble shooter for American Express’ travel-related services company, where he headed reengineering on four continents.
Rangeford Resources, Inc. [SOUTHLAKE, Texas] (OTCQB: RGFR) announced the appointment of Thomas E. Lindholm as Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Mr. Lindholm was Executive Vice President of Radiant Oil and Gas, Inc. and consultant to several other oil and gas companies in Houston, Texas. In Mr. Lindholm’s banking career, Mr. Lindholm was Managing Director of Victory Partners, LLC. Mr. Lindholm also served as Executive Vice President of KBK Capital Corporation. Prior to KBK, Mr. Lindholm was Senior Vice President of Bank One, N.A. (Acquired by Chase Bank).
Mainland Medical Center [TEXAS CITY, Texas] announced that Tripp Montalbo has been named Chief Executive Officer. Montalbo most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of HCA affiliated Conroe Regional Medical Center. Prior to joining Conroe Regional Medical Center, Tripp served as St. Joseph Medical Center’s Chief Operating Officer and oversaw the operations of St. Joseph Medical Center’s downtown Houston and Heights hospital locations. Montalbo also held senior management positions at Huntsville Memorial Hospital and HCA affiliated Bayshore Medical Center.
Horizon Air [SEATTLE] appointed David Campbell as chief executive officer and president. Campbell joined Horizon as president and chief operating officer in July 2014 with more than 25 years of experience in maintenance and flight operations. Prior to joining Horizon Air, he served as vice president of maintenance and engineering at jetBlue Airways and as vice president of safety and operational performance at American Airlines. He joined American in 1988 after serving four years in the U.S. Air Force.
PostProcess Technologies [BUFFALO, N.Y.] announced Jeff Mize as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. Mize was previously the commercial leader behind the rapid growth of both Climate Corporation and NAVTEQ Corporation. Earlier in his career, Jeff was with Honeywell where he held various application engineering, sales and marketing leadership roles.
Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI) [CLEVELAND] announced the appointment of Jeffrey Rolf as president and chief executive officer effective July 1. He will succeed Dr. Michael Heil, current president and CEO, who will retire from OAI on June 30, 2016, after a 41-year career in aerospace. Mr. Rolf comes to OAI following a distinguished career with Parker Hannifin Corporation, where he most recently served as Parker Aerospace’s vice president of commercial airframes, business development. He is extensively involved in Ohio’s aerospace community, having served as chair and current industry member of the Ohio Aerospace and Aviation Council.
Purity Vodka [NEW YORK] announced that it has elevated Brian Citron from General Manager to President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Purity Vodka, Citron was Vice President of Business for Belvedere Vodka at Moet Hennessy USA and held sales and marketing positions at Heineken USA and Fiji Water.
MTM Technologies, Inc. [STAMFORD, Conn.] announced that it has appointed Marcus Holloway as President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Steve Stringer will depart the Company August 16, 2016, and will resign from the MTM Technologies Board of Directors. Marcus has held executive leadership positions with PwC, ACS (now Xerox) and RoyaltyShare.
Alevo SA [CONCORD, N.C.] announced that it has appointed Per Dybwad as CEO to serve alongside founder and Executive Chairman Jostein Eikeland. The move splits the role of Chairman and CEO, previously held by Eikeland. Dybwad was senior director of business development at Maxwell Tech. SA, where he led the Swiss company’s high voltage operations, including expansion to China. As CEO and Director of Dentware Scandinavia, Dybwad continued his long association with medtech and specialty metals. Dybwad is a former Lieutenant in the Royal Norwegian Navy.
The Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) [WASHINGTON] named Michael Kaplan as its new leader. For the past 20 years, Kaplan has headed various nonprofits and patient advocacy groups, including his most recent position as President and CEO of Washington, DC-based AIDS United. He will assume the role of MRA’s president and CEO effective July 5. Prior to joining AIDS United, Kaplan held leadership positions at Cascade AIDS Project in Portland, Ore., and the Academy for Educational Development, Futures Group International and the National Youth Advocacy Coalition in Washington, DC.
EndoStim, Inc. [ST. LOUIS and NIJMEGEN, The Netherlands] announced the appointment of Rohan Hoare as president and chief executive officer. Dr. Hoare succeeds Bevil J. Hogg, a co-founder of EndoStim, who will continue to serve the company as a consultant. Prior to joining EndoStim, Dr. Hoare was president of the Neuromodulation business unit of Livanova, the joint company formed by the merger of Cyberonics and Sorin Group. At Cyberonics, he served as chief operating officer. Previously, Dr. Hoare was president of St. Jude Medical’s Neuromodulation Division and a consultant with McKinsey & Co.
InRule Technology® [CHICAGO] announced that Co-Founder Rik Chomko has been named as chief executive officer. Since co-founding InRule Technology in 2002, Chomko has served in a variety of roles, including chief product officer and chief operating officer.
PrecyseTech Corporation [RESTON, Va.] announced that Paul B. Silverman, has been appointed President and CEO of PrecyseTech, and will assume responsibility for managing PrecyseTech’s global business including Israeli R&D operations. Mr. Silverman will also serve as a member of the Board of Directors.
Morris Animal Foundation [DENVER] announced it has appointed Dr. John Reddington as the organization’s new president and CEO. Most recently, Dr. Reddington was working as a consultant for the biopharma industry, prior to which he was chief operating officer for Cambridge Biomedical Inc. Dr. Reddington has served as president and CEO of Sirtex Medical Inc., a U.S. division of the Australian company Sirtex Medical Group Ltd. Prior to joining Sirtex, he was chief operating officer and senior vice president of research and development for Valentis Inc.
MOKO Social Media [ALEXANDRIA, VA] (NASDAQ: MOKO) announced that Shripal Shah has been appointed Managing Director and CEO. Mr Shah has been the Company’s interim CEO since February of this year and prior to this served as MOKO’s Chief Operating Officer.
SmartStream Technologies [NEW YORK] announced that Haytham Kaddoura has been named CEO. Mr. Kaddoura served as an advisor to the Board of Directors of SmartStream, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the SmartStream Reference Data Utility.
The National Research Center for College & University Admissions™ (NRCCUA®) [LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo.] announced the appointment of Patrick Vogt as NRCCUA’s new CEO. Mr. Vogt brings nearly 30 years of experience building innovative technology and products, Mr. Vogt assumes the leadership of NRCCUA from Don Munce, who is transitioning from his role as CEO to Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Vogt was previously CEO for HealthiNation. Before that, Mr. Vogt was President of The Weather Channel’s International Division. His career included CEO roles at leading digital media technology companies, as well as senior executive positions at Sony, Dell and HP.
Movember Foundation [LOS ANGELES] announced that Owen Sharp has been appointed the new CEO effective June 1. Prior to joining the Movember Foundation in October 2015 as COO, Owen was the CEO of Prostate Cancer UK. He will succeed Adam Garone, who after 13 years at the helm is moving into a key ambassadorial role for the Foundation.
Surna Inc. [BOULDER, Colorado] (OTCQB: SRNA) will promote Trent Doucet from COO to CEO effective June 15, 2016. Founder Stephen Keen will become director of technology and focus on innovation and product development. Both executives will remain on the board of directors. Trent Doucet began advising Surna in April 2015 and was named COO in November 2015. Doucet has founded several companies including Primus Networks, Inc. Primus was acquired in 2011 by mindSHIFT Technologies, a leading managed IT service provider. Doucet joined mindSHIFT as VP and Managing Director. Fluent in Spanish and French, Doucet served as a cryptologist in the US Navy.
IC Potash Corp. [TORONTO] (TSX: ICP; OTCQX: ICPTF) announced that it has appointed Mehdi Azodi Interim Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Azodi has served as the Company’s Director of Investor Relations since 2013 and has over 15 years of experience in capital markets. He replaces Randy Foote, who is retiring.
BeoCare Group Inc. [HUDSON, N.C.] announced the appointment of Matt Valego as Chief Executive Officer. Previously Matt was SVP & Chief Commercial Officer for Precept Medical Products, Inc., General Manager for Philips Healthcare and held numerous leadership roles for Covidien.
Flowonix Medical, Inc. [MOUNT OLIVE, N.J.] announced that Larry Heaton has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He will also serve on the Company’s Board of Directors. Steve Adler, formerly the President and CEO of Flowonix, will remain on the Flowonix Board of Directors. Most recently, Mr. Heaton was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Cardiox Corporation. Previously, he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the board of ViOptix Inc. Prior to that Mr. Heaton served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Curon Medical, Inc.. Prior to that, he was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Response Genetics, Inc. Mr. Heaton’s earlier career spanned 18 years at United States Surgical Corporation. His career culminated in him serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of United States Surgical and its various subsidiary companies from 1998 through 2000.
Micralyne Inc. [EDMONTON, AB] and its parent company FTC Technologies announced Ian Roane as President and CEO. Mr. Roane replaces Mike Ciprick, who was Micralyne’s CEO for the last four years. Mr. Ciprick will become Chief Financial Officer and will report to Ian Roane in his new role. Mr. Roane held CEO positions at Kaben Wireless Silicon and at Sound Design Technologies, a spin-off from Gennum Corporation, which On Semi subsequently acquired. His distinguished career also includes engineering and management positions at notable companies such as Bell Northern Research (Nortel Networks), NovAtel Communications and National Semiconductor, where he headed its Canadian IC operations. Mr. Roane was also vice president of engineering at Sirific Wireless.
Lotus Bio-Technology Development, Corp. [PHOENIX] (OTC: LBTD) announced appointment of Michael Palethorpe as the Company’s new Chief Executive Officer and President. Mr. Palethorpe has founded several successful companies since 1998, including one what in 1999 that developed into a global leader in XML technologies. More recently Micheal also managed a sales team that yielded in excess of $1,000,000 annual revenues of Metasoft Systems, Inc. He most recently spent 6 years running a private marketing Company, followed by a 3-year tenure as President and CEO of New Media Insight Group.
The Newark Alliance [NEWARK, N.J.] named Kimberly Baxter McLain as its next Chief Executive Officer effective July 2016. Kimberly has served the last four years as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation for Newark’s Future (FNF). At the Alliance, she succeeds Alfred C. Koeppe, who retired after leading the organization for 10 years.
Pioneer Natural Resources Company [DALLAS] (NYSE: PXD) announced that Scott D. Sheffield will retire as the Company’s chief executive officer effective Dec. 31, 2016. Pioneer’s board of directors approved a transition plan under which the Company’s president and chief operating officer, Timothy L. Dove, will succeed Sheffield as the Company’s president and chief executive officer upon his retirement. Sheffield will continue as executive chairman of the Company’s board of directors through Dec. 31, 2017, at which time he will retire as an executive and employee of the Company but remain on the board. Dove joined Parker & Parsley in 1994 as vice president of business development and was promoted to senior vice president in 1996 where he served until the formation of Pioneer in 1997. With Pioneer, Dove held the position of executive vice president – business development until 2000 when he was promoted to executive vice president and chief financial officer. In 2004, Dove was named the Company’s president and chief operating officer. Dove was elected to the board of directors in 2013. Prior to joining Parker & Parsley, Dove worked for Diamond Shamrock Corporation and a successor, Maxus Energy Corporation.
Renewable Power Direct (RPD) [WASHINGTON] hired Eric Alam as CEO. Mr. Alam was formerly executive vice president of sales at Viridity Energy, and has held executive roles in several retail power companies. He will open a new office for RPD in Houston. Prior to Viridity, he served on the executive team of World Energy where he streamlined operations and significantly grew sales revenue. Mr. Alam has also served in leadership positions at Commerce Energy and Pennzoil..
American Student Assistance® [BOSTON] announced the retirement of President and CEO Paul Combe after 20 years of service to the organization. Effective July 15, 2016, John Zurick, ASA® executive vice president and president of ASA’s consumer literacy program “SALT®,” will succeed Combe as president and CEO of ASA. Zurick joined ASA from his position as chief operating officer at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, where he served for eight years.
Intermountain Healthcare [SALT LAKE CITY] selected Dr. A. Marc Harrison as the new president and CEO of Intermountain Healthcare when Dr. Charles W. Sorenson retires on October 15, 2016. Dr. Harrison has had a distinguished career in pediatric critical care, and most recently held positions as chief of International Business Development for Cleveland Clinic, headquartered in Ohio, and CEO of the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Earlier roles included serving as chief medical operations officer for Cleveland Clinic, where he was responsible for a broad range of clinical operations worldwide, and as chairman of Pediatric Critical Care.
